Very pleased indeed

I usually order online but the system was down so I rang and made the order, sent my prescription by email. All sorted very quickly and I received them 3 days later. Perfect. Love the specs. Very pleased indeed.

The customer in the shop should have priority over the telephone

I’ve used Direct Specs before and think that the products are very good and prices are excellent compared with high street opticians.
However my recent experience was irritating because half way through taking my order the man at the Shirley branch answered the phone and the call took the best part of ten minutes. I considered that answering the phone was rude when I was in front of him. Today I collected my glasses and had to wait more than twenty minutes behind another customer and then the man behind the counter went to answer the phone. I asked him not to because I was waiting. He needs to realise that the customer in front of him is more important than a phone call. I would suggest that Direct Specs needs a voicemail service for telephone calls.

Fantastic service

Fantastic customer service, received a telephone call re a query on my order, explained that I had lost my reading glasses and was using a shop bought pair for the interim, they rushed my order through even more quickly - cannot fault the service or the quality of the glasses. Thank you!

Great choice for glasses

Saw this firm several times, driving home. Glasses had broken which I had for several years. Thought I'd give them a try, and I'm really pleased I did. Quality glasses which I was extremely surprised with when I went to collect and tried on. Excellent customer service to go with it. Will definitely use again.
