Desertcart, which is owned by Indian entrepreneur Rahul Swaminathan, has designed its website in a way that appears to exploit customers through a cheeky, hidden policy that most users are unlikely to notice.

I ordered something from them, and after the order was placed, they charged my card and updated my subscription status.

They have allegedly scammed so many people. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I initially faced an issue after placing my order (Order #35310493-1783857352) on 12 July 2026. I made the payment of ₹1,181 through Razorpay, but when I checked my account, the order did not appear under "My Orders," which was quite concerning.

However, I would like to appreciate the excellent customer support I received. Although the delivery was slightly delayed, the product arrived exactly as promised and was packed exceptionally well.

A special thanks to Eleena, who took the initiative to call me personally, kept me informed throughout the process, and ensured that I received my order as committed.

I didn’t expect to find foreign stuffs in India but when I search for a specific sandal that my mom wanted ,the desert cart website showed up the sandal and I searched in google about the website and it turned out to be a trusted company and website so I ordered the sandal and it arrived at my doorstep without any trouble and it was done professionally . Everything is good about this website so far
