Paid for a simple repair in January 2026, still waiting, it is now JULY! No communication whatsoever, so so so disappointed and I will never use DFS again. They simply do not care.
I have asked for a full refund and I still have no response.
DFS asked for a review a soon as I paid for the repairs upfront in January, I thought I’d wait until the repairs had been carried out, I’m so glad I did because I don’t even want to offer 1 Star ⭐️
Absolutely AVOID at all costs!
Shocked beyond all belief.
Poor customer service across the board.

I have been using DFS for decades for my furniture.
Spent 4.5K on 2 sofas & have had nothing but problems with them. First sofa it took 9 months before Guardsman wrote it off, 2nd one took 7 months before being wrote off.
When you pay this sort of money for their top spec sofas you don’t expect to be dealing with these problems. DFS need to look into who’s making this furniture as the frame work is of poor quality, the quality & the cost don’t match.
Have had my money all refunded except for £904 which they tell me was a good will gesture, it wasn’t, it was a credit note from a previous piece of furniture I bought, that discoloured, which was sent over to the store manager in Hove. I asked them since when did you give good will gestures of £904. Their response was, we like to look after our regular customers. My response was, so if I come in to buy new ones after the stress I’ve been through for 18 months what will you give me for the inconvenience I’ve suffered, his response was……£50. At this time I actually laughed because he said the company wasn’t a bottomless money pit. So you can supposedly give me £904 2 years ago, but only £50 now if I come in to buy more furniture. 🤔….it was a credit note!

Terrible service, my sofa, chairs and footstool arrived as planned, the footstool was terribly cracked inside, the delivery man reported this with photos he took and said you should hear in a couple of days about a replacement, exactly one week later I haven't heard a thing, disgusting service.
