Very quick response
Very quick response to request for help. Great product, picking up more than one email account. LOve the "Block Sender". The Folders are a god-send so I can group past emails by topic, which also makes searching quicker.
Simple to set up and use
Simple to set up and use. I do miss Apple Mail's smart folders, where when you move two emails to the same folder, the third time you move them, it shows you the folder where you moved the previous emails, but otherwise, it's great.

So fast on returning email questions with answers. Very simple to use. Fast downloading; so far I really like Mailbird. I have another app that I like really well, but this is so nice I think I'll keep it.

I love Mailbird, it is so easy and logical to use. a problem cropped up using my Outlook email addresses. Mailbird tried to help. but it turned out to be a Microsoft problem which was solved by a M icrosoft windows up date
I bought a Mailbird Lifetime License…
I bought a Mailbird Lifetime License years ago with a one-time fee. Recently, I discovered that they moved me to a recurring yearly subscription without my explicit consent or any notification.
This is a classic fraudulent business practice. They provide a 'donotreply' email in PayPal to make it impossible to contact them. If you value your money, stay away from Mailbird. They steal from their old loyal customers by charging unauthorized fees. I am reporting this to FastSpring and initiating a chargeback

What made my experience great was the immediate and knowledgeable responses I received. My particular problem required several iterations of "try this and tell us what happened" followed in each case by a rapid response telling me what to try next, and when necessary providing links to the required software. I was very impressed by the quality of the support provided, and will mention it to others.
Very Disappointed with Mailbird
I have experienced considerable disappointment with Mailbird, particularly in relation to their customer support and email functionality. Despite sending numerous support messages over several weeks, the only reply I received was an acknowledgement that there was a high volume of queries causing delays in their response times.
Throughout this period, I have been unable to access my Outlook email through Mailbird. I carefully followed all instructions provided by both Mailbird and Outlook, but unfortunately, these efforts did not resolve the issue. Outlook is one of my primary email accounts, making this problem especially frustrating.
To compound the frustration, I was subscribed to Mailbird's premium service, meaning I was paying for the software rather than using the free version. Despite this, the lack of support and unresolved issues have made the experience unsatisfactory.

Mailbird for Me!
After trying several email clients over the decades, I discovered Mailbird which I've been using for a few years now. I use it just for personal use. I have found Mailbird to be easy to install, use, and backup. As with all programs there has been the odd glitch along the way. Mailbird Support has always quickly set me right.

Mailbird is the most amazing email app. Both my sister and I have been using Mailbird for sometime when Microsoft ended the email app that was part of Windows. We have been very pleased with the app and Oliver, bless is heart, is very patient and has helped considerably with the few issues I have had. I resoundly recommend Mailbird. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

The term “Mailbird Pro Lifetime” should be understood as “Lifetime Payments,” not as presented by the developers.
Mailbird is a fast and reliable email client, with useful features and a clean interface. I have no complaints about the app itself.
However, the same cannot be said for their update policies. According to their official response: "However, please keep in mind that our current version of Mailbird (called Mailbird 3.0) will be the sole focus of our product development from this point onwards. Mailbird 2.x will no longer receive any new features or improvements, but will continue to work nonetheless."
This clearly shows that every new version of Mailbird requires an additional payment, even if you purchased a “Mailbird Pro Lifetime” license. The term “Mailbird Pro Lifetime” should be understood as “Lifetime Payments,” not as presented by the developers. Older versions no longer receive development.
An unacceptable practice that undermines customer trust.

Mailbird isn't syncing all emails
Mailbird isn't syncing all emails. I find emails on my iPhone that doesn't appear in the mailbird app on my computer. I have tried to sync and most emails synk but not all. Very unreliable and no solution to be found.

I’ve been using Mailbird since 2020 and…
I’ve been using Mailbird since 2020 and can’t imagine using anything else. I started with the Pay Once Premium version and shortly afterwards upgraded to their PayOnce Business version. Later, I believe in 2023 they upgraded to version 3.x which converted me to the new Premium version. My PayOnce stayed intact but the annual updates including email tracking started charging $20/year which is well worth it but after a severe injury left me unable to work I wasn’t sure how long I’d be able to continue paying for upgrades. I recently contacted support to see if I could pay and convert to Pay Once Lifetime Upgrades without having to purchase it all from scratch. Support responded quickly and provided a very reasonable option to switch to pay once lifetime upgrades.
I can’t thank Oliver and Andrew enough for all their assistance on this. In fact, I’ve only needed support one other time in all these years and that was to find out how to safely backup my email. They responded quickly with an easy way to do so. I can’t recommend Mailbird enough. Great support and it’s so much better than anything I've tried and the tracking, schedule later emails, ability to use multiple email accounts, copy and move email between accounts and even send/reply from any account regardless of which account it was sent to is a huge bonus. Big thanks to Mailbird and their great support team.

I had a real problem after an update. I wrote to Customer Service at Mailbird and Oliver replied the next day. And then sent a solution which was very easy for me to apply. Problem solved! Thanks Oliver

I have the lifetime license as well.
Yes, it's for the V2 app, and that didn't transfer to V3.
However, V2 still receives some patches and updates.
I take it like office 2024 or something. You can use it forever and get patches but no major updates.
It is a shame the newer version has no lifetime option.
But, since the current one works perfectly for me, I'm happy to keep the rating at 5* as long as they don't discontinued patching it (at least security updates, doesn't really need anything else).
Also, very good customer service.
