Fantastic service! Curry’s Middlebrook were extremely helpful after my careplan was just stopped last September even though no one contacted me whatsoever so I had to purchase a new dryer!

First Class Experience
A great and very affordable ceramic cooker, both stylish and functional.
Was brought this morning by Phil and Ed, and installed in no time.
Phil and Ed were great blokes who carried the cooker up a flight of stairs and done the testing to make sure everything was okay.
They also ran through the instruction manual before they left me so I was aware how the cooker operated and how best to use the ceramic hob both efficiently and safely.
Excellent service from order to installation.
Thank you
Gary

Click and Collection
I ordered what I needed on the basis of the website and the item was available for collection within 2 days. At the store the collection process was speedy and friendly. There is nothing that could have made the purchase experience any better.

I will never buy from Currys again. I will never buy from Currys again. Now your turn to keep repeating after me!
I will never buy from Currys again
Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have had problems with Currys, but yesterday’s experience was the final straw.
We purchased a TV worth over £1,200, with a next-day delivery booked for today. We paid £35 for express delivery, and the delivery was scheduled for 6:30am. We got up early, waited for the delivery, and the van arrived — only for the driver to tell us that our TV was not actually on the van.
The driver tried to contact the depot/central team but was unable to get through, explaining that they apparently do not normally answer before 7am. We were given no paperwork, no delivery documentation and nothing to sign, despite asking. How can a delivery be scheduled, paid for and sent out without the actual product being on the vehicle?
The result? We paid £35 for an express delivery service and are now potentially left without a TV until **Wednesday at the earliest**, despite being promised delivery today.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the problems don't stop there.
When shopping in store, the staff are extremely keen to push the sale, but there is very little transparency about stock availability. You only find out later that the product you have just purchased may not actually be available when you need it.
The customer service experience is equally poor. Trying to contact Currys is unnecessarily difficult. The email address printed on our e-receipt — customer.services at currys.co.uk apparently doesn't even exist. The phone line (0344 561 0000) doesn't open until 9am on Sudnays. The website says the webchat is available from 7am on Sundays, while the actual webchat tells you, after entering your details, that it doesn't open until 8am. None of this inspires any confidence when you have a problem that needs resolving urgently.
And the cherry on top? Once you finally get through to the webchat, you are told that they don't have access to store order details and that the best thing to do is to go to the shop in person. So after paying for an express delivery service that failed, the solution offered by customer service is for the customer to physically go back to the store — rather than Currys actually dealing with the problem.
And this isn't an isolated incident.
On a previous occasion, when we had a washing machine delivered, Currys' installation team somehow managed to cut through the power cable of a perfectly working washing machine that was intended for sale. What followed was months of back-and-forth, with us having to repeatedly prove that we were not responsible for the damage.
The common theme throughout all of these experiences is the same: the customer is left to sort out problems that Currys should have prevented or resolved themselves.
The in-store experience can feel like the priority is simply getting the sale, while the service and support afterwards are an entirely different matter.
We have given Currys more than one opportunity, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing.
I will not be buying from Currys again, and based on our experiences, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before doing so.

I bought a display BOSE BASS MOD
I bought a display BOSE BASS MOD
700 for a bargain price on 15/8/26 at Middlebrook, Bolton.
The staff member explained that he didn’t have the tools to release my purchase but took my number and said it could be a week or two.
It’s now 4 weeks and I’ve heard nothing.
I called Customer services last weekend and this weekend. Spoke to Chirat today who took receipt and store details from me and then said there was no update. He suggested that I drive 16 miles there and 16 miles back to see what I could find out. I expressed concern that this was not a very practical solution and could he get in contact with the store to find out why I’ve heard nothing. He said this is not possible? I asked could he put me through to the store? Not possible was his reply again. I asked could he email the store and request someone contact me with an update? Again, not possible.
For a tech supplier, there seems to be many glitches with communication?
Very poor customer service for me here 👎
