Rating my experience a 5* because of how helpful Fran was! She answered all my questions in full and even went out of her way to help me some more! SO HELPFUL! Give the girl a pay rise :-)!
I have spoken with other members and they have not been as helpful so big thanks to Fran for helping me out xx

This is such a great way to buy a kitchen! We had a go at a plan first based on what we thought we wanted, which was very user friendly. Next we visited the showroom. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed to ask a question and we could take our time as there is so much choice!
We were able to revise our plan lots of times and Kyle was very helpful when we asked for the free checking service. The running total helps you keep to a budget and the 3D view is brilliant. I definitely recommend DIY kitchens.

Great kitchens but the delivery experience is calamitous. We got a 2-day delivery window and they attempted to delivery at 10 PM (PM, not AM!) on day 1, we had to tell them not to. Then when it was delivered the following day, FIVE items were missing.
Now we have a damaged piece of pelmet and we have to jump through 1,000 hoops to get it replaced. Instead, we will stomach the £65 just to get a new piece quickly.
If you're ok with the chaos, then you'll be fine. If you need a smooth and reliable delivery experience (that you pay for!) - go elsewhere

A friend told us about DIY kitchens having ordered a kitchen herself - we are so pleased we took her advice . The idea of planning and ordering everything was a bit nerve racking - I was worried about getting things wrong. But the on line planning tool was easy to use and the contact and support from DIY kitchens was brilliant. They even honoured a reduction even though we it started after our order had gone through. Delivery was a bit frought as it's all a bit last minute with very little notice, but it worked out ok.
We have been very impressed with the quality, style and functionality of the kitchen units. Everything feels very robust and well made. The drawers and carousels hold everything we need and work smoothly whilst the oak worktop and up stands finish everything off beautifully and feel very solid.
We had got quotes from 2 well known kitchen manufacturers one was twice the price, the other half as much again. Overall we couldn't be happier with the look and practicality of our new kitchen.

Spoke to Lynne as I needed to order another door and an extra length of cornice. Absolutely faultless, she guided me through every step to order the correct specs to help get my kitchen finished. Thanks Lynne!!

Bought kitchen in October 25 and decided to add a few items the following August 26. On both occasions experience was excellent. On my most recent purchase, had several helpful staff responding to my queries, with a final resolution by Claire M going out of her way to help. Thanks to all.

Really great and responsive service from Hussain and Jessica through our kitchen design process.

Customer Service staff .eg. Claire M answer promptly , depending on issue send parts/ replace or send fitter .
Unfortunately I’ve had several issues of missing parts/ damaged items and or quality control issues so it’s fallen to Customer Service Staff to deal with issues caused by production or packaging ?

We were extremely satisfied with the entire process of ordering from DIY Kitchens, from start to finish. After a friend recommended their showroom, we visited and knew almost straight away which kitchen we wanted, the range and quality on display made the decision easy. The quality is far superior to kitchens from general stores, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into the materials and finish.
I was particularly happy to be able to play around with designing our own kitchen until we found the perfect layout. The online design tool was really easy to use, even without any design experience, and it helped me plan out our dream kitchen exactly how we pictured it. Being able to try different layouts and configurations before committing gave us real confidence that we’d made the right choices.
Despite having a fairly small space to work with, we’ve managed to maximise every bit of it, and the finished result feels far more spacious and functional than we expected. The transformation is genuinely everything we’d hoped for.
On top of that, the service throughout was excellent. The delivery drivers were extremely helpful and careful with everything, and customer services were brilliant whenever I needed to get in touch, answering questions quickly and putting our minds at ease.
Altogether, it made the whole experience stress-free from start to finish, and we’d happily recommend DIY Kitchens to anyone considering a new kitchen.

High quality kitchen units, highly customisable design, with lots of choice of colours and styles.

The kitchen looks good and the design process was very good.
We’ve found though that the baseboards have blown very easily over the two years we’ve had them in multiple places.
We also recommended the company to my husband’s family who ordered a kitchen from them. They are exceedingly tidy careful couple. They’ve got two chips on the cupboard doors within the first couple of months.
It’s been a bit hit or miss. Not sure I’d recommend.

Problems from the start and we wished we'd chosen someone else.
Customer service is dire, we've had endless problems. From paying for a design where they ignored where the service positions where. The design tool is poor and led to us being overcharged because it added items we didnt need, and despite asking the design to be checked it wasnt and we had issues with wrong worktops, wrong positions of sinks, missing panels, wrong sizing despite specifically asking about many and being told it was fine. Once they had the money they didnt care at all.
The worst part was the state a large part of the order turned up like. Damaged units, scratches, inadequate packing, items covered in glue, some built were not even square. So much was wrong they sent someone to look for themselves who initially told me i wouldn't see it anyway once it was fitted anyway, missing that i hadn't paid thousands for a damaged kitchen. Then their answer was offer me a £20 discount per unit or a replacement of each one. I picked replacement but they sent partial units which the fitter had to take the good parts to make the best of. They could not care less. Not to mention they gave me two different days for arrival of the second round of replacements and still brought them on a totally different day altogether without notice.
They've sent out one replacement part wrong three times now, and i'm still waiting on a fourth replacement.
You report it and wait days, and your passed from pillar to post. They're totally allergic to a phone calls too. Its now mid august i'm lost count of the endless tickets raised.
We wished we'd chosen someone else. We wouldn't use them again and would not recommend them. In fact we'd encourage anyone to avoid them.
Just to update we're now on a six repalcement of the same item.
I can see they've asked for more information in public, whilst on their own system they could not give a toss.

Despite being told the damaged goods would be fast-tracked, we are now into the 11th week of said goods STILL not being sorted. Three deliveries - three sets of damaged goods. Have lost the electrician because he can’t wait around. What an absolute joke this company is. Now taking advice about Consumer Rights.
Please don’t reply with your stock response of ‘looking into it’ - it’s insulting. UPDATE. Stock reply received 😂

We heard about DIY Kitchens through our builder who recommended them after they were impressed with their quality after they had just fitted one on another job.
We were doing a new build project and had looked at all the other 'standard' kitchen showrooms, however compared to DIY Kitchens their prices were very expensive.
Going with DIY kitchens meant we could upgrade all our doors to solid timber and have all the accessories we wanted (like a wine cooler, built in microwave etc) and they still came out £100 cheaper than everyone else for a much better product.
Plus their showroom near Oxford was great, we got to colour match everything and went in 3 or 4 times with paint samples and swatches to make sure everything was just as we wanted before ordering.

We made over a 10K saving in comparison to competitors - and got much better quality.
My husband researched for about a year trolling for real customer feedback on Facebook pages and DIY came out on top!!
The quality of our kitchen is amazing compared to others we looked at, the real wood doors and wood worktops are amazing - the pantry cupboards, bin drawers etc are so functional and affordable upgrades to get your dream kitchen (my non negotiable was the Belfast sink!)

We are really impressed with the kitchen quality of everything. I designed the kitchen how I wanted it and my husband done the hard work of getting it how I visioned it. Everything is at a high quality and would definitely recommend DIY Kitchens to others. We got samples of the doors and worktops before ordering we was that impressed with the quality and price we added in units and worktops for our utility room. Customer service was always really helpful too with any questions I had.

Really impressed with the quality of the doors and kitchen its my dream kitchen! The online kitchen planner was also so easy to use. Couldn't recommend enough.
We heard from a friend, word of mouth
We did make a saving I think, we initially had a quote from howdens for approx £16,000 but we didn't have a like for like as we knew we wanted a DIY Kitchens kitchen.

The kitchen I have in uk is a DIY kitchen and it is 12 years old and still looks new. We have brought a house outside of UK and because we were so pleased with the quality and look of our kitchen we ordered and exported a DIY kitchen to our new house.

I had the worst delivery experience in my life with this company!
After paying £120 (the most I've ever had to pay for a delivery) the delivery rules they have seemed very restrictive to begin with but we accepted as there wasn't any other choice. They don't tell you when the delivery will arrave until the day before so it's assumed you don't have work or life and have to wait all week for a potential delivery.
Once the delivery arrived, the driver called me angry and screaming about not being able to fit through the front gate of my community. He was cursing and thretening to cancel the delivery and make me pay again and wait more for it! I came out and of course there was plenty of space for the truck to go through so he was just straight lying. After he countinued to scream and curse the whole time how Sh*t my gated community was and how he should've cancelled the order the moment he saw the address! I was very put off as he was very aggresive and rude to me. While they were unloading the furniture from the truck it started raining and all the wood was getting wet. I asked them to leave the furniture in the lobby of my apartment building so it doesen't get rained on. They actually laughed at me and said they're not doing that and dropped everything on the street next to their truck! ! ! In their own rules it sais they deliver up to 20m away from the truck and my lobby was about half of that away from them. After leaving everything on the rain they just shoved the papers in my hands and left in a rush, ignoring my pleas for help with moving everything out of the rain.
In the end it took me and my wife 2h to bring everything inside our apartment and my wife spend another hour trying to dry everything. Absolutely discraseful in my opinion and even after I sent a message to them about this, I haven't heard back from them.
That was only the delivery mind you. After we made our order, we didn't hear from them in over 2 weeks to then be rushed by emails asking us to respond within the hour about changes to the design. They told us we need to change and add a few small things and never mentioned price so I was expecting a few hundred pounds. In the end they sent us an email saying the kitchen is sent to production and we need to pay another £1000 pounds for a couple of end pieces and no changes can be done from now on! That is very predatory and we felt scammed as the total price went from £4000 to £5000 and that is a massive increase, considering they only warned us about a £90 price increase but forgot to mention the other £900 worth of charges!
I will never again work with this company and will tell everyone I know to not go near them. I am close to looking for legal help as I don't believe you can sent something for production without having the customer approve it and not even informing us of the price!
