Have to get a taxi to work and recently I’ve been having so many issues was told use the priority booking app and they never show up on time. I’ve been late to work a few times now because of this taxi firm I now use Alpha taxis much more reliable and are actually there on time
Rude drivers
Rude drivers, refused to take us when it had been booked by our hotel, other people waiting for cabs send Delta used to be good not any more so can see why, will never recommend or use again
Confirmed they over charged me but still haven't paid owings
Over charged me but still haven't paid it back, I contacted them around 16th of April to say, was charged around £7.70 for less than 2 miles, got a reply about a week later saying yes I was overcharged £1.80 I have sent several reply emails since, over a month later still no repayment. May only be £1.80 but I need everything I can at mo for private tests after a stroke.
They also don't have anyway to contact other than this poor email.
I call and rude obnoxious call handlers say they can't do anything nor put me through, they say I can speak to team manager but each time they then say the exact same thing which is re-email, I explain I have re-emailed already several times and they say well there's nothing else we can do, I say I want to speak to someone higher up, no we can't do that they say then put phone down on me, I have several calls recorded of them doing this and offering no help.
Will have to appeal to financial ombudsman if they don't deliver this.
Edit: Can confirm this has now been paid via bank transfer thank you, I've gave you an extra star.
Scammer driver
African guy from the Congo charged me and my sisters literally double what it normally costs, from Liverpool one to airport. I do the journey often so know the cost.
At the end he didn’t give me the change but then turned to look at me for a tip. Disgusting.
a taxi with no sat nav
ordered a taxi for a trip into the city center the driver asked for the adress i told him clearly the blob charlotte st. he never spoke to me after that as we passed the tunnel i told him he must stay over to the left to get behind the adelphi he drove into the tunnel lane and int o dale st. i told him he was taking me the wrong way anyway in heavy traffic we finished up going back and going up towards the adelphi as he dropped me off he said he wanted £10 - 70p i gave him 7 pounds and went into the blob with my wife he came in shouting at my wife that i had robbed him my wife is 78 yrs old i told him to get outside where he continued screaming at me in afrikanns i told him to get the police which he refused to do i told him he took me the wrong way and i would not pay -- i reminded him he had no sat nav and to get the police --he drove of screaming at me -- delta are resposible for this chancer -- dont use delta

I ordered a taxi, waited ages. I then rang the office to see why it hadn't turned up. I was told that it had turned up. I said no it didn't. She just said, well it says it did on the system. I was going to the hairdresser's and had to cancel my appointment. I won't use them again.

Would leave no stars if I could. I booked on the app 2 days before taxi needed to get to hospital early for an operation. I added 1/2 hour extra travel time to make sure I wasn’t late. Booking was for 7.30 am Rang to confirm the night before got a very offhand response ‘it’s booked if it’s says in the app it’s booked ‘ No taxi ever arrived and when I rang to check after 10 mins message said on its way but then after 20 mins the message had changed to still looking for a driver ! .
I rang the office and was told they only put out a call for a driver around 5 mins before the booked time ? even if it’s an advance booking or an airport run. How ridiculous and why take advance bookings if this is the case and it’s just pot luck if anyone nearby is free. Surely these jobs should be put out the night before.
I ended up 1/2 hour late and had to use another firm who luckily found a driver for me as an emergency. This was because after a 45 minutes wait Delta still couldn’t find a driver!
Would never use again and would advise anyone DONT use them for anything important that you’d prebook especially an airport run.

I can say this about delta taxis they are the most reliable taxi firm in Liverpool and the most reliable taxi firm I have ever used.
They are prompt quick and have a great app to track the taxi and I highly recommend this taxi firm to anybody wanting a taxi in the Liverpool area.
Simply put, this is an excellent service with exceptionally professional drivers.
Not the best
My last two dealings with Delta; I needed a taxi earlier one morning so I pre-booked one for half 2 in the morning. However the event that I attended finished earlier than expected, so I phoned Delta explained that I actually needed picking up earlier (about 45 minutes earlier than expected) they said that they would send a driver ASAP. They arranged for another driver to come and I got home no problem. However an hour or so later I received a phone call from a confused taxi driver who had just arrived at my pick up location and was wondering where I was! (Bearing in mind that I had already been home for some time at this point!)
My latest, I pre-booked a taxi on the 'priority app' an hour and a half before I needed it (because of the snow.) I thought that I would allow more time for them to get a driver to me because of the road conditions. However come 8:15 I was still waiting. I phoned the call centre and was told that there is a shortage of drivers due to the weather. Surely you would have more drivers out earning money when the weather is bad?
In the end I ended up cancelling my taxi and had a bit of an unpleasant walk to work (about 30minutes away) at least I saved myself a couple of quid, as is it better in my pocket than it being in these jokers.
Bad taxi service
We were customers of Delta cabs. We booked a taxi the night before to take us to Lime Street to catch a train to London for Christmas. The taxi never turned up. We rang several times and were told its on its way Eventually we rang another firm, Village Taxi, and they were brilliant. Rushed us there and helped with bags etc to get us on the platform. I am 76 and disabled and my husband is 80.

You cant book a taxi and you cant ask for a taxi and wait the allocated time.they justvtell you its all booked in the area..no indication if that means for the next hour..the next month the next year..so u cant even order a taxi and wait..they just say no
Helpful Taxi Driver
called a taxis to go home 7th December the driver was friendly and polite . After getting dropped off I realised I had left my phone in the Taxi . I completed an online lost property form and then rang Delta the operator told me that he would inform the driver. I thought I would not hear anything until the next day 8th December . however 10minutes later the driver knocked with my phone , he refused to take any money for returning it .I was so relieved to get it back.
Delta Taxis often get a bad press but on this occasion I could not fault them and would like to thank them for all their help especially the driver for his kindness

Delta. If you haven’t got a cab available or can’t get one PLEASE don’t say it will be with you shortly. Waited over an hour in the rain with a disabled person, kept saying it’s on its way when it was never on its way. Just be honest and say - we haven’t got anything available. Saves me waiting and saves you getting bad reviews. Really bad customer service.
Lazy and rude taxi driver
We had to wait ages for a taxi from Manchester airport. We rang up for a taxi and was asked how mantpy cases did we have. He put us down unnecessarily for an estate which was not needed and delayed us.
Our taxi driver put our cases in his boot but when we arrived home he refused to get out of his car. We had to open the boot and lift out our cases. We are both in our seventies and thought it was incredibly rude.
Wonderful drivers
I used delta twice on Monday 4/12 for journeys to and from hospital, both drivers were brilliant, really pleasant and caring. Thank you

Shocking behaviour- my daughter ordered a taxi early hours of this morning to travel home after a night out with University friends and was sent a booking ref but no information other than a ref. 18 year old girl waiting around at night in Liverpool having no idea of the make /model/reg/drivers name of the taxi she'd booked to collect her. I rang up because she was concerned got a very unhelpful man who clearly couldn't be bothered 'ill book a taxi' I said no as I said it's already booked rudely replied 'I can't disclose information on the booking' I said im asking has the taxi been booked as shes still waiting? explained again she has no idea what car to get into ' I'll send a message' again same message just a booking reference. Whilst waiting and not knowing if a taxi was coming or not her friend's taxi arrived (different company). Unfortunately they couldn't travel home together as she lives in the opposite direction to my daughter but this now left her alone in town not knowing if and when a taxi will turn up and if she should get into it. Clearly a company that doesn't give a sh it if women get into any car pretending to be the driver - it has been known! It is also known that after reading other reviews, they clearly have drivers who are very unsavoury and shouldn't be driving a taxi. Disgraceful behaviour won't be recommending this sh it show to anyone. Cancelled and arranged a taxi with a proper taxi company
