Sold my business pretty fast
Overall good experience. I managed to sell my business in 3 months. I had Ashwin as a broker which was nice as it was my first time and he handled the listing, the informations needed and the talks with potential buyers.
Flippa get things done.
The only negative thing I have to say is the way they charge you is based on their evaluation and their valuation is always very high so they can charge you more for the fixed fees. And even if your selling price is 3 times lower than than your valuation, you don’t get a refund on the initial fixed fees. I don’t think it’s fair. But for the rest of highly recommend flippa and I will be selling other businesses for sure in the future

They don't offer due diligence service advertise after all
I click the button to get more information on the Verification and Assessment service being offered for $2500. The request went into a black hole for days and I had to reach out multiple times to get a response. When I replied back, it went into another black hole for several more days. Finally they sent me a list of 3rd party due diligence vendors. So I guess they don't offer the service after all. Don't advertise anything on your website if you have no intention of offering it.
Also, you can't trust the icons next to the listing that say Flippa certified. I submitted an LOI and the seller did not have the basic financials prepared at all. So how did Flippa verify this? Answer: they did not.

In this instance, your request was slightly different from the standard process, as it related to an acquisition taking place outside of the Flippa marketplace. Our in-house Verification & Assessment service is designed specifically for listings hosted on Flippa. Because this was an off-platform purchase, we instead provided a list of third-party due diligence providers as an alternative so you could still obtain independent verification support.
That said, the delay in communication you experienced is not the level of service we aim to deliver, and we apologize for the frustration caused.
Regarding the Flippa Verified indicators, these badges relate to specific verification checks completed on certain listing elements (such as traffic integrations or financial data connections where applicable). They are not a guarantee of investment quality nor a substitute for a Buyer’s independent due diligence, which remains an essential part of any acquisition process and is clearly recommended within our Terms of Service.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will use the feedback to improve clarity around the service scope and response times moving forward.

I've been working with Flippa for a while now and can absolutely recommend them. 👍
The platform itself is great, but what quickly stood out to me are the Advisors that support you with selling your business. They have some fantastic people, which really sets them apart from other platforms.
So I thought I'd point that out in my review:
In my case my Advisor was called Daisy. In our initial call she immediately struck me as quite knowledgeable and experienced.
Over the months she has navigated hundreds of messages and requests from potential buyers, gave me great feedback on strategy and was really invested in the sale. I was quite impressed and after a while I realised how impossible this would have been without her.
Overall a great experience. Props to Flippa

I used Flippa to sell a website
I used Flippa to sell a website. I provided all of the stats and financial information that was required and eventually found a serious buyer who was interested. (Thus the award of the two stars for managing the contact.) We agreed on a staged payment system, with an initial payment and then another by the end of the year. Once the initial payment was made, Flippa took the entire commission due to them and then promptly removed access to our sales dashboard. (Luckily the buyer was honest and we had built up a good relationship, so the sale continued as planned without the help of Flippa.)
