I placed my order on Jan16, 2024. Conscious that it might take a bit longer to process I waited until March to see if my status was updated or if I would even receive an email apologising for the delays, but there has not been any communication at all!! I was waiting for this order to decide on buying more items but so far it has been disappointing to me. My order is #477777
Terrible! I ordered a certain model but they sent me a different model. Why would they do that? I did not want the other model. They returned the money soon enough, but I had to pay import tax plus the return posting.... 30 euro for nothing.
They do not reply to messages, and delivery is super long. If only I have checked the reviews before placing any orders! And the phone number given on their website indicates voice message only.
I have left 2 messages for my order (470825) ordered on 13 Nov, and nothing heard from them at all.

Awful! Will never buy anything from them again. My order arrived two weeks into their 30-days return window. The quality was ok but not as good as the picture. Size however was way too small. I wear a regular 8, the show says 8 but I can't even get my foot in there. Both too short and too narrow. I sent them an email asking for return two days after the 30 day window. They responded in one line that this is beyond 30 days and they would not return. I sent follow up email and explained but they didn't even respond. The packaging was awful and dirty. They come directly from China. And I guess they are sized for Chinese feet. I will never buy from them again. You shouldn't either.
I ordered some oxford shoes which looked great on the surface and had them delivered to my workplace. I put them on and before I even took 2 steps, noticed that the heel (sole) was peeling off and catching on the carpet. I wrote them to explain this defect and received quite an ignorant and curt reply saying 'used items will not be refunded'. Used? I literally just put them on and they did not acknowledge that they were defective and damaged and continued to ignore my calls for help. I think this place is a scam - the poor customer service brings me to think that they care little about standing behind their product and more about collecting money and then ignoring customers if there is ever an issue. I see there are numerous low scoring reviews on here - not surprised and wish I had noticed them earlier. I basically threw $150 down the toilet and they are likely having a laugh about it - stay away from this place.
I wanted to buy but after looking at each review I started to realize that some of the company's responses were the same and some were not professional. This notation that a company should tell a customer publically "Write 4 reviews with different names is spamming and we are not responding to you anymore" is very unprofessional. Even if that is the case, it is not professional etiquette to respond that way to a customer, Just fix the issue. That response seems to mostly be given when a person talked about the quality of the product or the quality of customer service so I can expect that the company may attempt to use that response to this review. However, I assure you this is my only post. The shoe design is wonderful, but I worry about the quality of the shoe after reading some reviews. I have not purchased the product and I am not attempting to get a return for anything so I have no skin in the game other than buyers should beware of a company that responds so unprofessionally to their customers online. When a company cannot attest to its product they try to discredit the person. Buyers look at the company's comments. Do you notice a theme? Look very closely.
If you get your shoe size right you’ll probably be fine (but I would be really really careful and don’t rely on their sizing because it’s not the same as most international size comparisons). Also, if the shoes don’t fit be prepared to only get half of the amount you paid for the shoes refunded if your return falls outside 15 days of them receiving the shoes back (which it almost inevitably will). I’ve lost 70£ trying to return a pair of shoes costing 100£.

Chiko Shoes sells very stylish shoes; however, their shoes are extremely narrow. I wear 8M to 8.5M and followed their exact sizing instructions. My size based on the instructions was around 8.5 and they state on their website that their shoes are Medium Width only. When I received my order from Hong Kong, China (which was a complete shock since I thought they were coming from EUR or CAD) the shoes were too small. I couldn't get my foot inside the shoes comfortably because they were so narrow and my heel hung about 1/2 an inch off the slip-ons and slingbacks. The closed in pair...forget about it! They were so tight all over that I felt like Cinderella's step-sister's trying to shove my foot in her glass slipper.
When I reached out to Chiko's this was their response, "The shoes you ordered are some of our best sellers, which have been purchased worldwide and no one have any complaint on width. As mentioned at our website, our shoes are available in mid width only. They would not fit for wide width."
First and foremost, when I sent my message to Chiko, I made it clear that I wear Medium Width. Their response sounds defensive which was an immediate put off and doesn't convey good customer service. They should have addressed how they could make the situation right or provide information on how to return which is what I requested.
Before buying, read their ENTIRE site very carefully because their return policy when buying multiple pairs of shoes is very confusing. I read some reviews where customer's had issues with returning because they purchased 3 to 4 pairs.
Chiko's return policy on bulk orders: "Bulk orders of more than 3 pairs or items (including 3 pairs or items) per order or multiple orders are not eligible for return."
I purchased 3 pairs and the last time I checked "More Than" would be 4 or more. I hope I don't have an issue returning. Based on their defensive response to my request, I anticipate an issue.
So, BUYER BEWARE...nice shoes, but they do not fit true Medium Width. Maybe in China Mid-width means narrow? I don't know, but these shoes are extremely narrow.
Do not purchase from this company. It's a scam. the quality of the product is shameful. listed as leather but clearly is PU leather aka ARTIFICIAL. i can't even initiate a refund as the option isn't available on the website and the listed phone number is out of service.
I made an order when I saw a pair of high quality shoes on the photos, but what I actually received is very much different from the ad picture.
The waiting in anticipation was a few weeks but the result was worth it. Great shoes better than expected and I love them.
The return policy (30 days) is based on order date and in my case, my shoes arrived 24 days after order date. By the time I was able to figure out how to request a return and customer service returned my email, time elapsed for me to make the return. I bought two pairs of shoes and really liked one pair and the other didn’t fit. Based on the interaction with the company, I would not order from it again.

The language on the CHIKO Shoes website explicitly states that no returns of “more than 3 pairs” would be accepted. However, my order stops precisely at the number 3 and is “no more than 3 pairs” therefore it IS the maximum allowable number for returns based on the grammar and wording that the Chiko website has chosen to use.
If the CHIKO website had stated that returns would not be accepted for “3 or more items” I would be not writing to them requesting a return activation. Based on the language used on the website , the number 3 refers to the total number of “pairs or items” that can be included in the return (in other words, the parenthetical clarification on the CHIKO website is meant to confirm that only 3 items or only 3 pairs or only a total of 3 items or pairs are allowed to be returned at any given time, but more than 3 items or pairs may not be returned and are considered a bulk order, which my order is NOT).
Since my order contains a total number of 3 pairs and NO MORE THAN 3 pairs or items, it most certainly qualifies for a return or exchange.
CHIKO Shoes not only denies me the right to return the items in me order - based on the wording they themselves have chosen to use on their website - but they are not responding to any messages, calls, chats, etc. THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE - IT'S LIKE WRITING INTO THE VOID. No one from their team has come forward to resolve the issue. It makes my blood boil to be taken advantage of in this way: CHIKO SHOES IS ENGAGING IN FRAUD IN BROAD DAYLIGHT and customers have no protections in place. DO NOT BUY CHIKO SHOES.
If CHIKO is doing business in the English language, they should express their policies clearly in the English language - the Return Policy language on the website contains a deliberate intent to confuse the customer: it would have been much easier to state that that "maximum allowable number of pairs or items is 2" or returns should not exceed 2 pairs per order. Stating the number 3 and saying "no more than 3 pairs" are eligible for return does not CLEARLY communicate that the allowable number is actually 2. Furthermore, the company's lack of communication with the customer and/or any attempt to offer a compromise solution (e.g. exchange option) is a testament to CHIKO's purposeful attempt to defraud customers.
I have been a customer in good standing online and offline my entire life but I have never encountered such a poorly-managed company.

I been waiting for the return department to send me instructions on returning my shoes order 390036. After the approval, I was supposed to receive instructions. I been trying to send them messages through my Chiko account, emails, calls and still didn’t receive anything. Perhaps that is their way of making it difficult to return their merchandise so that people give up. I have checked my spam folder as well. This is my last attempt before I take this further.
