Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 27 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported that their products, including phones and tablets, stopped working or developed significant faults within a year or two of purchase, often related to SIM readers, battery issues, or screen failures. Reviewers frequently found the customer service to be unresponsive, unhelpful, or difficult to contact, with many complaints about ignored emails, generic automated responses, and being passed between different contacts. Furthermore, the warranty process was often described as meaningless, with the company failing to honor warranties or provide timely repairs, sometimes instructing customers to contact sellers or find spare parts themselves. Some people were satisfied with the physical durability of certain products, and a few customers had positive experiences with customer service, receiving quick responses and replacements. Additionally, some users expressed satisfaction with the build quality and features of specific phones, even stating they would continue using the brand based on past positive experiences.

Dishonourable Chinese company.

Dishonourable Chinese company.
I ordered a tablet and within 3 hours replied to the order confirmation email to cancel the order. I sent a separate email and a facebook messanger message at the same time for good measure. Their refund policy states full refund if cancelled before dispatch. No response for 24 hours, then an email saying the item had been dispatched. I've sent 3 more emails with no reply to any of these. I have also now found out that the chatbot that handles their Facebook messenger, only sends a generic 'not available' message. I haven't even received the tablet yet and I'm already disgusted with this dishonourable company.

Doogee S59 is a despicable piece of junk

I own a Doogee S59 "pro" (although there's nothing "professional" about it), and I regret that purchase every single day. Ok, the battery has a long life. But it makes the phone so heavy I can hardly carry it around in a pocket. The interface is very poorly designed, leading to difficulties in accessing the most basic controls. But what makes this phone particularly awful, in my opinion, is the constant unwanted volume fluctuations for media, phone conversation and ringtone. It really hate this piece of crap and I will never, ever buy anything again from this company.

I bought a v20 phone

I bought a v20 phone, because there was a delay in dispatching I cancelled the order. They still sent it and after paying a huge amount for DHL they sent it from local Amazon, no signature just throw on my doorstep. It did not work. From the first day. Face recognition z fingerprints ( 3?) none, customer services never answer. And the list of issues is endless ...An oppo 5 y old is better than v20. I cannot believe how poor this phone is in 2024.

I bought a 58Pro about 2 years ago

I bought a 58Pro about 2 years ago. I was looking for a rugged and reliable phone I could take on construction sites and also take pictures playing with the kids in the water. All went well, initially.. I was able to take some great pictures under water. About 6 months later the little cover for the USB connector broke off somehow. Couple of months later the software began acting up, like not being able to swipe down from the top of the screen and 'see' all your activities, like new mails or whatsapp msg. I tried contacting Doogee support, but never got an answer. After about 9 months I also noticed that I've never gotten a software patch, much less a new version of Android. Not even a security patch!
We are now 18 months further and still no support from Doogee. Never will I trust them again with a purchase.

A joke of a rugged phone (allegedly)

I bought the alleged rugged phone V31GT directly from the Doogee website, led by the discount on offer, which was my first mistake as it turned out. Anyway, I had had the phone for about a month perhaps when, after falling from my jacket pocket as I was sitting down, say from possibly 50/60 cm height, something internal got broken and I suddenly wasn't able to make or receive phone calls anymore! Of all the things that could go wrong.. On a rugged phone, allegedly! Then I started the painful process of trying to get in touch with their customer service, which was and still is extremely frustrating, as they reply when they feel like it basically. I still managed to send the phone to be repaired but I had no news about it since, in spite of my several emails. All in all, a joke of a phone, and of a company. Regretfully an expensive one.

This is a complaint.

This is a complaint.
On 14 Feb I bought a package (tablet + pen + shipping insurance + 2 yrs warranty).
Even today's I don't have all the items with me.
The tracking won't work. I asked for a full refund and the answer is always to have patience and wait...
The price on the Doogeemal website is wrong ... as result I needed to pay +20 € than the displayed ... and of course this isn't related with taxes.
My decision to buy this package was a bad one.
The tablet based on specs has very bad performance.
From what I can I will share my opinion, reviews, etc to everyone I can in all the places I could to be sure other customers won't make the same mistake as me.
If that depends on me DOOGEE will be closed today.
I am tired of bad service, bad quality.

U10 tablet avoid at all costs

U10 tablet is a rubbish piece of tech. Only bought for a simple text only app which incidentally has worked fine on other tablets. Screen locked again yesterday making the tablet unusable. Very slow loading and it doesn't always load first time so multiple restarts. Can not put any trust into this item Clunky operation and in a nutshell a waste of money only suitable for the bin.

Oh No! It's The Russians!

The Russians were a security threat to the United States. It's something that I can't have, because they may create an security scam on the phone itself.

"Resputin Pandora Box".
Terrible things.

Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Not going there via Amazon and/or the Manufacturer!

Please avoid this company Dodgy Doogee at all costs

Please avoid this company at all costs! I originally bought a S61 phone from their official eBay shop last June, the phone arrived damaged "the back case wasn't attached" they advised my to glu it back together and they refunded me around £28. The phone worked for two months then the screen input stopped working,I contacted them again and it was a back and forth for a couple of weeks but they eventually told me to return it to china for repair, the postage cost me just under £30 and they guaranteed to repair it. It arrived back in the UK nearly four months later and it still had exactly the same fault! I contacted the seller within a hour of me getting it back and explained. They initially refused to do anything, then after many many many messages they gave me a email at Doogee where I should sent a video proving that the phone was still broken, I did this straight away. I got contacted via email soon after "on the 8th of March and they said I couple return it to China again for repair and wait another four months and pay a further £30 postage or post it to the warehouse in the UK for a replacement but they wanted even more money"because of depreciation"? So now it's the 12th and they are not replying to me, I got back to customer service and they said they have no control of the eBay seller. Basically I'm stuck with a broken phone and very put of pocket. I feel totally ripped of by this company. Avoid Doogee!

I purchased a device from their seller…

I purchased a device from their seller on Amazon and 8 months later the "rugged phone" screen glitched really bad and it was my business phone. I tried to contact them only to be ignored or given the run around on my warranty. There is no way to activate warranty online you have to wait to speak to them, and they don't email back. After 2 weeks of nothing I contact Amazon and they contact them and they finally messaged me in broken English and after a few messages and videos and pics and showing them warranty info they say the phone indeed needs servicing and will email me back with instructions. It's been 8 days since that message and nothing. I don't want to buy a new phone nor pay the 240 to fix the screen because it's not a common part. Especially since it falls under warranty but they're screwing me smh. Don't even purchase anything from these people they're in China and do not care because we can't do anything

U9 Tablet From Amazon.

U9 Tablet From Amazon.
Opened box and the rear of the main unit fell off. It does not go back on straight luckily the silicone cover snaps on. Takes forever to come on and now I find the sd card port/holder does not work. Just for good measure it also sticks on update of google play services, can't even force stop it. Considering this is my first purchase of Doogee I won't use them again.

DONT DO IT

DONT DO IT, SLAP YOURSELF IF YOU DO.
Bought the S100 and regretted it ever since. Ridiculous amount of software glitches and errors, phone seizing. Apps stalling and locking, keyboard doesn't appear. Can't do pics in messenger landscape. Google maps doesn't work properly. Too many to list tbh. Utter garbage phone.
