Avoid. Cold calling scam artists that send unsolicited goods then harass for payment. Will not collect goods or arrange returns. Will be reporting to trading standards

Can’t believe this company are still scamming people by sending goods at inflated prices that were never ordered. We reported Gems Hygiene back in 2007 to trading standards!!

GEM Hygiene engaged in constant harassment for payment despite never having placed an order. They delivered goods without authorization and continued to send invoices.

I strongly advise against using GEM Hygiene.

Great service

Truly nice company that provides a great service and looks well after customers. Fast delivery, fair deals. Also, want to highlight Paul who always goes an extra mile and provides excellent customer service and is always helpful. Definitely recommending this company as a supplier!

A total scam, called regarding samples to then sending an order which was almost 10 times what we normally pay.

Cold calling con artists.

Avoid at all costs.

Telesales picking on junior members of staff & conning them into ordering products. Prices they charge are whatever they feel they can get away with.
Normally about ten times the market value.

Absolutely shameless company avoid at all costs. Cold called our business and conned us into accepting what was described as a small very low cost order, to try out their new all in one product without commiting to a big spend. What actually arrived was a huge box load of three different products costing hundreds of pounds which we had no use for. Then tried to further delude our staff into believing it can't be sent back by courier, due to the chemical nature of the product. Again this proved to be nonsense, you just have to choose an appropriate company such as TNT. Can't imagine what kind of person would consider that an honest living, but stay well clear and make sure to report them as we have.

Always reliable service from gems hygiene from phone order to delivery all within a few days would like to mention Jon Murphy always a pleasure when he calls not only does he put the order through he always asks as a bissness how were getting on always friendly and polite and a great help on looking at other products wish there was more stars to rate

We received a phone call one of my bar staff took the call and they asked her if she would like a free sample for some rinse aid for our glass washers she wasn't to know these people are con artists 2 days later 2 boxes arrived with 4 x5 litres of rinse aid bill £445
I telephoned the company and he said pay or redeliver the goods the cost down to us I have reported this company as they are con men avoid at all costs refuse any deliveries from them sad excuse for a company

We get a part of our cleaning supplies for our venue from Gems and Jon Murphy, who handles our orders, is always extremely helpful and thorough, making sure all gets processed smoothly. Thank you!

Always great dealing with gems hygiene. Products are very good and delivery service is excellent.

I deal with John and he is always great with the latest products and deals. He knows what we need for our business and always gets it right. He has a knowledge of what Gems sell. Great company and great products.

Dawn is really helpful and friendly. knowledgable and great for checking up if we need supplies etc. We are a rugby club so not a massive customer at all but she always makes us feel important as a customer.
