Guys were great and handled with care

My experience was mixed. Some competent work but some not. The packers were very careful at the start but then seemed get bored. The expected reinforcements didn't come --just 2 packers till late afternoon--and soon things were being shoved into boxes carelessly. I began to help pack though I paid for the full service. On the move day I was also helping take things down4 flights of stairs. Still we were more than 1 hour late out of the flat. A few items were lost and clockwork hasn't been able to say how or why. It was a move of approx 3 miles with no storage, so items should not have gone missing. NB I tipped well as I do appreciate how hard the work is, but I really shouldn't have been made to feel like I had 'too many books'. The books were there the day the quote was given!

The reply from Clockwork is unhelpful. The missing items are still missing.

It was an easy, efficient process, and the removal men were friendly and professional. We have used Clockwork on all our recent moves, and found the same.
It's also an all-in-one, as we also needed the storage facility.

The guys who moved our stuff were great. It was a hot day but they cheerfully got on with the job and with no complaints about the trickiest of manoeuvres to get furniture up the stairs. Very pleased

I need a trustworthy company that I could rely on to get the job done as I was working away from home during the move, leaving just my wife and young son on moving day.

The movers arrived on time and completed packing and transport to our new address as planned. However, the main problem was the movers did not appear to be experienced; their packaging left something to be desired (some pieces broke); they did not have a ladder and instead, they used the kitchen bin, and in the process, they damaged it badly. More importantly, this could have resulted in an accident. One of the bookshelves whose doors have glasses was moved without securing the doors and they were about to crash. More training would be helpful.

The staff arrived in good time, packing done very well, boxes marked well. The same on the removal date, job swiftly done, and staff has good attitude to work.

Avoid using the Glasgow team! I had booked a packing service and assumed this meant that our house would be packed up the day before the move so that on the moving day, the team would arrive to pack the truck leaving us plenty of time to clean the house.

The day before the move two packers turned up at 1:40pm, had a smoke then got to work before leaving at 4pm. Numerous breaks were taken so maybe 1h 45 minutes work was done max. I was informed before they left that there was still lots of the house left to pack but different packers would be back in the morning to do it while other guys packed the truck.

On Friday three guys turned up - all very friendly and polite, but I’m then informed that it’s just them. It then turns out they’ve forgotten the wardrobe boxes so one of them left to get those, not to return for a couple of hours. That left just two guys packing the truck and myself and partner left to do all the packing. It was an absolute shambles!! What was meant to be a stress-free experience turned out to be the exact opposite. Had we known we wouldn’t be receiving the packing service we had booked and paid for we would have had the house packed up ourselves, fully ready to go on Friday morning. Instead it was a last minute panic and so ridiculously stressful. We were meant to be out of our house at midday. And the guys reassured us that would be fine. I had to keep changing the exit time with the solicitor and the team still showed no urgency to get the job done. All while myself and partner were working at lightning speed trying to pack and clean. I had to ask the team to stop sitting around and get on with it.

I am so angry and disappointed with the service we received. Yes, we got there in the end as the team kept assuring us we would but that’s not the point. We were very late getting out the house and I didn’t get it as clean as I wanted to for the next people.

On another note, half the boxes that were packed by the packers were labelled incorrectly, obviously from another job, so stuff labelled kitchen wasn’t for our kitchen. So more work for us to do in moving boxes to the correct place.

Absolutely shocking service all round.

Update: It's now two weeks since I wrote this review and we submitted a complaint directly to the manager we booked the service through and we've heard nothing back other than the copy and paste response below. Exceptionally poor service.

Excellent service, would highly recommend.

Slightly pricier quote than other companies but they offer Saturday delivery which is great. Removal guys arrived on time, were careful with belongings and kept me well informed, a good service which I will use again.

The men arrived on time smartly dressed and very friendly. The worked away packing our goods and took great care to look after our things especially the piano which they very very careful with . A great service

We had furniture to be packed and moved from Glasgow to Stonehaven.
Andy & his team were very provisional and they lived up to their name as it all ran like Clockwork, picked up and delivered on time.
