Outright terrible experience. The renter committed fraud with his photos, and as the owner you end up on the losing side. Definitely do not list your car for rent on this platform!
Even after providing proof photos with timestamps, mileage, and a completely empty fuel tank, the renter is still being favored.

Stay away from Getaround, especially if you are traveling!
I tried to book a car in Barcelona, but the app crashed. Even though the booking failed and didn't show up in my app, they still reserved $500 from my card.
I was left on the street in a foreign country with no car and no access to my funds. Their customer service is non-existent—I tried calling their Spanish,NORWEGIAN, UK support line (+34 93 220 02 62), ITS A TRAP THEY SET YOU UP FOR multiple times, and they just hung up on me every single time I CALLED. No "Emergency" help available, and no response to emails.
This is unprofessional, unreliable, and potentially dangerous for travelers who depend on their service.
Avoid this app at all costs! Use a professional rental company instead.
