This company DOWNLOAD WORKSHOP MANUALS.COM is scamming people AND BEING AMERICAN is allowed to get away with it. They took my money and the software is unusable , they ignored my complaint for days. I asked for a refund. ignored that then gave me a long list of technical excuse and sent me a complex way to possibly get round the problem. Theyya re scam artists. There is a very simple way to solve this, but they want extra money So u=in typical USA style ignore any complaint and keep pushing for more money to solve the problem . I have the receipt and copies of all communication. Copied adverts and modifies to show lies. Will now consider posting all over the internet the adverts with highlighted false claim. The evidence is all over their adverts And we know already where they are based and who they are.

I could not down load the manuals, i e mailed requesting my money to be returned on more than one occasion, I sent them a letter using the address they make public only to have it returned by Royal Mail saying address was incorrect.
I regrettably cannot think of a way to get them to communicate.
In my experience they are crooks, please make up your own mind based on my experience.

The experience was pretty seamless. Got the download link as soon as i paid, and the download was pretty quick too. Added the file to VMWare (as stated in the instruction) and everything works. Can recommend.

Needed Vauxhall Antara workshop manual. Buyer beware! Huge downloads requiring (8Gb) Virtual Machine setup required at the end so even longer to install. The Vbox software instructions did not work but I eventually used a more up to date version and got it installed in an XP set up. This is GM's TIS (cracked) software which requires a licence to work and so apart from a handful of service bulletins is absolutely of no use whatsoever. When challenged to show me where my required info was he chopped the web chat. Stay well clear of these scammers.
I would also add that nearly all of the so called 5* ratings on here appear to have asian names and apparently live in the US (!) and none are verified buyers. That's probably a scam as well!
In addition all the GB reviews say they've been conned. Seems to be a pattern!

Thanks to all the scammed honest people who posted steer clear reviews.

I was searching for a manual for my Vauxhall Vivaro and a link to their website came up, I clicked on it and it appeared to offer exactly what I was looking for, a detailed manual that was available for down load. £8.95 later I had a link to a couple of files, one 7.9Gb in size, and some details about how to unpack the file. No mention was made at this point about the file format - it turned out to be an .ova file - more on that below.
Having downloaded the file and then unzipped it I found out that the format was .ova not something I was familiar with at the time. It turns out that AVO files run on an application called VirtualBox - which needs to be downloaded and then installed on your machine, once you have done all of that you can then try to open the manual - but you'll almost certainly get a VT-X error message. I have tried to get past this point but so far failed.
I have spent hours trying to open the manual without any success, first on a machine running Win7 and then a different PC running Win10 - no luck with either of them.
It might be a good manual, I've no idea as I've not been able to open it, if you have really good IT skills then you might be able to open it, but otherwise I'd say don't bother.
As for the email and online help - ha, ha, ha, ha - what a joke - there have been NO replies to the emails I sent.

I saw random pages for my volvo v50 2.5L. I put "oxygen sensor" in the search bar, but that does random sensor pages for the all volvos, so that is not helpful. I typed v50 in the search bar, again, more random pages about random topics. THERE WAS NO MANUAL on this website. You GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR, I PAID NOTHING was gonna pay 10cents but paypal says minimum $1. I had a headache by this time using workshopmanuals

Scammers!
Bought (what I thought was) a VW manual, downloaded it and it didn't work, emailed company back and forth for hours, kept emailing me instructions but the file was corrupted, stear clear because I was sent a fake file and they just took my money!

These are genuine people who provide a great service. These manuals would typically cost at least 5 time what they charge.
Pay an extra £5 and get them to do it for you, I had problems and provided you’re willing to wait a few hours they will sort it.
Just don’t expect it to be like ordering something of Apple or Microsoft.

I tried to buy a downloadable workshop manual and at the payment process, after entering my debit card details, the website returned an error code, like it hadn't loaded the next page properly. I returned to the previous page and tried it one more time - exact same result. I had checked the location of the company on the website before attempting the purchase, it listed an address in Liverpool, UK. But the phone number looked like a US one - a quick google check later and the phone number showed as a Florida, USA number. I went to the online chat - it said "offline at the moment"... also wierd at 11am UK time, if the company really is in Liverpool. Finally I emailed them reporting the payment problem. A few hours later David replied by email suggesting I hit the refresh button on the payment process and to double check the card expiry date. The card is of course valid and I use it on an almost daily basis - also to the best of my knowledge you should ABSOLUTELY NEVER hit the refresh button in the middle of an online payment process as this can trigger multiple payment requests for the same transaction. Afterwards, my banks fraud prevention alert was triggered and the bank called me to discuss 2 declined online transactions. They also confirmed that the bank details from which the payment request came was in Florida, USA. So although I didn't loose any money this time, this is a highly dodgy outfit and definitely not a Liverpool, UK-based business. I would be concerned for those people here that gave positive reviews and actually got the workshop manuals they were looking for - might be a good idea to virus-check your downloaded files and make sure you haven't also downloaded some malware, trojans etc. A legit business wouldn't go to such lengths to mislead as to their actual physical location. I wouldn't even mind if they were a US business.. they don't need to be local to me for a simple PDF download, but providing misleading/erroneous info smells of scam to me. If it looks like it and smells like it, it usually is.

I needed a workshop manual for my Audi Q7. The purchase was a link to 3 very large downloads totalling ~60Gig and the included instructions are ok, but quite complex and definitely not user friendly. After all the steps were taken, I had errors on the included virtual machine program that I found needed VT-X in my bios enabled. Some perseverance was required, but I am extremely happy with the manual.
I've read some other reviews and it sounds like unless you are capable of dealing with some hurdles, it's probably not for you. I can't comment on any other manuals available.

Absolute rubbish, I only wanted to know where the fuel pump relay was and a wiring diagram for the car. This manual has neither, don't waste your money.

A huge "thank you" for the reviews. I was thinking of going with this lot but the price seemed too good. As the trading standards always say, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!!
Giving them a wide berth.

June 2021. What DWM don't say on the order form is that it's best to place the order using the computer on which the VW manuals and elsawin tool will be used. I used an old tablet to place the order and when I used my main PC to open the order confirmation email I found the file download links didn't work. My emails to dwm were answered in the evening and Chat wasn't working.

This has to have been the most diffiuclt purchasing experience of my 59 years on this planet.
Be sure you have accees to massive disk space required - I have even bought a extra hard drive to try to make this work
And b hopefully get Bill Gates on speed dial, because trust me, you are going to need him....(or The Samaritans) depending on the level of success.
ok, so lets call Samaritans, wish me luck........

I had been looking for a couple of workshop manuals for some time and came across this site.
I made payment and received the download links almost immediately. These are substantial documents and take a good while to download. Once downloaded the instructions to open the documents are quite clear but involve downloading additional software.
David, whom I dealt with was extremely helpful at all stages while I endeavoured to install the necessary programs. My software (Mac OS 10.13.6.) was unable to support the necessary requirements and despite all of David's effort we concluded that I would be unable to open the manuals in this instance. David arranged for a prompt refund of the payment made.
My conclusion therefore is that these are very honourable people and when I modernise my system I would not hesitate to try again.
I think it would be very helpful if the website could state the minimum computer requirements that an end user will need to have in order to successfully open and enjoy the manuals.
Hope this is helpful
