After getting a notification saying delivery off my order would be between 13-50 & 15-50 that afternoon, I waited in for the delivery, but nothing came. The next day I was notified "the courier ran out of time", and my delivery would be delivered that day. Why the original courier could not communicate I do not know!

Great price and a quick delivery. Kept informed from initial order through to delivery.

I requested a refund four weeks ago but have not received it, despite sending a message via the website and phoning the Service department six times. The Service department told me that the refund has been processed and should come into my bank account in “5-7 working days”. That was 11 working days ago. When I phoned and chased it, I was told that “it can take some time”. I fail to understand how it can take so long. I paid £156 for an oven element and service visit to fit the part. The engineer brought the wrong element and was unable to do the work. The following day, I went into the Gloucester store and purchased a new oven from Gillman’s. I have been a loyal Gillman’s customer for 30 years but feel I am being treated very shabbily on this occasion.
Update on 2.4.26 - I have received an email from Gillman’s explaining the situation and a full refund. I shall continue to use Gillman’s.

Everything was easy with click and collect.

No problem ordering my item and paying for it online. Very pleased with it. Item was delivered within 3-5 days as promised. Received a message from APCDelivery informing delay. Wasn’t able to track journey as had no consignment number. Couple of days later had text message saying item being delivered within 3 hours (a bit short notice). Driver did phone me and item delivered safely. All’s well that ends well. Will consider ordering from Gillian’s again.

I have just bought a Neff double oven from Gillmans. The price was amazing, saving hundreds of pounds from what AO and John Lewis charge. I initially thought Gillmans would not have delivered from Gloucester to Sussex but the extremely efficient and helpful Sal in sales arranged it for me. The delivery was done by Gillmans driver, and he was very friendly and efficient too. To be honest, I had never heard of Gillmans before, but now it's the first place I shall be looking for electrical appliances. It's just so good to come across a company that is thoroughly competent, offers great pricing yet you still get a 5 star service. One extremely happy customer!

Efficient service, courtesy, follow up

An engineer visited my property to fix a faulty washing machine two weeks ago. He was asked to please take special care as we had just had an oak floor laid and it was as yet unscratched. He nevertheless, just pulled the machine out without paying heed to our request and scratched the floor badly. I immediately called sent a photo , which was referred to management and 20 days later still no response, not even an acknowledgement!!
