I just wanted to take the time out to compliment the loveliest taxi driver I have ever had. He was so pleasant and respectful. I had ordered a cab before him and they went to the wrong address then put it down as a no pickup. I rang and booked again and this man was lovely so respectful and honest. I wish u had more like him. Not the clueless who have to rely on either the passenger or a sat nav and can’t speak a word of English. Remember ur routes and don’t let people down with your greediness we all know u rinse the dwp for advances have some integrity u slug. 🐌

Same journey both ways 1st £8.40...2nd £10.20 !!! Both within an hour of each other phoned delta and they said the driver can change the price at different hours of the day...driver was burping and sipping coffee all the way home....💩💩💩💩

Some drivers ok but most are jumped up juice heads.
I ordered a taxi via the app to pay contactless and when I got in taxi, he asked how I was paying and I said card. He then asked if I would do a bank transfer as he won’t get my card payment for 5 days and gets a % taken off. I said well I will get out and get another taxi and he said he would take card payment but prefers cash.
I said well why don’t you have cash as your preferred method of payment and he then said well I would never have any customers!
Stop moaning then!
Most drivers are ok but the odd one with the bad attitude spoil it for the others who just want to earn a living.
Use Uber.

Lone female:Delta won't pick you up if you're at a bus stop.
I was stranded at a bus stop at 10.07 this evening.No sign of my bus anywhere,so I rang Delta for a taxi.I'm a lone female wanting to get home as quickly and as safely as possible.
My Delta App wasn't working properly so I used the direct phone line .The automated voice asked for a precise location.As I couldn't provide a house number or postcode,I was put through to speak to a human.I gave the bus stop as my location and was informed that Delta do not pick up at bus stops -end of .
What was I supposed to do?
Luckily I managed to hail a taxi cab and got home safely.
NEVER again will I call on Delta to get me home late at night.Ladies,please take note of their policy,and find another taxi company willing to pick you up if the last bus home doesn't show up!😡

Equality act disregarded
A taxis was called to take me and my assistance dog to a hospital the driver refused but after I had to explain the law and the potential consequences he allowed us to go but not before making my assistance dog sit in the footwell also illegal driver should ask handler were handler would like assistance dog to sit , on my return journey no argument but still requested my assistance dog sit in the footwell in a tight spaced my assistance dog was trying to get some stability by putting his paws on the seats this company need to get its contact email address working as ive tried them they don't work I will be contacting Sefton council for this blatant disregard for the law and the equality act 2010. Overall ill never enter a taxi again

Poor service today
As a regular customer of Delta I was very disapointed with the service I received today
Driver was 20 minutes late to take me to a hospital appointment, needless to say i was late and had a long wait for the next available appointment.
He took the longest route to the hospital, my husband and I attend this hospital normal charge £5, he wanted £6.90?

DELTA FIX YOUR ATTITUDE
Almost every delta customers complaining about the service they received by delta and Most taxi drivers not welling to work for this company. because the way they behave and the way they treat the drivers and the staff unfairly to be honest, I could understand why this company became smaller eventually will be gone. I'm sure will be very depressing for them unless they change their attitudes. Ideally I would advise those who wanted to book a quick and efficient service go for UBER I know its a bit extra I promise you will be very pleased.
Delta taxis honesty is the best policy.

Pay the extra for uber
Waited outside pick up point for 15mins driver called but couldn't find me even though I was stood right outside pick up point (hotel in city) then driver cancelled trip, called the office again and another local driver arrived and picked me up from exactly the same spot with no issues which was great as by this time I was freezing cold from waiting so long. First driver was quite rude and abrupt on phone however second driver was great and pulled up right outside hotel to where the taxi was booked too. I used to use this company alot in the past however their drivers have gone down hill recently apart from the occasional decent one.

Terrible, not dog friendly
Terrible. Booked a ‘pet friendly’ ride and was told to get the dog out of the car because there was a bit of water on the seats even though it had been raining and she was obviously going to have water on her paws. Offered to wipe it down or put something on his seats and he refused. Rang Alpha instead and the driver was beyond friendly and it was a great trip. Avoid these guys - use Alpha.

Disappointing and Appalling Service from Delta Taxis
Earlier this evening, I called at 4:20 and ordered a taxi, to take me to my 5:00 dentist appointment, I called again about 15 minutes later and was assured that I would have the next cab available as I had been waiting for some time. I stood outside and waited, but still no sign of my taxi. I called back as I was getting desperate and worried about missing my appointment.
This time I spoke to a woman, and I was told my taxi had been and gone, I said I had been waiting outside, but no taxi had been. I was then told that it had been canceled, I asked by whom. but was not given any information. I was really upset and told the woman that I was upset, that I was going to miss or be late for my appointment, and would never use Delta again, she didn't seem bothered, no apology.
I am 66 years old and currently have a disability that prevents me from walking steadily. Also, you might appreciate how difficult it is to get and keep a dentist these days, people can be made to pay for missing an appointment or worse still lose their place at a dentist for being late or missing appointments.
I had to make my way on slippy icy roads to the main road in the hope of stopping a black cab. Not one in sight! I had to get the bus, call the dentist, and explain how I had been let down by Delta Cabs, I was 25 minutes late. I am lucky that my dentist understood my predicament and didn't cancel my appointment. I was lucky I didn't slip on the icy roads and do some serious damage to myself as I was unsteady on my feet. I was also lucky that I was able to catch the 2 buses on time that I needed to get to my dentist.
I am disappointed in Delta Cabs and very upset, especially after being; lied to about a taxi calling the address and driving off because I wasn't there. Absolutely, Appalling Service from Delta Taxis

Worst taxi service in Liverpool. It's a waste of time using the booking system, they just don't turn up, and if you phone one to pick you up from a hospital, they don't turn up and blow it through as a bogey. Absolutely disgusting service.

Absolutely shocking, was helping an old lady into cab and she couldn't get in back, so she decided to try front, he let her walk all the way round and then laughed and said that seats just the same. He was very rude and arrogant. He also didn't have any plates on.

Absolutely the worst taxi company I've ever come across. Booked several taxis with them over the few days we were here. Pick ups from hotel to hospital. Each time they went to the wrong hotel and despite my repeatedly telling them, 3 times they did this. Then on the return journeys from the hospital they would be at the wrong entrance. Each time I had to ring them and all I got was that it was our fault and we had given them the wrong details. The first time the driver phoned to say he was here and when I said he wasn't and it turned out he was at the wrong address all I got was well you'll have to get another one then and put the phone down on me. No help at all. The next time this happened I had been on the phone to the office for almost an hour trying to sort this out and being told the driver was there when he wasn't I even had the get the receptionist at the hospital to tell then that the address I had given was correct and that there was no taxi there. When the driver rang me to say he was there I said well I can't see any taxi and was he at the right place, he claimed he was, but he was actually driving round and when I asked if he could see me he said yes, and I don't like your attitude so Sod Off and drove off. Well what a way to talk to people. Not only that they had left me with my elderly patient who is disabled and on crutches hanging around for over an hour, disgusting behaviour! Will not be using them again and certainly do not recommend them.

Pre booked a taxi to take us to Liverpool airport, unfortunately on the day, the taxi did not turn up, we rang Delta who explained they had just sent the job out now as they don’t take bookings in advance (which we were not told about when calling up to book the taxi), the taxi driver was 40 minutes away at this point and was already 10 minutes late, luckily we had ordered it early enough that we didn’t miss our flight but keep this in mind if you want to book in advance. We had a return taxi booked to pick us up, which was cancelled when our flight was delayed, we then had to wait for another taxi to turn up after calling them to query this, absolute shambles and won’t be using them again.

Worst taxi company I've ever used. We booked two taxis in good time, they never showed up so when I called to see where they were we were told by a very rude woman that even if you book a taxi they never actually guarantee that they will show up!! I'm not from the area but I strongly advise anybody to avoid this company at all costs.
