Worst courier service by far
Online I gave the okay for a package to be delivered to a DPD Paketshop near me, because I wasn't in to receive it. Instead DPD delivers the package to a Paketshop which is 45 minutes walk (!) / 15 minutes drive away. What is the point if you're just going to deliver it miles away? Even when we're in the house, the drivers never bother to call at the door, or (even worse) they just drop valuable packages wherever they want on the street outside the house. Have had multiple DPD packages go missing. Worst courier service by far!

I wouldn’t rate this company even with 1 star, the worst service ever! Lots of packages are lost, never been found, maybe they just stealing them, customer support is terrible, they don’t know anything, each person gives different information and they never able to resolve anything. Lost of money and energy.

Lazy Couriers and Useless customer service who just lies to you. Claims parcelshop was full and cannot send my delivery, I visited the parcelshop and they said nobody from DPD even came.

I've honestly hadn't had a good experience with DPD delivery in years. Just now I am waiting for a package from Poland, a country that's literally neighbouring Lithuania (where I'm in), it's been a week since I ordered. First deadline was set for April 8th, then as I expected they moved it to April 9th, they set the status as getting ready to depart from Poland. An hour ago, I get in update, same as last time, that they are getting ready to ship out from Poland, and my deadline was changed to April 10th. Unacceptable. Last time I shipped with DPD, my package got lost somewhere, and so shipping in literally the same exact country as sender took around 2 weeks.

We did everything possible to enable delivery: we gave permission to leave the package outside, provided additional instructions via email, and even informed neighbors, a note on the door. Despite all this, the shipment was not delivered multiple times. This has been a very stressful and disappointing experience, and we still have not received the package. DPD is only telling us to request a refund instead of providing a solution for the delivery.
Scammers claiming to be from DPD after TEMU order
I just ordered products from TEMU, who uses DPD as their courier service in the Netherlands and as I mentioned in my TEMU review, the following issue regarding DPD has taken place:
After my order and delivery information was confirmed to be DPD, Scammers claiming to be from DPD texted me on the phone listed in the TEMU order. The Scammers claiming to be from DPD already knew my contact details, shipping address and delivery information. So there is certainty that my data was accessed inappropriately internally at TEMU and/or their systems or at their courier DPD. My contact delivery information was accessed without permission for illicit use internally by scammers claiming to be from DPD. The scammers texted me and asked me to click on a website with the courier link name ending in "dpd.caeinc.nl" and said that the package could not be delivered due to "incorrect address details". I am reporting Temu, DPD and this incident to GDPR and the relevant Dutch authorities.

Technical failure
Technical failure, customer service lies, and forced return!
Warning for everyone using DPD in the Netherlands. My package (13199110009432) arrived in Rotterdam on March 27th, but due to a technical error, I never received a pickup code.
I have done everything possible to collect my property:
I called support 3 times (March 28, 30, and April 1).
Every time, agents promised the code would be sent and assured me the package would stay in the locker. These were all LIES.
Yesterday, they ignored my calls and emails and started returning the package to Poland.
Today, support told me in Messenger that they "cannot stop the process" because the parcel is in the Veenendaal depot. This is unacceptable. The parcel is still in the Netherlands, and DPD simply refuses to fix their own mistake.
I refuse to pay for shipping again because of DPD's incompetence. This is 100% their fault. I demand immediate manual intervention to stop the return and provide my code! Avoid this company if you value your time and money.

The worst delivery company to exist
The worst delivery company to exist. I waste my time waiting at home specifically for a delivery to come from DPD but it never arrives in the date and time they say it will come! They claim to do a delivery attempt and say the recipient was not present at home which is completely false because I was present at home all day. They do not knock on the door or ring the door bell, they do not even call the recipient. Their drivers are obviously too lazy to deliver some parcels so they lie and note the parcel as “delivery attempted. Recipient not at home”.
A non-existent adress
I sat at home for two days waiting for the package. The app said delivery would take place between 11:55 and 12:55. After 12:55, the website updated the delivery information with the message: delivery could not be made due to a non-existent address.
Very unreliable service
They lost a rare package after one of their delivery guys kept the package for himself and marked it as delivered at 19 01 hours. This is my third package bought on vinted and lost by them. They should start vetting their delivery guys
DPD delivery problem
DPD. The worst. Time and time again their delivery people refuse to ring my doorbell. They just leave it on the doorstep. Unfortunately it will be stolen in a short time because of where I live. Asking the company for help is a waste of time. I’m home most of the time. Ring the doorbell, problem solved. If no answer DONT leave it on doorstep
Insurance is a scam - damaged delivery
My parents sent me a box with fragile content, such as fine china and plates from my grandmother. My dad paid extra for insurance on the parcel.
The package was unfortunately delivered to me with many broken pieces, despite the careful wrap, piece by piece, and the writings on the box specifying the content and its fragility.
My dad contacted dpd to report the damage and was told to provide receipts for the broken goods. They are plates from the 80s, there are obviously no receipts.
I contacted their customer service myself, explaining the situation and even did a research on the price of the broken pieces. I received an email asking me to submit the matter, after which I received again the same email. I had to re-explain the same issue over and over until they asked me to forward the issue to their “insurance” department.
After that, I have received no replies at all. The insurance email never cared to give me an answer, and the same customer service ignored me completely.
I’m sad because the content of the parcel had a personal value to me, and because my dad paid extra to ensure it, which was not useful at all since dpd is not refunding us any money.
I will never use dpd again for my deliveries, and I am thinking to proceed via legal ways, since their insurance was a complete scam.

Terrible customer service which applied…
Terrible customer service which applied absolutely no common sense. The vendor had recorded my postcode incorrectly by 1 digit which then showed a postcode that didn't exist. DPD would not send the driver (who was in the area) to my house despite them agreeing that the address I was giving to them was correct and that I could prove through order conformation email and photo ID that I was the right person. However, they would let me change the address myself online and wait a further 3 days for delivery. Mind blowing incompetence and bureaucracy.

I was expecting a package to be delivered
I was expecting a package to be delivered to my home, but I was told there was no safe place to leave it. This is frustrating because we were home the entire day. Now I’m being told that we have to come and pick it up ourselves, which is not acceptable.

£3000 pc delivered in reasonable time but chucked box on floor upside down. Even though box had the correct arrows on. Wow these are supposed to be professionals. I gave 2 stars as the delivery was fast.
