Very sadded to give this such a low rating as i appreriate the privacy aspects but I am geniuenly appalled by the low quality of the browser itself, and at the end of the day. That IS its main purpose. It has a tendacy to give HIGHLY biased results that could geniuenly be dangerous and is not at all reliable in acquiring accurate information.

Very disappointed and have begun actively discouraging others from using it.

Spam is gone! but search results is not very precise, But i understand that if you dont,like Google have Cookies,Ads and search trackers and moore.... it takes time to build your database.....

The search results aren't always what I asked for but the protection features have resulted in a lot less spam. Using it now!

Well Was Good. Developers mess up. AI So stupid. Even told me to Delete App. Can Find or allow BlueSky.. cannot find it said. So stupid. Yes Have my setting right.

So deleted. I did like it. But if you cannot find a Major Social Media Site.. that very very Bad.

Any help in protecting personal data is better than nothing. I have been using the DDG website for several months and had no issues, it also gives statistics of what has been blocked which has been an eye opener of just how many sites grab personal data and who knows where that data then ends up, I will continue to use DDG for the foreseeable future.

I believe what I like most about DuckDuckgo is I can easily find websites I'm looking for while simultaneously blocking other search engines/companies and individuals from tracking (spying) me. I think others could learn a lot by simply studying how DuckDuckgo operates.

Ever since I and many others discovered that Google is scraping our data, we had to jet to other sites that don’t spy on us. After all, privacy and anonymity are very important.

There’s an auto-delete option for history & data everytime I exit the app.

seit der Blödsinnigen Änderung .. twink auf guys .. ist die Suche nach Modells .. zur Katastrophe geworden ..
wenn ich einen Mann suche .. zeigt mir die Ente ne nackte Frau ...
wechselt die Suchmaschine ... wenn das Geld weg bleibt ... bekommt man auch wieder die alten gewohnten Ergebnisse ..

this duck is not able to distinguish ... between man & woman ...
since the stupid change ... twink on guys ... the search for models ... has become a disaster ...
when I search for a man ... the duck shows me a naked woman ...
the search engine changes ... if the money stays away ... you get the old familiar results again ...

I love the idea of this but the integration is just not there yet. All my passwords are on Google - problem. Some sites don't load - problem. Using gmail links to DDG don't always work - problem.
So, I have taken it off default and returned to google. Its a shame, but just too much hassle having to do things multiple times when google is mostly seamless.

Once I make this comment to DuckDuckGo and attempt to return it by email. Your site requires a secret four digit number. That’s lovely but when one attempts to place that somewhere the original comment as well as the email to duck Gogo is gone gone, however that does cut down on the comment, doesn’t it?

It is a good browser BUT don't use their VPN free service. It slowed down all my apps and slowed disasterly sending images via texts, and often prevented phone calls (I got several messages that I had "no service").
After removing the VPN, everything I do on my phone (Samsung A54, 5G) is super fast.

This browser is the best in this world.i have ever use. I want to recommend try this you will know tast.

DuckDuckGo has DuckDuckGone to hell. What used to be my go to browser has descended into the depths of hell. It takes forever to load, it is slow and clunky, and an overall nightmare. Rest in peace Old DuckDuckGo and Go the H--L new DuckDuckGone.

Duckduckgo blocks Gaia website, they block my connection to my gaia account.

I was happy to find a browser that blocked tracking, but the search results are extremely limited and disappointing. If I don't have a specific brand request, they just send the same five or six results (most likely those who paid to be on top) and no other results come up. They also ignore the specific search parameters. All I get is Amazon over and over and various Chinese brand options on shopping searches. On blog searches such as recipes, I get the same five results, on repeat, even if I go five or six pages deep.

Spent 30 minutes trying to download - would not install - THREE SIMPLE STEPS they said - could not get past step 2! Funny how all these types of sites advertise how EASY AND SIMPLE IT IS TO INSTALL their wonderful product and then you discover it was all BS and the sites end up getting a lowsy rating!

Not Private At All!

It trades on its privacy functionality but that's absolute nonsense. I found all my duck history all over my Google search!

Can't load more than half of the internet searches. Can't open email attachments. Terrible platform.

This search engine simply cannot read. Basic English, simple search. It is obviously paid off by the powers that be, hides all elites crimes, hides all political crimes, hides the truth. Very biased and protects and or hides for the worst criminals of society.
My 3 year old son can read better than anyone at DDG and it's 2025 now OMG They said Technology will improve everything yet Duck duck go Bing and Google go backwards 50 years and can't read anything as well as a 3 year old child.
