Having used lots of laptops, I bought my first pc and it’s been great

I recently purchased a custom-built PC from Chillblast, and the entire experience has been excellent from start to finish.

The ordering process was straightforward, and the team were very responsive when I had a few configuration questions before placing the order. I wanted a high-performance system capable of running demanding applications such as VR flight simulation, and the specification they helped deliver — including a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5070 Ti, 64GB RAM and fast NVMe storage — is exactly what I was looking for.

The build quality is outstanding. The cable management is immaculate, airflow is clearly well thought out, and the system arrived extremely well packaged. It was obvious that a lot of care had gone into the assembly and testing before dispatch.

Performance has been superb. The machine is incredibly fast, very quiet under load, and handles demanding tasks such as VR and simulation without breaking a sweat. Boot times are almost instant and everything feels responsive and stable.

Delivery was prompt, communication throughout the process was clear, and the system arrived ready to go straight out of the box.

Overall I would highly recommend Chillblast to anyone looking for a professionally built high-performance PC. The quality of the build and the attention to detail make it feel like a truly premium product.

Always been an avid self builder of my PC’s and when i was due a new system i shopped around for parts individually, but i couldn’t buy parts for anything close to the price of what Chillblast were offering on prebuilt systems, PC arrived the next day. really well built, cable management was pretty good and again, couldn’t be beaten on price. Highly recommend!

I purchased a laptop from Chillblast in August 2022. In May 2024 the laptop blackscreened, I returned it to Chillblast and they told me the motherboard had failed, therefore it was unrepairable, and they issued a replacement new laptop. Now 21 months later the new laptop has the same issue. Rather than sending it back to Chillblast I had it independently checked and the fault was confirmed. However when I phoned Chillblast the customer service person was adamant that if the laptop was unrepairable they would just send it back to me as the warranty now only covers labour. Yes that is the warranty, however, Chillblast have supplied me with two laptops who both failed in a short space of time with the same issue. There is obviously a quality control issue with their goods. The customer service person was not at all understanding and continued to give me the same pre-learned response. Surely laptops are built to last longer than 22 months? I can only put this down to poor quality control and would never buy from this firm again.

The PC I bought from chillblast is absolutely fantastic, everything arrived as stated, the build quality is something else, and the customer service is brilliant. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great gaming computer built up to an amazing standard

So good, cant believe how quickly it was delivered.

I recently purchased a new PC, it arrived with a crack on the front panel of the case. Nothing inside was damaged, the product still worked amazingly. When I contacted Chillblast about the damage and if they could send a replacement front panel. Their incredicly quick and friendly customer service gave me the option to send it back so they could repair it, which I didn't want to do or a refund on the case if I was still happy with the product, I chose the refund. My previous PC was a chillblast pre-built that lasted me for years and that I adored, and I was so excited to get my new pre-built from them. Their amazing customer service has only reinforced to me that Chillblast is one of the best places to get quality computers and I will 100% be buying from them when I need another upgrade.

I love my new PC from Chill Blast PC It's exactly as I wanted overall a great experience. The one hiccup was delivery, but customer service sorted that out for me. chill blast used the best quality components They couldn't get graphics card I ordered but they came up with a great alternative which I am more than happy with.

My partner and I have purchased several systems from Chillblast over the years, most costing over £2,000, with my most recent build costing about £4,100. In the past I was very satisfied with their systems, which is why I returned as a customer and recommended them to everyone. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has changed that.

The system arrived with clear assembly issues and basic functionality problems that should have been identified before shipping. For example, a cable had been routed under enough tension to bend a motherboard pin, something that should not occur in a professionally assembled system (particularly when paid cable management services were included).

More concerning is that the machine did not reliably start or restart. Out of the box it would not POST after shutdown unless the PSU was manually switched off at the rear and then powered back on. Restarting from within Windows consistently failed as well. After a considerable amount of troubleshooting on my own, I was able to partially stabilise the system through significant BIOS changes so that it can now at least shut down and start again without manually cycling the PSU. However, restarting from Windows still does not work. A system at this price point should not require the customer to perform firmware-level troubleshooting simply to achieve basic functionality such as restarting the computer.
I had also paid for an “AMD Performance Optimisation” service. At a minimum, I would expect that to include verifying that the system can POST, shut down, and restart reliably. Given the problems encountered out of the box, it is difficult to believe that any testing whatsoever took place prior to shipping.

There were also smaller signs of poor attention to detail in the build itself, such as manufacturer-supplied hardware (GPU brace) that should have been installed but was left unused in the box.

What is most disappointing is that I previously recommended Chillblast to others specifically because of their reliability and build quality, which I know did result in sales. Based on this experience, I will never so again, nor will I buy from them myself in the future.

For systems at this price point, customers should expect careful assembly, proper testing, and paid services that reflect the work implied by their descriptions. Clearly this did not happen.

Regarding their customer "service," despite bring these issues to Chillblast's attention, I did not receive a single response. Clearly they could not care less.

Really happy with pc. Well built and very beautiful.

Bought and it arrived 2 days later (very fast) came in very safe packaging and superb condition. Super simple to setup, plug in and ready to go. Highly recommend for prebuilds, runs my games perfectly and can handle my 3D software.

Excellent service

The simplicity of the ordering/editing process. Clear communications from staff -when I was called about a build conflict, it was clearly explained, with a very satisfactory solution. The regular updates on progress with the build. The speed of the build, especially when considering that it was not 'off the shelf!' The PC runs like a dream. I can't wait to make the most of it.
