I ordered a T-shirt that was on sale, reduced from £40 to £20. For the sale price I am happy with the quality, but if I'd paid full price I'd be feeling ripped off. I can't see any difference in the tailoring or fabric than you would get from a standard t-shirt on the high street.

My issue is with the sizing. I am between a size M and a size L, depending on the brand and how they are cut. I ordered an L from here, but it comes up smaller than most mediums. If you're going to buy from here I would definitely recommend ordering AT LEAST one size larger than you normally do.

Delivery was quick - arrived within 24 hours of ordering.

Ordered a simple white tank top to try the brand. The cut is really good if you’re athletic as it nicely emphases the chest area. The quality is nothing to scream about considering the price of the product. Luckily, I purchased the product discounted, hence consider the price I paid as fair. Not sure about the value for money at full price.
Shipping was fast, so in terms of service, they get the full marks for me.

Product styling and quality not great. Returned it, you get properly screwed on the shipping there and back (costs ~£10 both ways). Will avoid going forward.

This is my second post as Wellwear flagged my last review as 'containing defamatory content' despite it being 100% accurate.
They may made no attempt to accept liability or resolve the issue of a data breach, only blamed PayPal.

But my payment receipt from Wellwear and PayPal includes some other guy's details. His receipt is included with mine, giving me his full name, email, home address and purchase details.

When I raised a complaint, I was told this was a one off, they had checked and nobody else had a similar issue and that it was PayPal's fault. Yet there is another review, from before my complaint, with exactly the same situation, so it's complete nonsense and an outright lie.

This is completely unacceptable, I have no idea if anybody else now has my details, and Wellwear has no desire to investigate or rectify the situation.

They could not confirm a point of contact to request a SAR and have not apologised for the incident. Real shame as the clothing was great.

Despite the reply below, I have neither recived a generous discount offer, or had a reply from the MD

I’m very surprised to read the negative reviews here. So far, I own two hoodies and a pair of joggers from Wellwear, and they’re all of excellent quality — super soft, comfortable, and easy to wash.

The sizing is spot on, and the garments fit perfectly. You can tell they’re made from high-quality fabrics, and I absolutely love cosying up in them.

I haven’t had any experience with customer service, as I’ve had no complaints — but the dispatch was smooth and fast. I also really appreciated being able to pay customs fees upfront with the postage, so the parcel came straight to my door.

I greatly look forward to buying from DGW again.

Appalling customer service, purchased the t-shirt/shorts combo and the shorts had frankly the most disgusting stains, i could not believe this had been packed and sent out.

Even worse i have for 2 weeks now try to contact the company, having submitted photos and explained the issue. All i get is automated AI bots requesting the same information over and over again, have emailed multiple times but cannot get a human to respond and am at a loss as to how to get the situation resolved.

Please do not buy and products from this company

EDIT: have now had to give the company notification of taking this to the smalls claim court due to no reply to multiple emails and no other way of contacting them

Good t-shirts, they wash well and fit nicely. I have four of them now. However, DGW seem to have some stock issues as several colours and sizes have been out of stock for months, which is frustrating.

Bought a tshirt from here to wear with a suit instead of a shirt. 1 wear and 1 wash and the material just looks awful, truly awful like I have been wearing it for years. Washed it with the min rotations as cold water as well, but truly apalled by the quality for 40 GBP. I will never buy again.

The premium pyjama's pants are a good fit. The fabric is extremely soft to the touch and hangs well. Quick delivery.

Ultimate Crew TShirt is Awful
This so-called “luxury” Ultimate crew T-shirt is a disgrace. The fit is awful, with bizarre sizing that clings in all the wrong places. The fabric is cheap and flimsy, feeling worse than something from Primark. If you want to laughed at and mocked I’d recommend as it has no trouble showing your nipples like an £3 fast fashion top. It’s no wonder they don’t put their logo on anything, I wouldn’t if I was selling this.

When a T-shirt is marketed as a luxury product, you’d would expect top-tier quality, a well-designed fit, and a sense of refinement. This T-shirt, however, fails on every level. The fabric is thin to the point of transparency, leaving nothing to the imagination. It’s impossible to wear without every detail of your nipples peaking through the cheap material. There’s nothing elegant or sophisticated about it; it’s simply cheap rubbish.

The fit is appalling. The so called “slim fit” feels more like a bad joke. How can you confidently market a compression T-shirt as ultimate fitting, like it’s a new invention. The shirt pulls awkwardly across the chest, the sleeves are uncomfortably tight, and overall it looks as though it was made for a child with no muscular shape. The size chart provided by the company is a complete farce. It’s astonishing how a “luxury” item could be so poorly thought out. The companies incompetence to manufacturer true fitting sizes and rather tell you to size up, is laughable, I sized up to a large and still struggled to fit into it, I reckon I’d have to purchase a XXL to have a slim fitting shirt like advertised on the website.

To make matters worse, the company’s handling of complaints is woeful. Their stubbornness and lack of accountability for this bad product only highlight their incompetence as a brand.

The fact is, I’ve seen better quality and fit in shirts costing a fraction of the price. This product has no redeeming features whatsoever and only serves as an example of how not to do “luxury.” Avoid this brand entirely.

I’ve ordered a few things and they are great quality BUT if you return anything you will pay for postage and a handling fee.

The fit and quality of these t-shirts is second to none. I bought 2 sets of 3 cotton crews along with the towelling shorts.

Everything was true to size and you can tell they are high quality based on the stitching. I think it's fantastic value for money based on the price - made in Portugal and the cotton quality is far higher than many equivalent brands out there.

If you want daily wears which will last you, buy Wellwear. They won't fall apart during washing, wears well as a t-shirt or a base layer with sweats/jackets.

Love, love, love this range of clothing! I was concerned at first that the grey loungewear might make me look like an inmate but the quality is so nice and very comfortable, the rest of the range is great, very classic but with modern twists which I love. I generally love tailoring so wasn’t sure I would appreciate this more relaxed type look but it’s great and again, very classic, think Cary Grant, Sinatra, Newman etc, and this styling is definitely more on trend these days than the fitted/slim look. The environmental factor is an added bonus and great that these garments are made in Europe and not the other side of the globe! I’m a huge admirer of David Gandy and really wanted to love this range and I do, in fact the whole ordering/returns service is impressive. Amazing job team Wellwear :)

My goodness these come up small.

Bought a few of the tshirts - XL and they are super super slim fit. I would go up 2 sizes. I am inbetween large/Xl in most clothes so really surprised how small these came up.

Disappointed with the quality and disappointed with the fact they took off £8 for delivery charges in my refund. Will not be using going forward and advise people just buy M & S autograph range

Had seen DGW on Instagram, so decided to try a couple of the products. Went for the black Team hoodie and bottoms. I’ve always been quite fussy about what I wear, but I can honestly say that these are some of the most comfortable items of clothing I’ve ever worn (love them so much I’m going back for the same in grey). Not just that, but good for the environment as they contain a special treatment meaning you don’t have to wash the garments as much.

One word of advice - if you want the bottoms to be more fitted (without looking TOO tight), get the size down. I’m 6’ 2” and the medium are more than adequate.

Returned item on 3/01/24. Emailed twice for update on refund and no reply.

I had really high hopes for this company but I am really disappointed. I ordered x3 jumpers in my normal size and for some reason they were really long and not a great fit.

I returned the items the next day via the post office and its now been a week and I've not heard anything back about my refund. I've emailed about it and also used the contact form on the website but still not heard a thing. Really poor customer service.

Excellent quality - soft to touch.

Struggle to find basic T shirts and polos that aren't too long or too wide. These fit just right (I'm quite short and stocky, between a Large and Medium, and went for a Large). Can be dressed up or down.

Have ordered another couple.
