We knew the furniture we wanted straight away, and Liam recognised that and immediately helped us through the process. He talked us through all the options and provided clear feedback and excellent service.

It was a good experience overall.

We had been thinking about getting new sofas for a while, when we found ourselves in DFS Croydon, Valley park, one Saturday whilst waiting our children to finish birthday party next door..
We found the couch we wanted pretty quickly, just needed help with materials and putting the seating together (wanted to mix leather and fabric seating in the room).
The service by the lady (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten!) was outstanding. She was patient, knowledgeable, helpful and warm. She did not try to do the hard sell you often see. She did not rush us. The shop was not too busy, which helped; all customers were seen to, so there was no pressure for her to move on quickly.
The manger was able to offer us a small discount (as it was a cash buy?) on the overall price with care products and protection plan/ insurance which, now that I have checked online, brings the price to just under what we would have paid online.
I would highly recommend this branch if you want to get help with your sofa purchase and expert advise on different materials/fabrics, seat cushion options and care of your sofa. It's also essential to sit on a couch before you commit to purchasing it. If I had gone based on the look online, I would have ended up with a couch that felt too soft for me.

The lady that advised me (Hanifah) at Croydon Valley Park last weekend was very polite, informative and professional. She had a great non pushy customer service style, and was very helpful, and really pleasant. I came back this weekend specifically because of Hanifah, and also the pleasant non pushy customer service style that this store applies generally, as I have been in several times before and never been under pressure from staff, but welcomed politely and I knew that if I needed help the staff were there. Your competitors are way off in comparison, so despite seeing alternative options that is why I came back to you. Don’t change, it’s a great style. Thank you.

So call the sofa 1/2 is twisted making loads of noise they’ve been up three times and trying to say currency for 15 years and it’s still not right. I’m having to go down to the DFS warehouse to confront them today. I’ve got the right arm they are they abuse my mental health and made me ill.

Rung us to say they were on there way to us.where very good with putting our furniture together where we wanted it. Very friendly and polite.
