We have banned many of your accounts. We do ban accounts from time to time, and this will relate to a breach or perceived breach of Flippa’s Terms of Service. We do this vigilantly as a way of maintaining and protecting a global and vibrant marketplace. Refunds have been processed for any listing package fees where listings were live at the time of your account ban.
We may permanently remove Flippa account access when we determine there are serious ethical violations and/or those of our Terms of Service. These include, but are not limited to:
- links to previously sanctioned accounts
- shill bidding to artificially increase the sale price
- intent to take deals outside Flippa
- self-promotional or abusive messages
- false claims of identity, false claims of performance, or ownership of listed assets or other listing integrity issues
- excessive lost disputes
We don’t share the specific reason but you can be rest assured that we only ban customers where we are substantially concerned about the actions that have taken place.

Great experience so far
Overall since we've been selling on Flippa we never had any major issues although the experience is not perfect and there are areas where improvements could be made, nevertheless, I saw Flippa addressing the issues and improving.
1. In the cases of unresponsive buyers, or when the buyer clearly writes or indicates that he is not willing to follow through with the purchase, there could be a faster track to cancel the transaction other then waiting 48hours to formally file a dispute and t hen waiting for the buyer's response who is already off the platform which could cost the seller money for the upkeep of the asset and opportunity costs.
2. While until this point we had an overall positive experience with response times, our business was prompted for a review, which is perfectly fine, I just wish they would keep communicating with us more since the issue is persisting for 2 weeks now during which we are unable to sell or tell anything to our potential buyers and we are still waiting for further communications.
3. At some point, the website was riddled with scammers who were trying to buy websites with Shopify payments or other payment gateways enabled and these people are probably using these sites for nefarious reasons. I saw the decline of these so Flippa probably addressed them.
