No mattress and no where to sleep!
The mattress does not fit up the stairs, only on delivery we’re we notified, no one asked us to check sizes on mattress on ordering. We now have a bed frame and no mattress. Correct mattress cannot be sent for 4 weeks, so no bed for weeks with 2 kids under 4 years old, this is a nightmare. After spending a material sum of money here, I would never ever shop here again and actively tell others to avoid at all costs. No compensation for the issues caused by them, rubbish.

i am sorry the mattress did not fit. Whilst I appreciate your frustration, Dreams cannot be held responsible for goods fitting into your property.
We do not know where the mattress is due to go, or the access points it will need to go through. Only you would know this.
On all new orders, Dreams will send your order confirmation, terms & conditions & a 'key facts' document. This document very clearly stipulates that you need to measure your property to ensure the goods fit.
The mattress you have reselected to is £150 more expensive, however Dreams have agreed to cover 50% of this value which i feel is a fair & reasonable offer in the circumstances.

Should have measured mattress!
Mattress is nice and white, lightweight and has 4 handles which are useful. It is a good inch smaller all round than my previous double though, so now there are gaps between the mattress and the bed frame. It's also not as deep so standard double sheets seem too big and saggy for this one? Not my best purchase and glad it was 50% off!

Excellent service throughout at every stage
The sales lady at Dreams in Stevenage was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help us decide which product was best for us. The contrast between her and other sales people we encountered elsewhere was really noticeable.
The delivery service were really helpful when we had to postpone our order due to being let down on the carpet delivery and really flexible all the way through. We were notified the evening before and on the day regarding timing of our delivery and the chaps that came were punctual, friendly and efficient.

Rude and aggressive staff
Really rude lady approached us when we had been in the store for less than a minute - very firm and aggressive as my son had tried out a bed with myself. It actually upset my son who is 6! We just left after that and went to Bensons which is 20 seconds away - who were incredible, kind and helpful.

Thank you for your recent review. I am sorry you are not getting on with your mattress. Dreams do understand that people will not always make the right choice first time around, and that the product can feel different to how it was in store etc.
It is for this reason that we offer our 100 night comfort guarantee. This enables you to swap the mattress for an alternative of your choice, up to 100 nights after delivery. If you are not getting on with the mattress, you are more than able to take advantage of this.
Usually we would insist upon the mattress being used for 30 nights, however I can see that you have spoken to our Customer Service team already, and we have agreed you can swap earlier than this is necessary.
Please go into your local store, let me know what you want to exchange to, and I can get this on order for you.
