a) Rude customer service
b) Unclear coverage during need. My bed broke while shifting house. Both the houses had so called folksam coverage.They said a) Talk to moving company , b) Talk to furniture company, c) Talk to anyone but us
So why should i pay you, to listen to your bad customer service ?

Rude and terrible customer service
The lady who answers to english inquiries was so rude. A lot of times, she kept cutting off my sentences and chose not to listen to what I was trying to explain. She was impolite and impatient. I can’t imagine dealing with this kind of customer service for all the times I need to reach out about our insurances. It was a terrible experience. 😔 And I would say, worst encounter I had so far here in Sweden.

Folksam insurance is a waste
I took accident and health insurance with Folksam for my children. My son had a home accident in 2020 which resulted in temporary inability to use his eye sight for a couple of days. I contacted Folksam and they said they’ll pay for his drugs when they know that prescriptions are free for children in Sweden, Folksam also claimed they would investigate and make a payment after one year which they didn’t. I contacted them again for it this year, and they said they’ll investigate and pay in 5 years. Folksam has successfully wriggled their way out of making payments for claims and this one that they couldn’t sweep under the carpet, they’ve continued to postpone just so they won’t pay anything. It’s really awful!

Does not cover theft of 'desirable items' I was told. So anything likely to be stolen is not covered... 100% useless insurance. Go with Trygghansa instead.

Reliable insurance company
Folksam is a reliable insurance company which has great packages for home or pet insurance. Car/motorcycle insurance is completely different story since they are much more expensive compared with their competitors.

Not good any longer
Refused to compensate me for my damaged luggage and refered me to terms and conditions of the contract and to run after the airline who is not giving me a response after 3 months still! Folksam have set all the conditions to their favour to rip the customer off.
Not recommending to take any "Reseförsäkring" with Folksam and due to impolite and super slow and useless customer service I do not recommend doing any business with Folksam!
