Pompous, Arrogant, Abusive & I Dare Say, Liars

Absolutely one of the most repulsive, physically sickening places I've EVER, in ALL my 67 years on this Earth, encountered!
Months ago, I went to the store (60 miles and hours of driving away) to look for a wheel for a cart that only they sell. The pompous, arrogant sales thing was as condescending as could be, as if I'd disturbed a private party or rest break, told me "We don't have any." So I asked if their other store, some miles away, might have. It got on the phone and called, told me that yes, "they have one". ONE? OK... I gave it a try.
Not only did the other store not "have ONE", they had NONE! Wasted time and gas.
Just recently contacted them by e-mail, via their web-site, gave them the full description of the cart and asked if I could order a replacement wheel.
The reply? I'm going to give a "copy/paste" quote:

I have found that a local bike shop may be able to solve the wheel dilemma.

An "ORDER"? I didn't place and "order", I asked for information. "Contact information"? WHAT? Obviously they have the "contact information" because they replied to my inquiry.

How I almost wish I could post the words, adjectives and truly despicable wishes and hopes I have for EVERYONE even remotely associated with this schlock operation.

You'd have to be one low individual to find any redeemable quality about this place.

Oh, and the "wheel"? Since Gardeners makes the carts, the wheels aren't "standard size", nor is the axle, so you can't just go out and buy any old wheel to replace the defective part. (I used to wonder why I'd seen so many of them at the local dump, often missing a wheel, if not some other part. Now I know: Pay 400$ to use until... Once one part goes, your 400$ is gone as well.)

On top of everything else, looks like they can appropriately be classified as "thieves" because, well, it's all obviously intentional. (As they say in social media: hash-tag ProveMeWrong.)

Going to Consumer Affairs, Consumer Protection and the Better Business Bureau with this now. I've taken MORE than enough abuse.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

HORRIBLE, INEFFECTIVE AND INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
My credit card number was used for an unauthorized transaction for $10.59. I immediately called to fix it and the guy i spoke to was very helpful, or so i thought. After giving him all if the info he requested, I was told that the order was canceled and my money would go back to my card. One week later & still no refund so I call back. Now I'm being told that the man I spoke with shouldn't have told me what he did (?!?) and that my money cannot be refunded until I talk to my bank (always fun)-basically I'll have to go through the nightmare of getting a new card. I've been patiently waiting all week just to find out NOTHING IS HAPPENING! I want to scream. Now i have to choose if $10.59 is worth the headache but i really don't want them keeping it...
THEY NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER AND ALL AGENTS NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB

Unbelievably poor service

Unbelievably poor service from this company. I ordered a planter box in April, which it said would be delivered in May. In May, I emailed them and they said it will ship later than expected, with a new date of 6/25.

On 6/27 I emailed them for an update, to which they replied "your order should ship on 7/2 at the latest". Of course, by now the planter wouldn't be much good for this year, but I was patient and figured I can get it in place and I'll be set up for next year. Still nothing happened. On 8/5, I e-mailed them again and they said it should "ship out by the end of the week or early next week". Guess what- still nothing. E-mail again on 8/25 and got this totally ridiculous response- "unfortunately, the planter is on back order until 12/25" "we apologize for the delay".

WOW- just WOW...

Buyer beware of what your ordering

I ordered a moon gate in June 25th - i never received an email or anything reqarding when this would be delivered. Called Gardeners Supply - they were very freindly and explained this was from a thrid party vendor. I called again asking when?? couldnt give me any info said theyd try and reach them. I finally got an email saying it would be delivered by a tractor trailer truck- finally recieved my order on 8/11/21 I would definitely recommend calling to place an order to see if its actually available and if its coming directly from them and not a 3rd party vendor.

Shipping delays - was NOT notified about backorder

Raised Bed Corners were supposed to arrive by 6/4 (based on the order). On 6/6 I called an requested status of the order. Customer Rep told me that the item is on back order. She didn't know when the order would be shipped, "probably in 10 days", but she wasn't sure. Called a few days later, Rep said it has been shipped, but based on the UPS tracking number the item had not shipped yet. So either the UPS app was incorrect, or the Rep lied. I trust UPS.

Why didn't they contact me about a shipping delay, like any other company?

Will not buy anything from grardeners.com anymore. Plain incompetence.

Customer service is a nightmare in my…

Customer service is a nightmare in my opinion. I place an order for a planter which has not been delivered and is now 2 weeks late past their "expect by" date. I called and the 1st customer service rep I spoke with said she'd check on my order, asked me to "hold" and then never came back. After 15 minutes on hold I hung up and called again, waited 5 minutes in a queue, and when I got through to a 2nd rep, he either hung up on me or dropped the call after a few seconds. I place a 3rd call, waited another 6 minutes in a queue and finally spoke to a woman who promised to check on my order and get back to me within 24 hours, which never happened. This series of calls took nearly an hour of my time and I still have no answers. Would never order for them again - they obviously have some serious communication issues.

Constant Backordered, Never Ships!!!

This is the very worst online company that I’ve encountered! Everything is on back order and they never communicate that to their customers. I called and they said that my items (raised bed corners) are in stock and that it will ship but it never does. And then when I tried calling back again I am given continuous lie after lie after lie. Save yourself from frustration, wasted time, and headaches! Most importantly save your money. Order somewhere else! Please read and heed the previous reviews. Also, notice how they don’t even respond to their dissatisfied customers on this forum.....IT’S BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE!!

DON’T BUY AT GARDENER’S SUPPLY!!!

Lies. Lies. Lies. And more lies!!! Beware of this company. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to get your gardening supplies! This company doesn’t deliver! I placed an order on April 27, 2021, for their 23” Raised Bed Corners. I received a confirmation email stating that the corners were “in stock and will ship”. Never happened. I’ve called several times and spoke to numerous representatives including Ellis, who told me that he checked and that my order was in stock, would ship in a few days! That was more than a week ago! So I called again on Friday, May 14, 2021 and spoke to a “second level supervisor” by the name of Jay. He said that because he was a higher level supervisor that he had more options and could get things done! He promised a 25% discount on my order and more importantly he promised me that he would get answers and call me back on Friday or Saturday at the latest to update me and confirm the shipment of my order! LIAR! NEVER EVER HAPPENED! Still nothing! Nothing has shipped. I still have no order or resolve. I’m sure I’m not the only one! Avoid Gardener’s Supply at all cost!
Tuesday, May 18, 2021: Called yet again to get answers, spoke with Tonesha who tells me that my order is now set to ship Friday, May 21, 2021. I asked to speak with a supervisor, I get Tray who informs me that Jay is not a supervisor after all!! Furthermore, she tells me that she does not believe that my order will ship this Friday and that it will mostly get pushed back again! She goes on to say that this particular supplier keeps pushing the dates back because of lack of metal supplies and lack of workers AND that they’ve been working with this supplier for over 30 years! WHAT?? So, you mean to tell me that you know ahead of time that you are not able to fulfill these orders, while you are taking them? She goes on to tell me unfortunately that’s just the way it goes sometime...oh and she’ll get back to me on Thursday!
AGAIN, AVOID GARDENER’S SUPPLY AT ALL COSTS! (This is why so many people turn to Amazon, as disgusting as they may be....they deliver)!!!!

Ordered gardening box for wife for…

Ordered gardening box for wife for Mother’s Day that was said it would be here in a couple weeks. A few weeks later I call to check on it and they tell me it’s on back order for TWO MORE MONTHS! The worst part, zero communication. When I asked why they didn’t even attempt to let me know they where wasting my time and the mother of children gets nothing this year they stated the “might have sent me an email that ended up in my spam”. I looked, nothing.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. I ordered 10 rail planters. 3 were damaged. I called and was told my wait time is 42 minutes. I emailed. I did get a incident number. But it has been over 10 business days and no one has contacted me.
I will not be ordering anything from them again and I suggest that anyone reading these reviews keep that in mind. They have no customer service.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service, don't waste your time ordering from this company. I never received my order nor any correspondence from them about it. After the expected delivery date, I emailed multiple times, never got a response. I called and was on hold for 35 mins then someone transferred me, I was on hold for another 20 mins, then was told that my order should be shipping, that is was in stock and didn't know why it hadn't been shipped out, and that I would get an email update within 24-48 hours. 5 days later, still nothing from them. I called again, was on hold for 25 mins, then got hung up on. I have received no email correspondence from them besides the initial order confirmation. This is not a proper way to run a business. I spent $190 with them to that I now need to get my order cancelled and refunded. I question if this is even a real business!

The high quality customer service…

The high quality customer service touted by this company is a sham. I was told an item was in stock, no outside vendor to rely on, & would ship out w/o any delay caveats, so I ordered. I waited a month, which is double the duration of the expected delivery, & despite 4 phone calls, each time being put on hold for 10 minutes (never 9 or 11), they have no information on their ability to ship my item. They have NO INFORMATION FROM INSIDE THEIR OWN COMPANY despite an internal request of over 10 days. This is gross mismanagement. I finally lost patience and confidence in this company and cancelled my order. I have to wonder if it did arrive of what quality it would be. Each communication with their staff produced hope but no performance. DON’T BELIEVE THEM. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY if you expect anything to arrive

This is my first time planting herbs

This is my first time planting herbs. I'm using grow bags, I live in the tropics so I need to be able to move the bags from heavy rain and intense sun. Its thrilling that the basil, spinach and cilantro have started to grow. I'm going to order more seeds because of the success I've had.

my order was backordered for months

my order was backordered for months. I received half of the order, with no hint of the other half being backordered or even addressed. I got a drying rack with additional bamboo baskets. I received the baskets over a month ago, and spoke with customer service twice. they were backordered to dec. 17? I think? when I spoke to the last rep. I still have not gotten any info. this is ridiculous!!!1

Soap curing and storage shelf

I use the product as a soap curing and storage rack.
It shipped in a descent amount of time.
The appearance is very nice.
It was very easy to assemble.
It holds an exponential amount of product.
The design allows for the soaps to securely sit and easily air out (cure).
The individual shelves seems a little wobbly when pulling and pushing the drawers in and out, so caution is suggested when doing so.
Perhaps a few thicker pieces of wood and longer screws would resolve that.
Overall, I do love it and would recommend the product.

Back order changes not communicated

My item was back ordered - and I knew this when I placed my order - but I wasn't notified when the ship date continued to get delayed. Additionally, there is no information AT ALL in the My Orders section when logged into my account. There isn't evidence of my having placed the order even though I received a confirmation. I understand there can be issues with fulfilling orders - especially this year - but updates on the status would have been appreciated.

they took my order everything great…

they took my order everything great moving right along. i get my lamps { here's where they got their six stars } 1 of the three flickers.But i got two that work. called them to get aRMA and they said no,no, just throw it away replacement on the way today. it don't get any better than that!!

Not a good fit

Ordered self watering reservoirs. Not as sturdy as i anticipated. Returned it at buyers expense. Which cost me an additional $37.00. It would be great if you could get a contracted standard rate for returns. At this point I won’t place another order unless I’m sure I’ll keep the product. Heart breaking since I love your stuff.
