AVOID USING BAD SERVICE AND NO CONTACT NUMBER
I ordered a parcel that cost about £80 and I had a notification that said my parcel was delivered.
I went home and nothing was there, I tried calling but the automated line is dreadful with no one answering for missed deliveries I tried their email for help ect.
After a few days to and from it turned out their delivery driver stole the parcel after the amount of s#@t I had to go through with the person who sent it.
Still no word from DHL who by the way have had a charge from the person who sent my parcel and they haven't even spoke to them either!
I wouldn't use these to send a parcel if you paid me..

Disgraceful. They claim to have attempted elivery when they have not. The ask you to arrange redelivery, but will not redeliver unless YOU take full responsibility for loss and damage of the item.
LAZY COURIERS no notice of where my parcel is a week after supposed delivery.
i had notification of delivery on a thursday late pm, it did not arrive, then they say it was delivered on the friday and signed by me but the doorway picture was not my house, they did not state which neighbour had accepted the parcel so i had to look up and down my street to find a doorway that matched, it turned out that the owner of the pictured doorway did not accept the parcel and the courier took it elsewhere but have not informed me where it is, i have asked several neighbours but am not knocking every house in my street, so dhl needs to ask their courier WHERE IS MY PARCEL.
update, 17-5, still no reply from dhl other than robot confirmations of my complaints, dhl claim to respond in 1 working day, it has now been 8 working days and not a word from them, WHERE IS MY PARCEL.
19/5, day 10, dhl customer service is as useless as their drivers, not 1 human reply, unbelievable, i have asked the firm i bought from to replace the package and claim from dhl.
UPDATE 28-5, 20 days after my 1st enquiry i have had a human reply saying my complaint is resolved, NO IT,S NO. my supplier could not get a reply from dhl either so they sent e a replacement package with a different courier. dhl say the package is at their depot being returned to sender, so it,s taken 20 days to discover that. appalling customer service, even evri sort problems out quicker.

Like others, if I could give zero I would. Waited in 2 days for a delivery (of wine). No notifications from DHL except using the tracker which said it would be delivered on each of the two days. It wasn’t. Rang the customer (non) service line and waited half an hour to get through. Eventually told that the parcel had been lost and that I now needed to go back to the supplier to follow up. Totally incompetent.

If I could give zero I would. This is not about a parcel but about a pension held with this group.My deceased mother held a pension with them. I sent all the paperwork of to them as they owed her nearly a years pension payments. 13 phone calls later, numerous emails and forms sent recorded delivery still not received monies owed to mums estate. When I have rung the bereavement line on 2 occasions they have asked to speak to mum! Every time I ring they ask me to go through the whole communications again, give me different time scales, promise to escalate and get back to me. Today they have said the normal time scales do not apply when the person is deceased. Another promise to get back to me…… way to treat a grieving family

Next day delivery now seems to take two days on average. Any excuse for putting up prices, and they have amalgamated with EVRi... Maybe thats why the quality appears to be dropping.
Utterly appalling service!
Told delivery would be Friday,its now Saturday and I have had NO communication from DHL.Just called the 'Help' centre and have been told its delayed and the parcel has not even reached the delivery warehouse! I was told to contact the supplier! How the hell are they going to help? Absolutely disgraceful company.

I really cannot believe this company is still trading. 4 failed collections. Getting hold of a human by phone is never going to happen. I went online and apparently spoke to a human, but it was obvious it wasn't
Had a conversation, I think, with a human, who took 4 days to get back to me after original conversation.
Apparently they'd been trying to collect from the wrong address! If only there was something handheld where they dial numbers and they speak to the person they were collecting from.

Give you a delivery time and then come early.
Useless. What’s the point of giving someone a time that you will be delivering and then turning up 30 minutes early. Unsurprisingly, if you tell me when you are coming, that’s when I will be in.
Very disappointed
I paid a substantial fee for what was supposed to be a timely delivery of a small letter. Unfortunately, it was delivered to the wrong location, far from the intended destination. I have since been informed that it may take up to five additional days to resolve the issue. Given the high cost of the service, this outcome is extremely disappointing.
In conclusion, the service sucks

Terrible service
A couple of terrible experiences in the last few weeks. First of all I ordered a high chair from a well known retailer which was lost by DHL. Today I had three parcels delivered, only one of which was mine. They were left outside my gates on a main road in pouring rain. I received no notification that my parcel had arrived. When I found them they were soaking wet and the parcel at the bottom was soggy and the box collapsed. I managed to find the proof of delivery on the DHL website and it stated that the parcels were signed for by Rosie. No one rang my doorbell, no one called Rosie lives at my house. The courier obviously just looked at the name on the parcel and decided to fabricate that the parcels were signed for. Absolute disgrace.
Almost as bad as Evri
Last 3 deliveries I have had through these people have been dumped on the doorstep in full view of pedestrians walking by and they claim this is a "safe" place. They can't even be bothered to knock on the door. I have been in for each of those deliveries and I only found out it has been delivered is when I have checked the tracking information. It's just pure laziness, they are getting just as bad as Evri. I will avoid from now on as it's only a matter of time before a parcel gets stolen despite me waiting in for it.

I then rescheduled the delivery to 15/12/25 and it finally arrived on 15/12/25
Absolutely terrible delivery and customer service I have received no apologies whatsoever from DHL for missing THREE delivery slots arranged by them. Will not be ordering anything in the future from companies that use DHL
