Good website, parts in stock, fast ship!

I've had very good motorcycle parts shopping experiences with Dennis Kirk. The website is easy to navigate, parts are verified for your bike, most parts are in stock and ship promptly, and the company supports veteran charities.

Won't be fooled again.

I purchased two items from them less than 1 hour apart. These items were very small therefore they could/should have gone in the one package. Instead, they send two packages. Coming to Australia the cost was $400 AUD. The items themselves was about $20 AUD. Tried ringing the number/s would say disconnected. Sent an email and got a reply. I own a 74 FLH Shovelhead and I'm going to spend a lot of money replacing parts and doing it up. However, these parts WILL not be coming from Dennis Kirk ever again.

If the items are not placed on the same order they will not get shipped together. We process 1000's of order s a day and there is no way for us to catch orders that are for the same customer.

Customer service department is ridiculous

I ordered a new clutch cable for my bike, I will take full blame on ordering the wrong size. I sent the cable back as instructed by Dennis Kirk customer service, and put the new one on the sheet provided. After waiting over a week with no word from DK I called to see about my return. This is where it goes down hill, I was told they are going to charge me for my return plus shipping in order to get my part. They didn’t offer any kind of relief and I won’t be doing any business with this company in the future. If you get anything from them I hope it’s right the first time or you will be out extra money.

If you order the wrong part and ship it back to Dennis Kirk using the pre-paid shipping label, as instructed on the label, you are deducted $7.99 for using the label. If you feel that shipping is too high, we also provide a shipping label on your invoice that you can place on the package and bring it to UPS or USPS and pay the actual cost to ship it back to us. If you need to reorder to get the correct cable and the order is under $89, you would be charged the standard $7.99 shipping fee for orders under $89.

Wrong Bassani exhaust sent and when I called costumer service they were rude and unapologetic. First and last time dealing with this company. Do yourself a favor and order from Revzilla or J&P Cycles.

That is correct, she said she will go the next day to the warehouse but I just wanted to return for refund and I am sending it back today. Thankfully I saw on the box stating 36inch model, otherwise it would be brought to my HD dealership and the wrong $1500 exhaust would be installed with no ability to return after the installation. So I understand things happen but it would be 1500 waisted dollars for me. On top of that I had scheduled installation for this friday and scheduled day off for that so naturally I wasn’t happy with receiving the wrong part. The lady in costumer service didn’t seem to care for any of that.

Unfortunately this part was mislabeled and sent to you. These things do happen from time to time and we do our best to make it right. Our cust service rep was trying to make this right with you and was wanting to check the warehouse to see if we had what you needed but you insisted on just sending back for a refund. We do have copies of all the calls and conversations recorded.

Dennis Kirk returns are a scam

Dennis Kirk returns are a scam. I ordered a larger windshield for my new snowmobile. When it came it appeared to have been returned—loosely packed in a plastic bag with no protective film. I took it out of the bag and held it up to my sled and saw that it would not fit without major modifications. After returning it I got a call from their customer service accusing me of installing it, damaging it and then returning it. They are insisting on a 30% discount for the return. Apparently this is how they make their money.

Horrible customer service. Quick to take your money but God forbid you have something wrong with your order. Spoke with Kassondra who seemed like I was interrupting her candy crush game.

Horrible all the way around

Horrible all the way around! They sent me bars that looked like someone had returned. Thrown back in a box which when I received one end of the bar was sticking out of the box, tape all over the handle bar and missing hardware Called customer service Kassondra Sweeney which had an attitude like if their poor customer service and crappy packaging and service was my fault. Not even an apology. I should have read the reviews before giving them my business. Live and learn

Poor customer service

I purchased a $50.00 Dollar gift certificate for my Grandson. He lost / misplaced / destroyed it!
I contacted "denniskirk" customer service, and they were happy to replace it, BUT it never came. They told me on three occasions that it was E-mailed to me. hey had the correct address, and I interrogated my computer history, but Nothing! Our club will not buy from them again. I could understand if they just refused to replace the certificate, but can not accept deceit.

Sells faulty, dangerous poorly manufactured products

Ordered a product from their website (which is no longer in stock). Item number is 140-Tooth Drive Belt 1204-0113. Part #020521. This was ordered on 9/11/22 with expedited priority overnight shipping. I received the item 9/13/22 and installed the item at the end of the month. On Saturday, November 5th, mid way into my motorcycle ride, this belt that has been used for a little over a month, snapped clean in half, thus almost causing me to get into an accident. I spoke to the tech team at this business, inquiring about the life span on this belt, and they stated it was around 20,000 miles. Well, this didn't even make it to 1000 miles before it snapped clean in half. There wasn't any wear and tear, no teeth missing, just snapped right in half. To me, this seems like not only a faulty product to sell to motorcyclists but a dangerous one. I spoke to customer service and they were completely unhelpful NOR remorseful and said that they can't do anything about this because "No warranty claims are made or implied" on this product. I would like to be refunded for this poorly manufactured and dangerous product. Total refund should be $159.95. This is completely unethical that a motorcycle parts company would sell such a horrible manufactured item. Also how convenient that the item is out of stock all of a sudden.

EDIT: Since there is no way to reply to the companies response to my review. So here is my reply to your response, Dennis Kirk.

I'm am quire aware that you are not the manufacturer of your products, you are merely a retailer. Perhaps you should consider purchasing QUALITY materials not belts that literally SNAP in half after one month of use. Keep in mind folks, this belt is made of Teflon. Additionally, I spoke to your nasty customer service requesting information on the manufacturer of this product to no avail. Your company is below par with awful reviews on multiple sites in addition to multiple BBB complains, me being one of them as of now.

Per the manufacturer of the belt, because there are many causes of failure on a belt, they hold no warranties on them. This is advertised at the time of purchase. "No warranty claims are made or implied" Dennis Kirk does not manufacture the product and all warranties are through manufacturer. You can find the same warranty notation on the manufacturers website.

Zero integrity

Bought a HJC helmet and extra mirrored shield. The internal Sun Visor doesn’t work right and parts of the mirrored shield rubbed off after two cleanings. Admittedly I removed the HJC helmet decals so they won’t accept a return (absolutely fair). But they won’t honor HJC’s 5 year warranty on RPHA Helmets. They say I modified the helmet so the warranty is void and HJC won’t accept it. Warranty says, this warranty does not apply to any problems that arise from wearer’s modifications, etc. When I called HJC to ask, they explained that since the Sun Visor is operated by an internal wire, taking off decals doesn’t matter. They said Dennis Kirk can submit a warranty claim on my behalf to have it repaired by their distributor's warranty department. I called and e-mailed asking to speak to Travis the Supervisor but he won’t call me back. Lol!

As far as the shield goes they said they’d send me a new one when they’re in stock. I’m sure Ill never see it.

Out of curiosity. I e-mailed Revzilla and J&P to see what they would do with the same scenario and without hesitation they said no problem. A big departure from Sandy’s tone filled e-mails.

This is quite honestly he worst Customer Service experience I’ve had in my life.

Don’t just go else where. Run!

Sandy Boerner such a bad customer service

Sandy Boerner, Denis Keira and Travis did such an unbelievably poor job at customer service. Did not tried the slightest to resolve the issue. Did the bare minimum by responding to my emails but did not tried truc the issue. I emailed this company right after placing the order realizing that I had made a mistake in the address and the product. Asked to fix address, they didn’t try to correct it…

The initial email from Amy was regarding shipping charges for her order and why they why they werent free. It was explained and shown to her that free shipping is only for the lower 48. She responded back later then to cancel the order but it had already shipped. This is when she pointed out that she entered the wrong shipping address and we were not able to change it being it shipped at she entered online. The customer agreed to the shipping fees and confirmed her address during checkout.

Always get what I need from Dennis Kirk

I have ordered several items from in the past few years, never had a problem. They had parts in stock no one else did and I received them with 3 days always. I just bought Dunlop American Elites for my Deuce, because they had them in stock in the sizes I needed. Ordered on Saturday, received on Wednesday. The date code showed they were both made 2 months ago, not sure why some reviews said they got old tires. I will continue to deal with Dennis Kirk.

I don’t know why people are complaining about bad parts and tires. At least you got something. On June 2 of this year, this company charged my credit card for over $300 for no reason. I never ordered anything. When I called them, the person who answered wouldn’t even tell me where the parts were shipped so I could let my credit card company know where to look for the scammer. They must have an address. She told me it was fraud and to go to my credit union for resolution. For all I know, they are the problem. Trust them if you want, but I wouldn’t.
