downloadworkshopmanuals.com Reviews

My Car Manual download failed several times and was a very large size for a manual. On trying to contact them on-line chat was unavailable and there was no response to emails. Eventually I contacted my credit card company and they refunded me.

Grade A service, I run a car dealership and use all the time🌟🇲🇾!

I had a download problem. The response from DWSM was really fast and the issue was solved.

The manual was exactly what I expected.

I bought a manual form here two days ago. I made the mistake of navigating away from the page before I downloaded the links but thought I would be OK as it would also be sent in an email. The email only contained a link to one .zip file where there should have been 3 or 4. I sent an email to the support email on the website before noticing that there was a live chat option. I had a chat with David who provided all the instructions required to download and install the manual. He responded to my email at the same time providing a link to all the files required along with detailed instructions on installation. Couldn't fault the support or the price of the manual. Fantastic.

I have bought 2 different manuals and One of them has been installed without a problem but the second one I had a personal problem to install and I contact them thru email and they tried to support me. I was running witout a time and I have decided to pay $5 to have a remote support that I consider that worth to pay because they can easily and fast make the configuration and put the software to run. I consider thsi a great advantage and I do recomend you buy thew manual and if not having a good expertise in IT you pay additional $5 and go smooth. The manual is very easy to understand and is you go but you vin number the access is direct to your car service. Thank you Mike for the great support!

I doubt any of you reading these reviews will have been referred to this crowd. Most likely you googled a manual you needed and found them that way. You’ve likely never heard of them. So trust your judgement and avoid them completely I say.

I needed a repair manual quickly for my vehicle and the 'instant download' fit the bill. Not knowing anything about this crowd I didn’t want to give them my credit card details. So, I contacted them via their online chat function to pay via PayPal and received an immediate connection to Simon. Within minutes I had a PayPal request for the amount due and paid it there and then.

And then nothing. No download link received, no further information of any kind in fact, and no further replies to my follow ups.

After a couple of days I finally raised a PayPal dispute and magically received an angry reply from them, through paypal, and they refunded my payment on the spot - so they get one star for existing and one extra star for not delaying the refund at least I suppose!

Their excuse? They tell me when I was asking where my stuff was, I didn't email their correct email address - which I of course did, but I also sent messages using their online contact function which automatically fills their email address for you!

They also say they don't work 24 hours a day and processing orders takes time. I guess they could send me a money request literally within minutes - they just couldn't actually deliver what I actually paid for. Sure……

In the end I bought an e-manual for £3 on ebay. I had Workshop, Wiring, Engine, and Driver manuals all in my inbox within 90 seconds.

Thank goodness for PayPal is all I can say…..

Bought a workshop manual from here yesterday.

Checked around to see if there were any issues (the previous one star review wasn't showing here yesterday) and bought with credit card, making sure the lock was showing in my browser and that it was a https site.

I checked my credit card first thing this morning and it was showing the correct amount pending, so all seemed OK. An hour later I got a call from my credit card security about two suspect items that came in on my credit card today, and it appears that my CC details have been used to try to buy parking in USA for £140 and another in California for £179; both have been declined by the CC company.

Before ordering yesterday I did some web chat with 'Simon' about the manual. The replies to my queries were quick but soon after ordering, the chat window changed to 'Offline - send us an email.' Coincidence perhaps, or maybe once they have your CC details they block communication?

Anyway, this company has misused my credit card details, ie it's a fraudulent website, so beware!

Update: Looking at the earlier reviews (which only start in January 2021) there are several reviewers who say they are in the USA who have all reviewed this website plus 'Parkfield Supplies' and 'Credit Lifter' and have only done those three reviews. Possible, but most unlikely.

Looks like a long scam, ie get some fake positive reviews for a couple of months and then start stealing in March...

This is a scam, had major problems with Malware from download files and my credit card that has never been used other than pay for this crap download has now been hacked! what a coincidence! police involved.

I ordered workshopmanual for my Skoda Octavia 2011. My payment method was PayPal. I emailed them my Paypal-account e-mail address and link to the manual I wanted. Then after payment via PayPal, I got return e-mail with downloadlink. The workshopmanual was already in PDF-files so it was ready for use.
Their online chat was very fast to response so I got all required information.
I can warmly recommend.

Bought a workshop manual for one of my vehicles, straight forward easy purchase and helpful support when i thought download was not working. Would recommend and will use again. Also rectified a bank error with the payment in a friendly timely manner Very good.

I purchased the manual online, and found out that one file was corrupt from the RAR.
Contacted the firm, no reply.
Suggest to stay away.

I bought several times from them, without a problem.

Would definitely recommend. Customer service and remote assistance were so helpful and timely. Excellent service!

Very pleased with the manual downloaded and certainly
greatfull for the fast response of any enquires when needed .

A++

Many thanks

Emanuel

I was a bit reluctant at first but I got what I was looking for, the size was bigger than I expected but it was not that big of a deal for me as I got what I needed. The support was there to help.

luckily read these reviews before parting with my cash, many thanks to all of you who posted a review.

Lesson learned - should have looked on here before committing - exactly as other comments - about 17GB of file downloads, the other software download to extract - really poor installation instructions - I gave up and deleted everything

Tried to download a manual for my vehicle only to discover it was very difficult to do, massive files and complicated to install, requiring BIOS amendment and additional software. Only to find at the end of the process, most of the information that claims to be in the manual was not accessible. Obtained partial refund but not impressed and wouldn't recommend to others.

Sadly people only ever check sites like this after they make a purchase from the likes of downloadworkshopmanuals. In my case the 'manual' was downloaded in 3 huge parts each taking several hours and then it was necessary to visit a 3rd party site for a program which should have 'glued' it all together, but that didn't work. The download links only last for 3 days and believe me it takes 3 days to discover what a crock it all is. Overall very disappointed to have been robbed by this outfit.
