Dobbies Garden Centres - Perth Reviews 297

The table on our new expensive bistro set is not square the table is wobbly. I phoned on Monday to complain received an email today 4 days later saying they’ve not got one in stock to send photos do they can rectify the situation. The table is faulty!! I want a replacement. Customer service is shocking.

AS usual we are happy to visit this garden centre.
The coffee is reasonably good and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.
We purchased small tomato plants which we have now planted out into larger pots.
The quality of the plants are normally good and well looked after.

I enjoy the selection of items for sale in Dobbies, and especially some of the offers and seasonal reductions. Can usually find a nice gift for family or friends birthdays or for a treat.

We like the variety of merchandise at Dobbies and visit often. On this occasion we purchased dog biscuits from the pick and mix - fill a box range and some seeds. We did not have to wait long at the checkout and were served by a very friendly member of staff.

The staff could not have been more helpful, lifting pots and compost for me and putting it all in my car. Superb service.

Plants and other gardening products good as usual, but disappointing experience in Restaurant as bird flying around. When requested to staff made a half hearted effort in removing bird which failed .... not good for hygiene indoors etc.

On my recent visit to Dobbies in Perth, we enjoyed a delicious drink and snack in the clean and airy restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a problem about not receiving Sale information which the staff sorted out efficiently. I had a great time browsing the garden centre and making several attractive purchases. Staff here are always helpful too but it would be good if there were a few more of them.

I always enjoy my visits to Dobbies apart from the Disabled Toilet. All it needs is a proper tidy, decor wise & the Air Conditioner given a good overhaul, so that it's not an overheated, smelly, sweat box. The toilet roll dispenser is pretty awful as well. Thankfully, I carry my own tissues, because although the dispenser is full, you can never get the Toilet Paper out of it. I always judge a place on the presentation of their Toilets & by rights, Dobbies would receive Nil Poi, if it were not for the saving grace of their Shop, Restaurant & Garden Centre. So please Dobbies, the Disabled do not choose their lot in life, so it would be nice if you actually considered us as human beings & not dumb animals who should be happy with their lot. You're more welcoming to dogs than you are Disabled People.

It was a very quick visit. We lost a plant we were particularly fond of, but a suitable replacement was found at your store. We even got excellent care advice, not to mention other bits and pieces. So all good, although we did miss out on coffee on this ocassion.

we were sitting in the dog area as we had our dogs with us, assistant came to clear the tables right away and wiped everything down, she chatted to us as she cleared, beautiful fresh scones with our tea, had a lovely time before browsing round the store, all well stocked

Very happy with my last visit. Staff were very helpful and even looked after my shopping basket of gardening items whist I took a quick trip to the cafe so I didn't have to lug it round.

Visit for coffee & cake with our grandkids. Staff were really patient & allowed the children time to choose their cakes .

As per usual, Perth branch staff helpful and friendly, store clean, hot chocolate freebie drink a welcome treat and a present was bought for a special friend plus a few extra house plants for us.

Greeted at the door by very pleasant member of staff. The service in the restaurant was excellent with very welcoming assistants.
