Booked online for albania to italy, very easy to pick up ticket. Booked flex ticket before that was easy to cancel. Actual ferry was appalling but don't think that was direct ferries fault lol

Did I got scammed?

I paid for a trip, they collected the money but did not provide for a reservation. After talking in circles with a bot for half an hour it was said a human would contact met. They did, they first wanted me to pay extra for no
apparent reason if I refused my trip would get cancelled.
I do not like to be emotionally blackmailed so I refused.
They then would pay me back within 3 to 5 days. It's been 10 now and I have not seen my money.
It seemed like I was talking to 2 different entities. One courteous and helpful the other manipulative and a bully who emailed me over ten times. I even got a warning that this entity was not emailing from the original company.
So I dont know what happened but it was/is a really bad experience.

Do not book with them

Do not book with them! Was not made aware that I would have to have a physical copy of my ticket. When I told them I was not able to do this and needed a refund, they completely ghosted me! I have heard horror stories about their terrible customer service. I have tried to email numerous times and no response.

As indicated in our booking confirmation, it was specified that you needed to print the ticket, and this matter does not fall under our responsibility.

Consequently, we are unable to process any refunds, as we have provided the correct information in accordance with our booking confirmation, and it was required that you present a printed ticket at the port.

Boooking OK - Chatbot KO

Very easy to find the righ solution, to book it and to pay; the web site proposed many options to choose.
The chatbot isn't helpful for assistance. For me was impossible to speek with a team member for support. I resolved in a different way. A normal chat with operators would be better.

Delay and no reimbursement. Lies and a chatboot

Direct ferries have now delayed my reimbousement for 7 weeks and they blame everybody else. The have lied and invented escuses for not paying. Only possible to "talk" with a chatboot - no way to talk to anybody. I now have 6 different ticketnumbers and everytime I have to wait for 4 to 6 weeks for a response. (and then they consider the case "closed". I will NEVER NEVER again use direct ferries.
