Absolutely amazing quality!
Absolutely amazing quality! I ordered the Pardon Bed and am so pleased with it.
The design is lovely, is very unique and I can tell it’s going to last forever.
I am already eyeing up other furniture bits.
If I was to leave any negative comment was that the delivery was left outside and they could not assist bringing it in. I’m only 5ft and would have struggled on my own.

Bought twice from here
Bought twice from here, an oak mantel beam and also some floating shelves. I love both and really happy with the quality! The instructions were easy enough to follow for installation and the website also gives you information on which wall type is suitable for their products. I’m always getting compliments from family and friends on them!

Attic bed
I ordered a bed it was beautiful but the wrong size. I wanted to swap it for a smaller model. Funky Chunky were really helpful and we swapped the beds no problem. And all this over the difficult Christmas/ NewYear period! The new attic bed fits perfectly. So easy to assemble too.

Great product - shame about the AI responses and lack of after care
**Update**
Feel I need to update this review to let people know that the wax finish they have used is rubbing off onto my bed sheets, I have ruined three sets now as the wax does not come off in the wash.
They have responded basically saying this is to be expected as it is a natural material. They say I should use carpet cleaner on my bedsheets and also buff off any excess wax myself to prevent any transfer of wax to fabrics.
The first stock response was the same advice but for furniture rubbing on carpets so this is obviously a common issue with their products.
Still love the bed, the aftercare is lacking
Great product
Returning customer here having ordered a dining table and coffee table several years ago we came right here when it was time for a new bed.
I love tactile things so a big chunk of wood suits me just great.
Solid bit of craftsmanship and looks absolutely as expected. Can not pass any negative comments on the item itself.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the order was quite delayed.
Ordered a bed on the 30th November just before moving house and communicated with FCF directly to ascertain when the item would arrive so we could plan. We were given an arrival date of 29th December but the item did not get booked to arrive until the 21st January (we had communicated that it absolutely had to arrive by the 20th January at the lastest but this was deemed not possible.
Due to it arriving on the 21st we then had to delay receiving the bed by a few more days as it was absolutely (as communicated), not possible to take delivery on the 21st.
The bed arrived well packaged on a sturdy pallet and the delivery driver dropped it as close to the front door as he could.
It's heavy and two strong people are advised to take in the delivery for good reason.
Assembly was as simple as you could possibly imagine, they make it easy.
Would I order again from FCF, yes absolutely ( I want to order an oak mantle). The time frame was not great and despite not achieving my cut off date for them the communication was good and professional.

Bad experience with shipping and delivery
Pandom bed I ordered is beautiful and made from really solid wood and looks fantastic, low bed I really wanted however I had a problem with shipping as I got email before I ordered that shipping is free but charged me £85 which I wasn't happy with that... email was clearly saying that shipping over £100 is free but it wasn't... Then I suppose to get email with confirmation with 2 hours slot when the bed will be delivered but I didn't, delivery man just showed up with bed on pallets and I didn't have nobody at home to help and I was standing in the rain begging delivery man to help me as I live on my own... really bad experience with shipping and delivery... not happy as company let me down twice and didn't do anything about this...

The delivery time was superb, especially as item was made to order. The craftsmanship and quality of our bed is amazing. So solid, hefty and chunky. Better than expected and exactly what we were looking for. The bed was well packaged and protected and clear instructions made it a sinch to piece together. No corners are cut with this company.

Exceptionally good furniture
Funky Chunky Furniture make exceptional pieces. We have enjoyed their Chopwell table and benches for a few years now and it looks as good as new. Definitely built to last. We've recently added to our collection by purchasing the Coleridge 3 drawer TV unit. It's stunning. Although it took a while to get to us, the delivery was good and the unit came very well wrapped. I ordered a mantel over a week ago, based on 5 days lead time to make and 2 days delivery. Contacted customer service but they don’t have a clue what’s going on - they just keep quoting their original lead time and telling me it’s taking longer than usual so likely won’t be with us for a long time (over a another week at least)
