Decathlon Türkiye Workshop Closed and does not provide 10 year warranty commitment

On August 15, 2025, I purchased a Decathlon Dreamscape Park & Ride 153 cm Midwide adult snowboard from Decathlon. At the beginning of the season, on January 4, 2026, while using it normally on a blue run, a separation (opening/delamination) occurred in the front metal edge section of the board.
I specifically chose this product because of its promised durability and Decathlon's 10-year warranty commitment.
As soon as I noticed the damage, on January 8, 2026, I went to the Decathlon Kayseri Park store and showed my snowboard to the staff. The employee informed me that the workshop was closed, so they could not repair the product, and they had no information on when the workshop would reopen. In the middle of the season—when the product is needed the most—having the workshop closed and being unable to provide a clear reopening date is, in my opinion, an unacceptable situation.
Under Decathlon's 10-year warranty commitment, I request that the separation in the front metal edge of my snowboard be repaired free of charge. I also ask that the inconvenience I have experienced due to the workshop being closed be taken into consideration and that the process be concluded as quickly as possible.

Decathlon Terrible Spare Parts Support

I requested spare parts for Elliptical e Energy products from Decathlon on May 10, 2024. They told me to contact Inter Sports company. Inter Sports company told me to contact Decathlon. I told both of them that they should contact each other. Both of them said that they received a record. But they did nothing for 1 month and 17 days. They did not make a positive or negative return. I contacted today. Inter Sports says you have no record. (They said they created it.) Decathlon says there is a systemic error. For 1 month and 17 days they said they had a system error... I mean.

What happened to "Customer is always right." ?

Employees and their manager a Ms. Hilal on Ankamall branch had an aggressive attitude against me for no reason. I asked for a change of a shoe that I bought online which was their own brand but they rejected it and wanted me to refund online (!?) with all delivery costs and all. After I went to their store since both their site and customer line tells you that they make change in their stores too. It was just a size issue why even make it a problem? They told me that it is their stocks getting mixed yada yada... but it's not my concern at all and this is not a problem you should reflect to the customer as a firm representative. Also I learned afterwards that size isn't an issue for stocks and that they don't process changes as returns (asked another branch anonymously) ...

They charge your card multiple times, and refuse to refund!

I have visited their store (Ankara, Kentpark) on October 19th and purchased one item. At the cashier desk, I was told that the payment (by credit card) was not seen in their system and therefore they wanted to try it again. Same thing happened the second time, but it worked on the third attempt. Well, 6 days later 3 different payments appeared in my bank's app. So, they charged one item 3 times. It is OK, things like this can happen. However, after I called the store, or wrote to the Decathlon customer service, etc.; they refused to return the money they charged 2 times in excess -unless I go to the store in person. They were not helpful and did not offer solutions. So, if you are not living in the city the store is located; but just visiting the city, be aware that your card can be charged multiple times and you could not get your money back afterwards!

Do not purchase anything from Decathlon Turkey website. Decathlon Türkiye is running by very unprofessional team. Their customer service phone number does not work. They do not delivery any online order, no response to phone call and emails. Stay away from Decathlon Türkiye!
