Great customer service

I just had my driving test at the Mill Hill test Centre in London with Sirish. He was professional, courteous and managed to put me at ease when I was feeling very anxious. Thank you Sirish for managing to calm me down! You’re a credit ☺️

Rochdale test centre

Ridiculous waiting times, there's nothing available in my area until the end of May 2025! Is this a joke? I have 3 test centers in my area, and none of them have any earlier availability.
This not accommodating at all. Selling the available slots to 3rd parties for them to sell them for even more money is disgusting practice.

I didn't pass my test with a lady called Louise. She's apparently well-known in the area for being a panicky person (how you can employ a panicky person as an examiner is a mystery to me). She made the atmosphere quite tense and unpleasant. She had a very timid voice, so I had to ask her to repeat herself every time she gave me directions.
When I was taking a left turn through a yellow box there was a car coming that was over 25 seconds away and was going under 30 mph, I was the first car in line and I had plenty of time to turn, yet she slammed the break like crazy and tells me I should've waited (it then took another 15 seconds for the car to come near the yellow box, I would've already been gone from the yellow box by the time the car would be on it). What a joke.

Overall really disappointed with this whole experience. Hopefully next time I'll pass

Two pieces of feedback here, DVSA are Corrupt

Two pieces of feedback here,
I completed my driving test last April 2024, the test was going brilliantly, no mistakes, on the final hurdle, 4-5 mins from the finishing line, i kept extra focus, i came to 5 exit lane roundabout, the sat nav asked me to take the first left, which i did, i done all the checks, indicated, the whole 9 yards, all was going well, until examiner, reached across, and said you are in the wrong lane, within this split second, i moved over onto the correct lane, there was two lanes on exit one, i herard from the sat nav, take the first exit, i did not here take the first exit, and then move over straight away to the right lane, so when she reached across towards me, and said what she said, it completely through me off to the point, of me moving over to the right without checking properly the mirrors, this split second, caused someone to come behind me, and beep me, which resulted in a major, and that was game over!!, when i took the fiirst exit, and stayed in the left hand lane, even though the sat nav, said for me to then go into the right lane, the examiner should not have reached out towards me, with a raised voice, she put me completely off, she should have left me in the left lane, and then put me down as a minor, for not listening properly to the sat nav, as i was causing no accidents, and i was doing all the checks by the book,

feedback number 2,
booking a driving test in london, is the same as passing the test, because its so insanely stupid to even get a test booked in, WTF is going on!!

This afternoon,i logged on, i seen there was available tests in a location near to me, i clicked on the date on the dvsa calender, entered my bank details, clicked the final check out button, took me about 90 seconds, upon checking out, and confirming payment, a white screen appeared, saying there was a problem with the system.

I checked my bank acc, dvsa had taken my money, but there was no test booking confirmation,

i called them up, they said, somebody, must have booked it before me, and my money will be giving back to me in 5 working days, bearing in mind, all tests that were available today, tomorrow they will have been all taken, its beyound a fecking joke! if you are let on that something is available when it isnt this is fecking infuriating! This is day light robbery, why should i have to wait 5 fecking days to get my money back, for their incompetence , within this time, all tests will have gone, why would i pay again, not knowing if the same situation will happen again, i have looked into the citizen advice bureau, and it says the following, AI Overview

Can't get a test booked in for any…

Can't get a test booked in for any date. They are apparently all fully booked & there are no slots at any time. Upon contacting the DVSA I was informed that it's essentially pot luck to get a test in this day & age. I shouldn't have to wait months for a test after booking it in. The backlog of tests due to covid is a lie, covid was 5 years ago !! Just an excuse for driving centers to sell their slots to third party companies. THE DVSA is a scam

One rule for some and another rule for others!!!

I’d score it a zero if I could. My examiner was so unfair she failed me because I was travelling at 25MPH at a 30MPH road, when it was safe to do so. (Weather condition, parked cars on both side). The DVSA itself, is a complete scam The examiner is more likely to be extraordinary strict with you, if you come a BAME community, than if you come from any other background. As for the booking online system; apparently there are agents whom the DVSA are aware of, who they sell test dates at very high price and then it get resold at even higher prices to learner drivers.

scam

I have spent over 3000 pounds on leaning with instructors and instructors need to be advised and checked how they making money from their customer and then making them do wrong lessions and scamming their students out of money the government needs to be put a check on this, also I got two female instructors who failed me I requested it so many times to the government dvsa and they emailed to say I can change the lady, but if they know why they keep giving me a female and all 20 people had all male, I had such a bad experience with these women the second one said I had no hands on steering wheel Gof forbidd my hands never leave thay wheel and I'm too safe on the road I'm.a good driver and I was driving like a pro and I still failed. I was being lied to and money is being taken lots if it from students. I think the theory should be free and the tests should be free. It's money making business something is not right here I'm sure the government is taking some kinds of funds back from each individual for no reason when they shloud pass first time. it's vary rare u see any poor person pass first time. Its a huge scamm and then you don't get no dates for ur test when you fail so why have they only given 2 years to pass test bit stupid, because yiu have to wait 4 months a time to tey and get a date for a test if ur theory runs out u have retake and pay urself again because 9f the scamm company who gives date for test we work Hard to get somewhere not throw money at some scamm company. Only the ones that pass will talk good but the ones that failed made the effort paid tons of money they are like targets I'm wondering if it's really a scam

Roberto (examiner) & paul (centre director) isleworth

I had my test at isleworth is 10 September 2024 with roberto. Roberto came out Of his office and did not address me not at once. He had his back to me and Said my name not even bothering to look until I met him at the furthest table to me. Nonetheless, I carried on. We went outside to the car and asked which one which were using today and I pointed out our car. He then asked is my instructor gonna be coming with us today and I said yes. Little did I know things would take a turn from here.

I enter the car. I thought it was weird because Roberta told me to press on the break. I’m assuming to see if the break lights were working. Both my instructor and I in the car thought it was weird but nonetheless he took a note of this and from the previous not addressing me, we thought this was weird however we just carried on.
Throughout the test, I followed all instructions and remained confident. I’m familiar with the area, have practiced extensively, and used multiple resources—my car’s satnav, road signs, floor markings—to ensure I adhered to speed limits, especially between 20 mph and 30 mph zones. I made note of which roads are 30 mph, frequently checked my speedometer, and maintained the correct speed throughout.

Roberto claims I failed for speeding or irregular speed, but that’s completely false. I know I didn’t exceed the limits, and my satnav, road signs, and road markings back that up. My instructor, who was in the car, can also confirm that I was not holding up traffic on Twickenham Road to Syon Lane by going 20 mph. Wrong!!
I then spoke to paul pedrick the next day. He spoke on the phone with my instructor and heard him out on the day.
In our discussion, Paul reiterated that, after speaking with Roberto, he believes I did not perform well during the test, which is why I failed. While I accept the result if it is based on my driving performance, I still feel I wasn’t treated fairly or with impartiality, and I did not feel Paul was being understanding of my concerns. For me, the issue is that I did not drive at 20 mph on a 30 mph road, as Roberto claimed. I adjusted my speed and did not exceed 30 mph, maintaining the flow of traffic as required. There is no specific rule that states I must drive between 25 and 30 mph at all times—it’s merely a guideline. I drove according to the flow of traffic and in accordance with the conditions of the road.

Despite the result, I will not be bullied into accepting a narrative that Roberto and Paul is trying to push. Whilst I can accept that I the result was unsuccessful and there is no changing that result, I know my own performance, and I’ve invested time, effort, and money into this process, so I cannot simply accept what I believe to be incorrect feedback. While this may be just another day at work for Roberto, this is my life, and it deeply affects me.

During our conversation, Paul mentioned, “there’s nothing I can say to make you feel better about your test” and something along the lines of “you did not perform well, and Roberto along will all examiner base a driving test amongst performance.” While I accept the outcome and can understand how hard it must be to be an examiner, I did not call to feel better or get get comfort from Paul, but to have a conversation where my frustrations could be heard and acknowledged. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I am simply a customer, while Paul and Roberto hold power in this situation, and it feels as though my concerns are being dismissed without proper consideration.

I feel as though well roberto failed me simply because he had an altercation with my instructor and didnt like being told about himself. My instructor only said to him hes been doing this a long time and he didnt have his id on him (which I didnt think was necessary to provide but ?) but nonetheless he can provide it, my instructor also said dont ruin the test for me because he was kicking up a fuss over id which he could present after the test. Roberto replied something like “youve already ruined it for her” which he did fail me but I only had 3 minors and the serious fault being appropiate speed but this was also one of my minors so how can it be both a minor and serious but his reasoning was because It was the whole of syon lane ??

Paul also said that apparently it was every time the speed changed i was driving at 20. So the whole of my driving test i was driving at 20??

They both are unprofessional and cant even get their stories straight. Isleworth is a joke !!
