Seller does not have all spare parts in stock
Seller does not have all the spare parts in stock and does not make this transparent on the website. So u might end up ordering sth they can not deliver. Also pricing is not so competetive as 21 % VAT Tax is added at check out only + huge delivery costs. In my case it would be cheaper and less headache to buy it a Mercedes.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience with us. I want to iterate on all the issues you've mentioned and what we are currently doing about them:
1. Adding 21% VAT on checkout
As we are trading globally, we have to consider every customer who might buy from us. Depending on the country, EU rules dictate when we should add VAT. Countries that are outside of the EU don't need to pay VAT, and one of our initial decisions was not to factor it into our prices. Recently we've discovered that this behaviour confuses some of our customers, that will see VAT on the checkout page.
Our engineers are currently working to take into account each country and adapt prices based where customers are. Soon this problem will be solved, and you will see correct prices on the product page itself.
Updated: we now show correct prices that include VAT on the product page, so you always have an accurate price while browsing our stock.
2. Parts that we don't have in stock
Our stock includes more than 4M parts. We work with dealers to serve all of those parts to customers in the best possible way. Unfortunately, OEM part dealers do not have systems and the ability to give online availability for the available stock. We can only get provisional inventory at specific times. When an order comes in, we manually request the availability of each car part. This request has to be validated by a human. If any of the pieces were returned as no longer in stock or discontinued, we remove it from our website so that it won't be visible for the next customer.
3. Delivery costs
We have a variety of shipping methods available. Our shipping rates depend on the weight and country of delivery and how quick we can surface each part from the dealer's warehouses. In the current situation with COVID-19, it is hard to keep prices and times at the level it was before the global pandemic. When the world gets back to normal, we tend to re-review our shipping methods and partners.
Updated: we've added additional shipping method, that is significantly cheaper, but takes a bit longer to ship.
