Excellent Service!
I have this Hisense American fridge Freezer that was not working as expected. It was only a few months old. The ice dispenser was not dispensing any ice even though the ice bucket was full of ice. It simply makes this grinding noise without dispensing any ice. I nitially contacted Hisense who sent an Engineer from a service company. This engineer has no clue. He simply changed the ice bucket and left. Of course I knew that was not the problem. But the problem was not resolved. I contacted Hisense who then sent an engineer from DOMEX. The Engineer took his time to explain why the ice was not being dispensed becaused our frozen foods were blocking the air vent in the freezer compartment. This therefore affects the overall freezer temperature. He explained that ice in the ice bucket keeps melting and forming a thick block of ice in the ice bucket and the grinder. Simple explanation! I cleared the overloaded freezer to clear the air vent. That's it. Its been 1 week and its working like new. The first engineer from another company has no clue. Thanks DOMEX.

Rather than simply replacing a part, he took the time to explain how the blocked air vent was affecting the freezer temperature and, in turn, causing the ice to melt and refreeze inside the dispenser.

During the appointment, Leroy carried out checks of the drum for any sharp edges that could potentially damage clothing and also inspected the drum paddles to ensure they were secure. No visible fault or sharp areas were identified during these checks. As part of his advice, he also discussed avoiding overloading the machine, although we appreciate that you advised him that this is not something you do.
We understand how frustrating it must be to experience damage to your clothes when no obvious cause can be identified, and we're sorry that the outcome of the visit did not meet your expectations.
