Recently purchased a beautiful sofa from distinctive chesterfield and am absolutely in love with our new purchase
The guys were all amazing, took the time to listen to us and understood exactly what we wanted, couldn’t fault the customer service!

Would highly recommend using this company to anyone looking for a beautiful, quality piece of furniture!

Absolutely thrilled with my Hatfield love seat from Distinctive Chesterfields. The company was recommended to me by several family members who have purchased and they did not disappoint! What I loved about the process is the bespoke options of fabrics, I now have a beautiful printed velvet chair for my colourful cottage. The selection is amazing! Not handmade in Yorkshire!!

After reading some worrying reviews about Distinctive Chesterfields I contacted them to hopefully put my mind at ease.

I asked about visiting the factory in West Yorkshire to see the sofas being made before making such a large purchase.

To my disappointment, they informed me that despite what their website claims, none of the furniture is actually made in West Yorkshire!!

The production has been moved!!

As someone preparing to make a significant investment in a sofa, I expected much more integrity. I have completely lost trust in this company.

It's unfortunate, however, I cannot purchase from a company that seems to have such disregard for honest marketing practices.

While I understand the need for expansion, I must inform you that I have decided to place an order with another company over the weekend.

The feeling of dishonesty, as expressed in my review, played a significant role in this decision.

Additionally, I would like to mention another point.

On your website, it claims that the company was established in 1700. This claim is clearly a fabrication, and such misleading information does not present your company and its practices in the best light.

We purchased our sofa's in September 2021 - two 3 seaters and 1 two seater with different types of leather. They look as good today as the day they were delivered, the only difference is that they get more comfortable as the time goes on, there are often 6 of us at home so they get plenty of use - so pleased we purchased them x

Beautiful sofa and chair with footstool which feels so comfortable to sit in. The leather is brilliant not marking even with a dog on them. An issues with the footstool was sorted quickly. I would definitely recommend

I had my corner sofa delivery last weekend and I am over the moon! From meeting Olivia in the showroom to the pleasant delivery guys I had an amazing experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend, my sofa is lush!

I’m quite particular about my home, and the furniture in it.
I spent weeks, in fact months trying looking around the “Normal Stores” and absolutely could not find what I was looking for.
I stumbled across Distinctive Chesterfields and WOW! The furniture, designs and quality is out of this world. I got to choose exactly what I wanted, the style colour, I even had my sofa made slightly bigger.
I cannot praise the team enough for the efforts, I will definitely be back.

Buyer Beware!
I've been thinking about purchasing a Chesterfield sofa for a while and was considering Distinctive Chesterfields along with other companies.
Thankfully when speaking to one of their salespeople they mentioned that the company behind Distinctive Chesterfields (Comfy Sofas) has been in administration since last week!!
This information is nowhere to be found on their website and they are continuing to advertise and take orders as if everything is business as usual.
I'm appalled that the company directors have not been transparent about this situation with potential customers.
Thankfully, the salesperson had the integrity to make me aware of this, unlike the directors!!
Think twice before placing an order!! Distinctive Chesterfields' lack of transparency is a huge red flag.

If I had any doubts about not choosing Distinctive Chesterfield I don’t anymore.

Interesting that within hours of my review three new 5 star ‘reviews’ appear…as if by magic!!

One reads like an AI robot and another is from someone that ‘reviewed’ Oswald & Pablo in 2021.

Searched companies house and found the Oswald & Pablo directors now own Distinctive Chesterfields (Now Distinctive Lifestyle Limited)

Coincidence?? Do they think customers are stupid!!

Why can’t companies just be honest???

I’ll be giving my money to a company that I can trust!!

While I appreciate you providing clarification on the situation, I would have been much more satisfied if this transparency had been offered immediately, rather than initially attempting to have my genuine review removed from Trustpilot.

Additionally, I noticed that you did not address the concerning pattern of 5 star reviews appearing within hours of my initial review, including one from an account that previously reviewed a company whose directors now own Distinctive Chesterfields.

While I appreciate your clarification, ultimately, as a potential customer, I value transparency and honesty above all else.

Regrettably, my experience has found this to be distinctly lacking.
