Customers frequently complained about being locked into long-term contracts and facing extreme difficulties when trying to cancel their subscriptions. Many consumers noted that the service provided very little value, leaving them feeling trapped in expensive agreements. Yet another bad review I am afraid

Yet another bad review I am afraid. Since I last wrote a bad review ( 2 months ago) I have not had even ONE visitor to my profile. This is not a like or a conversation, this is a simple VISIT, i.e. someone just looking at my profile. This is in spite of my search parameters being quite broad, and my living close to London where the population is obviously as significant as possible. DO NOT JOIN. The choice is very limited. I am not even convinced they have any subscribers at all!

eHarmony scam

I have read and reviewed all what these so call people talk about eHarmony don't join them I think they are scam artists that take your money a leave you dry. Don't be the victim like my husband he is married and he went on eHarmony with out me knowing it but I found out on his cellphone that he put out his email account and password I hope he is not stupid enough to give information to eHarmony his credit card and his bank card. The last time he did this it was from another dating websites and what that website did took some of the money outside of his account and the had to freeze his account and start all over again.so every one out there be aware of what you see on your phone makes sure you investigate and do your research before you download the app don't be gullible like my husband the website can take you for granted.

A COMPLETE SCAM! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

THIS APP IS A COMPLETE SCAM! eHarmony is by far the worst dating site I have ever experienced and their “customer care” is simply non-existent.

I paid £289 for a so-called “Premium” membership for six months. My experience turned out to be one of total frustration. The platform is awash with fake profiles which fundamentally undermines the credibility and value of the service. Profiles frequently disappeared after I made contact with them, and on other occasions profiles were removed by eHarmony after they contacted me. Despite having my settings to ‘worldwide’, on many days I was presented with only one or two members to browse, or none at all. The platform was wholly unreliable, frustrating and impossible to use with any confidence.

I contacted their so-called “Customer Care” only to receive short, generic, AI-generated responses that completely ignored the details of my complaint. I provided evidence of the unreliable nature of the platform only to be told to contact Apple, which was complete nonsense as the payment was made to eHarmony UK Ltd and Apple was simply the payment merchant. Requests for a refund were ignored.

eharmony is nothing but a scam. DO NOT give them your money - you will regret it.

This is a joke site

This is a joke site, they put you on a premium deal without letting you know and even when you meet someone, you still have to pay the 11 months, grossly unfair and frankly just robbers!

DANGER!!! Thieves, scammers!! Avoid!!

Signing up for eharmony is one of the biggest financial mistakes a person can make, and anyone considering it needs to know that this company operates like absolute thieves. They reel you in with the promise of finding a serious relationship, but their actual business model is a predatory trap designed to lock you into a massive financial commitment you cannot escape. They trick you by displaying what looks like a manageable monthly fee, but what they completely bury in the fine print is that you are actually signing an ironclad one-year or two-year contract. Even if you realize within the first few weeks that the app is completely useless, you are stuck paying for the entire year, and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.
The platform itself is a complete waste of money. You pay an incredibly steep price for a service that feels totally dead and entirely broken, yet they keep draining your bank account month after month. It is infuriating to watch your hard-earned money leave your account for something you haven’t touched in months and have absolutely no intention of using again. They make it incredibly easy to take your card details, but the moment you try to walk away because the product is garbage, they completely lock down the exits.
If you try to reach out to their customer service to explain your situation, you will face a total brick wall. Their email support doesn't care about customer satisfaction or fairness at all; they only care about taking your money. You can send back-and-forth emails explaining that you don't use the app and asking them to stop the billing, but they will completely ignore your pleas and just copy-paste their rigid terms and conditions at you. They will even happily let you delete your profile if you ask, but they will stubbornly continue to charge your credit card for the remaining months of the contract. They are modern-day scammers hiding behind corporate policies, and anyone looking for love should avoid them at all costs before they end up paying hundreds of pounds for absolutely nothing.

AVOID!

AVOID!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Poor quality, they try to persuade you to compromise on your preferences if you’re not getting many responses. I’ve even had sexually explicit messages, and this is on a paid site. Customer services are abysmal and usually auto generated responses. They tie you into a 6 month contract (this is the minimum term) and if you try to cancel early you still have to pay the remaining balance. I tried a paid site as I thought it’d be a better service - stick to the free ones!!

This service is dead

This service is dead, very few people use it now and it only serves as a subscription scam. Cancelling is impossible until you've paid through the nose to use their nonexistent service. Do not waste your money on them.

Just not enough daters to be worth while.

It's not a terrible platform from a technical point of view. It's just woeful in terms of volume of subscribers. It simply just does not have the traffic to be viable. Even cancelling in the cool off period is an expensive mistake. No wonder paid memberships are minimum 6 months.

Overall Horrible Experience, Avoid them

Overall Horrible experience on the site. My advice do not join unless you want to loose your money. Its all a scam. When I joined, I kept getting loads of emails about potential matches every day with blurred face. So I decided to subscrib to reply my messages. Few weeks in. The matches all disappeared. They are all AI generated and fake. I asked for 6 month refund from my 12 month payment for me to leave immediately, they said NO.
I did not have one single chat that lasted 10 minutes on the app, these faces are not real. Please avoid them like a plague. It's a scam paraded as a legitimate business. Government need to investigate then.

Do not bother absolute waste of money

Do not bother absolute waste of money , informed them I wasn’t happy due to lack of photographs that surely should be mandatory .
Very little profiles within search area .
I complained saying I would like a goodwill gesture as I was not happy, and wasted money. They then cancelled my subscription and refunded me £30 but I had not requested them to do this - no apologies!
I paid to go on the site for 2 days and this is absolutely disgraceful service just sent me a link with 60% off - why would I bother when I’d just lost my money .
Do not waste your money !
