What a rubbish online company.

You paid £29.99 for expert planning design and still got it all wrong.

First of all, my kitchen units came damaged and took so long for replacement. The phone line help is ridiculous and not helpful at all.

Delivery people were absolutely nightmare, handled your expensive units like toys and not careful with them.

I booked in for a template of a worktop, but they could not make the template due to incorrect depth size of base units. I have contacted the DIY via portal, but they took long to respond. You can save a little extra ordering from here, however, the stress is not worth at all when problems happened.

First experience from this company, honestly, I would never go back to them again. Perhaps, spending a little extra money but everything will go smoother.

Life time experience. Nothing has been resolved and I'm running out of patience with them.

Any queries that I have had with my orders at DIY kitchens, have been dealt with so well, I have to say Katie F and also Claire M in the customer service team have been superb in answering my questions. Great team!

A wonderful experience in planning my kitchen, Amy helped to ensure that everything was good to go. She checked our design thoroughly and her correspondence was prompt and really helpful. Am looking forward to delivery and having it installed. Highly recommend!

We ordered our kitchen and it was delivered as expected. What we didnt expect is my Husband to become gravely ill and fighting for his life. Our assembled kitchen sat in our front room for nearly a year whilst he recovered. The kitchen has been fitted in the last few months and as the boxes were unpacked the boxes we found a gift from you to us and whilst the cookies were out of date understandably, we smiled and were so grateful that we were able to finally have our new kitchen fitted and have ZERO issues and celebrate with a cuppa on you. Amazing service, the quality and workmanship is second to none.

The kitchen looks stunning and is really solid and sturdy. The fitter we used was really impressed with the quality and everything works beautifully. I was able to select the sizes I wanted and was even able to opt for the traditional skirting board plinth which came pre painted. I used the same units in the utility room and they look gorgeous.

Prices are surprisingly competitive - far lower than other solid wood kitchens. I loved being able to design the kitchen myself with DIY supporting me if I had any questions.

We have visited both DIY Kitchens showrooms over the years and when we moved recently,
we knew we wanted to purchase from you. We were impressed with the quality of the units and
the number of variables available to create our own unique kitchen. The quality of the carcasses far
exceeded other comparable brands. My husband and I both have back issues, so decided to opt from predominantly drawers. The quality of the drawer runners is superb and having these has made the kitchen so much easier to use. We also knew we wanted a larder cupboard and this has been an absolute ‘game changer’, as we now can find ingredients easily and no rummaging around in the back of the cupboard. The ordering process was straightforward and your staff are very helpful. We had no real issues with the installation process. We would have created an island from units, but we opted for a bespoke option as I am not very tall and this is at table height.

Unfortunately we do not have a utility room in our new house, so we a created a ‘mini’ utility room in one of your broom cupboards which also houses a tumble dryer. This works really well and has the added benefit of raising the tumble dryer off the floor.

We did need to request a further length of the coving as insufficient allowance had been made for all the mitres, but this was sent quickly and without further charge.

We were pleased to see that the kitchen was delivered with care and all the items were packaged carefully.

Rachel very helpful, big thankyou to Rachel for preventing a bit of a disaster as we inadvertently deleted a component we needed.
The final amendments went through and all perfect- hopefully arriving in 2 weeks time.

I'm in the process of purchasing my second kitchen through DIY Kitchens. The support team have been very responsive, always replying within a day (and sometimes within hours). Beth in particular has helped follow up on some delayed samples so I can get an order in before their summer sale finished. Really appreciated!

I had a great experience with DIY Kitchens. I had an issue with a wall unit, but it was resolved quickly and with minimal effort required from me. Katie F was helpful from start to finish, keeping me informed and making the whole process straightforward. Excellent customer service.

I'm Becci from Bristol and I heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend who had a beautiful kitchen renovation about 2 years ago. Her kitchen was fantastic so I thought I'd give it a go as my kitchen was due a much needed facelift! The planner was pretty easy to use and the ordering process was straight forward. The kitchen was good quality and I love the colour and the door knobs. Given the small size of my kitchen, I was surprised when other quotes were coming in over £5k, but DIY were cheaper for a style and colour I loved. I bought everything except appliances from DIY and any issues were swiftly sorted making the installation as painless as possible.

I’ve ordered the kitchen. So far so good!
My kitchen plan was developed on the site planner, which was quite intuitive to use. I had several questions as a result though and Sharon was really helpful, offering advice, before amending items on the parts list.
All in all a really good service. Thanks.

Fantastic experience. Great show room with so many units and all different styles and colours on display. The staff were incredibly helpful giving very yseful and practical advice. An order will be submitted soon.

Avoid at all costs.
After an appalling delivery experience whereby the driver wanted to dump my kitchen at the roadside, despite it being well within 20 metres of my property, I sent the driver back after his tirade of verbal abuse.
I rented a van and collected my kitchen myself.
The warehouse staff were great, loaded in 10mins and then got it home and unloaded into my house within 30mins (something the delivery people could have done but chose not to).
A follow up with the customer team, who would not refund the delivery charge, because of "conflicting information" between myself and the delivery team. Basically, the customer has no say and you're a hostage to the delivery team.
In summary:
Delivery team = Shocking
Warehouse team =Superb
Customer care = Shocking
This company is a complete disaster.

I had a few queries about kitchen units and using the Kitchen Planner. I received responses to my various queries within 48 hrs from Rachel, Dec and Shanun in the DIY Kitchens online support team.

Rachel and Dec were helpful with providing detailed responses to particular queries regarding positioning appliances in the units the available space for pipework inside and behind the 2-drawer sink unit.

I wouldn't hesitate to use the online support service again with any queries I have.

Only 4 stars as we’ve not yet received the kitchen, so can’t comment on quality/any damaged or missing items. We went to the showroom - incredible. Fab kitchens & the free samples are great. They have to be ordered. The ordering of the kitchen was fairly straightforward & it’s great that fillers, panels etc are automatically added. Not overly impressed with the planning side - we paid the £29.99 - and the design that came back wasn’t great - not sure our notes had been read- so we amended the plan. But a fabulous customer service lady called Jayne went above and beyond to help with my questions about delivery, etc. She’s a credit to the company. Thanks Jayne! 🤞🏽everything is ok when it’s delivered.

From the very start of the process, things couldn't of been easier. I have never brought such a large purchase on line so it was qiute scary. The price compared to other high street shops was very competitive. The ordering process was so easy. You then had the option to pick a delivery week, then they contacted us with 2 possibe days, then we received a call to say order was on its way. The 2 guys arrived very polite, they carefully unloaded the kitchen and explained when checking how the numbers on the boxes coincided with the order form. We are so impressed with the quality on the units. "Don't know what I was worried about." I called DIY kitchen to ask for an extended checking period and spoke with a lovely lady called Lynne, she was more than helpful. All in all I would definitely recommend DIY Kitchens. Forgot to mention, we also found whilst unpacking a gift box with a packet of Yorkshire Tbag and 2 Flapjacks how lovely is that.

The support we had when deciding what we wanted and needed was first class. Great value for money and no issues with delivery times. The quality of the Norton units was very high - our fitter (trained cabinet maker high end) was very impressed with the product and had no issues with fitting it. The whole thing experience was as we expected - we had a new kitchen 6 years ago from DIY and that has stood the test of time and still has the wow factor. Will use again (if we can think of another project!!)
