Hi Olena,

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy with the information shown on your report.

When a query is raised, we need to allow time for the lender to investigate and provide a response. As soon as we receive an outcome, we'll be in touch to let you know the result and any updates that may be made to your report.

I have also sent you an email with further information regarding the points you've raised. Please refer to that email for the latest guidance and next steps.

Thanks,
Stefan.

Time it Takes to Get a Report.

The process of getting a report is too long winded in this modern day instant communication world.

Hi John,

Thank you for your feedback. I can understand why the process feels too long in a world where so many things are available instantly.

If you’d like immediate access to your credit information, you can order a statutory report. This can be provided either by post or through a PIN that allows you to access it online.
Alternatively, you can access your credit report through a CreditExpert membership. If you haven’t used it before, a 30-day free trial may be available, allowing you to view your report online straight away.

Your comments are appreciated and help highlight where customers would like a quicker and more streamlined experience.
Thanks,
Stefan.

SALES TOOL

This SALES TOOL constanly strives to lower your score depite low credit card borrowing (single figure credit utilisation), no missed payments in serveral years and borrowing consistently decreasing year on year

And

Its always 2 months out of date anyway

USELESS AND PATHETIC

Oh no. I took out a new phone contract at 50% of the price of my last one: experian - thats a hard search and worthy of punishment so your credit score is coming RIGHT DOWN FOR DEFINITE!!!!!!!!! It looks better on other credit reference agencies though, on transunion its excellent whereas you just lowered it from very good to good. experian - dont care our aim is too give the lowest score possible and keep lowering it

Hi, Jason.

I'm sorry to hear you feel this way. I can understand why it would be frustrating to see your score decrease when you've been managing your credit well, keeping borrowing low, and making payments on time.

Your Experian score is based on the information available on your credit report at the time and can change when new information is received. Different credit reference agencies may also show different scores, as they may hold different information and use different scoring models.

In terms of updates, lenders typically provide information every 6 to 8 weeks, which is why your report may not always reflect the most recent activity straight away. We're also unable to change information on a credit report without confirmation from the lender that supplied it.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and I'm sorry the service hasn't met your expectations.

Thanks,
Stefan.

£14.99 a month for my credit report that’s not actually an updated reflection of my credit. I wouldn’t bother as trying to speak to them is near on impossible. Looking to check your credit report? I’d use transunion instead

Hi, Simon.

I'm sorry to hear this has been your experience. I can understand why it would be frustrating to pay for a service and feel that your report isn't reflecting the most recent changes to your credit information.

Updates to your credit report depend on when lenders send us new information. Most lenders update every 6 to 8 weeks. We're unable to change or remove information ourselves without confirmation from the lender, as they are responsible for the data they provide.

I can see we've now sent a final response regarding your query. As a paid member, you can also call us through the app or website, and any of our agents will be happy to help if you have any further questions.

Thanks,
Stefan.

Experian is unprofessional

After receiving a printed credit report, it was impossible to get someone to change a 2 to a 1 in my previous address, because Experian kept emailing me instructions to change the incorrect details via an account, and kept ignoring the fact that my credit report request was a one-off request, and I don’t have an Experian account. Eventually, Experian decided to forward my unresolved simple request to a Customer Relations Case Manager, who corrected the original error, but then went on to make previously correct information incorrect regarding the disputed address details elsewhere in my credit report three times, and added duplicated postcodes all over my credit report, and changed another address from Flat B to simply the number 2, for no logical reason, and now refuses to correct the incorrect information I informed her about. She also stated I made the original mistake in my request for a credit report, but Experian don't even keep these requests on file, according to the Customer Relations Case Manager. So, at this rate, next step, Ombudsman... Nobody is correcting the incorrect information. Addendum following Experian reply: I have already requested changes to the SECOND credit report generated, following the request to change one single number from 2 to 1 on the first credit report, and the second credit report was where the original error was added another THREE times, plus multiple irrational additional changes. As I previously stated, I will have to contact the Ombudsman. Experian does not care at all about either customer satisfaction or accuracy or professionalism.

Hi Carole,
I'm sorry to hear this has been frustrating. I understand why you'd be disappointed, particularly as this started as a simple address correction.
In cases like this, it can often be resolved by requesting a new Statutory Credit Report and ensuring all the details entered on the request form are correct and up to date.
I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and I'm sorry this hasn't been the straightforward experience you expected.
Thanks,
Stefan.

I recently applied for a loan and was supplied with several credit scores of my own .the highest was with experian. Followed by equifax and the lowest transuion . Together they are considered the big three. Experian being headquartered in the UK is interesting when the other two is in the USA . The vast difference of the scores leaves many questions but I want to thank experian.

Hello, Aaron.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.

We understand your concern regarding the item in your report and the lack of follow-up so far. I appreciate that you would like a response, and as soon as we're able to, we will contact you back.

When we raise a query on your behalf, we have 28 days for us to give you a response. It is usually quicker than this.

This is because the information on your report is owned by the company and it's up to them if we can change it or not.

That said, I hope you hear back soon and that this will all be resolved for you.

Thanks, Stuart.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate you sharing your experience.

We understand your surprise regarding the addition of a Password Notice of Correction. When it comes to this type of addition to your report, we have to take steps to ensure we're keeping your data safe and secure.

I'm glad our team could assist you as swiftly as possible. That said, your feedback helps us improve our services.

Thanks, Stuart.
