Ordered GHD's on 17 August and paid for next day delivery. Didn't arrive. Phoned company on 18 August and was told there had been a mistake in the warehouse and they had been dispatched by 2nd class. Paid for next day delivery for my daughters birthday and 2nd class delivery was not acceptable as they would take up to 3 days to arrive. When I asked if they could send another pair for next day delivery I was told they were out of stock!!
I therefore requested a refund on 18 August. On 19 August I phoned to make sure payment and been credited back into account and was assured that this had been done and would take up to 3 days to show in account. 31 August refund still not credited into account phoned and emailed and left message for someone to contact me. No one called.
Rang and emailed again on 1 September and asked for a call back. Still no one has curtesy to contact me. I am now nearly 90 pound out of pocket and cannot get anyone to speak to me. I therefore intend to contact Trading Standards in Glasgow in the morning and pass on my concerns and ask that they look into this for me. I WILL NOT USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

Awful awful awful. And I only ordered an £11 tub of hair wax. Will be reporting them ASAP.

Girlznight.co.uk is one of my most often used online shops. They mainly sell hair & beauty products.

Products are divided into different categories, which are Skin, Hair, Body, Makeup, Sun & Tanning etc. The amount of different brands at girlznight.co.uk is pretty amazing; they've got hundreds of them. There are fancy high-end products, as well as cheaper options and many organic brands too, so everyone should be able to find something suitable there. Here are some examples of the brands sold at girlznight.co.uk: Redken, Wella, Ego, tigi, fudge, Fake Bake, paul mitchell, ghd, matrix,... and the list goes on and on.

The prices at girlznight.co.uk are very reasonable, at least compared to - once again - Finnish prices. I've found products there that are almost 50% cheaper than the same ones sold in Finland. There are always some sorts of offers there too. For example, at the moment one of them is that you get a free beauty Spa kit when you buy two Schwarzkopf products. And what's truly amazing on this site, is that they offer free delivery, worldwide! Now that's pretty rare. They also sell gift vouchers.

I've never had any problem ordering from them. I think it's a trustworthy site and really simple to use. They also have truly considered international customers; not only do they deliver worldwide for free, but there are also six different currencies to choose from on the site, which makes shopping a bit easier for many. Alongside look fantastic, this is the site I always check out, whenever I need new hair & beauty stuff.

I ordered some Redken hair products via the website and rang the company in Glasgow to ensure they were Kosher. All seemed fine until a week later, when I hadn't received the goods.

A first call explained the goods would be despatched 'soon'. After a couple of days, a second call elicited the goods had been returned to Girlznight as they 'had been damaged in transit'. Given the Royal Mail don't do this, and it would take an awful lot of damaging to break these goods, I simply didn't believe them.

I was told they would be despatched again immediately, but after four days, still nothing. When I rang to complain about this I asked for a refund and one arrived in my account some 3-4 days later.

I do a lot, if not all non-food shopping on the internet and have been doing so for years. This is the first time I've had a significant problem, and I'm mightily disappointed in this company. They appear all fine, but are clearly not in my experience.

Read all the reviews of course, and make your own decision. Personally I won't ever go here again, as I don't trust them as far as I can throw John Prescott.

I first saw an advertisement for girlznight in cosmopolitan and it caught my eye when it said 'professional hair & beauty products'. :) So i decided to visit the website and from all the online stores that sell hair & beauty products, girlznight looks to me like its the cheapest on shipping cost saving you pounds of money.

The website offers free delivery on EVERYTHING! which i think is great seeing as other online stores charge a lot. The site always has special offers on, the layout of the site is easy to use and make-up, hair products, whatever your looking for is easy to find.

I've only ever bought 2 items from girlznight and that was 1 bottle of fake bake lotion and a tanning mitt which totaled at £21.49 and of course the shipping was free! Which i think is good seeing as just the tanning lotion on its own is retailed at £25.95 bought from anywhere else.

The delivery came very quickly within 4 days, the products i received were very carefully packaged and wernt faulty.

Overall i would shop there again and will probably be buying more stuff in the future!

I ordered from this website in the middle of July and having not received my product a fortnight later, I called the company. There was no long winded "options" to go through and I was speaking to a gentleman immediately - which I really didn't expect. He was extremely apologetic as I should have had an email informing me that my product was out of stock, which I had not had, however he informed me that my product had been sent 4 days previously so therefore should be receiving it in the next couple of days.

I didn't receive it in the next couple of days! But this time it was not the fault of girlznight, but of Royal Mail. This time I emailed the company explaining I had not yet received my order, and their correspondance was excellent, informing me that they would be receiving more stock later that week and would put a replacement package out to me as soon as they could.

I finally got my procduct around a month late, however after the initial phonecall, my experiences both on the phone and via email have been extremely positive and I will be ordering from girlznight in the future.

Would like to thank everyone at girlznight salon for an amazing day. And Sarah for all your help on the booking and everything you did on the run up and on the day. Everyone was so friendly, hair nails and make up were all brilliant.

Everyone had a great day and think you may be getting a few Christmas Partys and Birthday's bookings with all the high recommendations I have been giving everyone about Girlznight!

I have used girlznight.co.uk on a few occasions now. Delivery was on time, goods were exactly as I ordered and the price was excellent.
What more could I ask for

This is my first experience of girlznight.co.uk and I am quite impressed. The standard of products are excellent and the service is as good as I have experienced before.

This haven is a one stop shop for all the (sometimes hard to find) salon brands. They stock loads of products including professional ranges from wella and Redken. The site is large and neatly organised so products are easy to find and the online staff are knowledgeable. The staff don’t seem to be plugging any one particular product and gave me good unbiased advice on what products I needed when I asked for help.

Ok..if you don't mind being completely overwhelmed by choice then this website is for you! I could honestly spends hours trawling through all the brands and options on here. I use this site to get huge 750ml tigi shampoos and conditioners, that I have never found on the high street- the last me months. I've also used it for dermalogica, which is again quite difficult to source apart from spas etc. and they have nearly the full range on here. If you become a member of the site you get an extra discount and there are always discount codes hanging around online which you can redeem for free delivery etc. On most occassions that I have ordered they have also sent me some other samples of related products to try. Things come packaged well and normally take a couple of days to arrive. If you need any bits for your other half there is also a great selection of male products.

Hi there, just to say that I found the service at Girlznight very good. Got emails sent to me at every stage of the process from placing the order to it being despatched. Ordered my products on monday and received them today so only took them 2 days. Very impressed as usually when I order online I find it takes 3/4 days to receive my items.

Would use again and would recommend to others. Oh, also, the order was packed very well and there was even a free shampoo inside! Not sure if this was intentional or not but a nice surprise all the same!!!

I ordered items on the 5th July and never got them delivered. Contacted them by email twice, I had no response, I then contacted by phone I was told my item was returned damaged a similar story to another user and a replacement was on its way. I sent another email complaint at the poor service and I then got an email to say that the item was actually out of stock and I will be getting a full refund. Bit of a contradiction. I will let you make you own mind up whether to order from this company at your own risk!!

I ordered my goods over 2weeks ago now have emailed and no response i have rung with no response and i would just like to mention to the people that have had a good experience and saying comments like "i dont know what all the fuss is about" just wait if you keep using them or you order a expensive item you might be eating your own words!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY best using cheapsmells.co.uk or going to a hairdressers like supercuts....will keep you updated....

Ordered products on 25/07/10 and 26/07/10. After no delivery after a week, I called them yesterday after reading the reviews on this site and worringing myself! A man told me that the products would be with me within a couple of days, then an hour later I received an email response to my email previously sent, saying that some of my products were out of stock ... Conflicting information! I called and spoke to a polite man. I asked for a refund and told him that I would stay on the phone while he refunded my money. He emailed me confirmation of the refunds, and I received the money today .... After just one day. If my products weren't in stock, they should have advised me. I shouldn't have had to have chased, but I got a refund within one day ... All resolved within a week.

Goods ordered on 11th June, account debited. Have not received anything despite chased a few times.

Similarly as other customers, we received email: "Unfortunately, your parcel was returned to us as it was damaged in transit. Please note that we are despatching a replacement order to you as soon as possible."

As it is another week since and we have not received the goods, we will start legal proceedings.

My experience has been similar to Stephen's. I placed an order on 26th of June and the money was taken from my account on the same day.It is now the 14th July and I am still waiting for my hair spray! It's been 18 days!

I emailed the company on July 6th to ask when I could expect my product to arrive and they simply replied,

'Please note that your order has been despatched and should be with you any day now.'

I called them today and was told that my item had been returned to the company as it had been damaged in transit. However, they didn't think to email me to let me know this! This is a terrible example of customer service.They said another has been posted out today and will be here in the next couple of days. I'm not holding my breath and plan to ask for a full refund if it hasn't arrived by Friday.

This is a totally new experience for me, as products that I've purchased on the internet have always been delivered speedily in the past.

I wish I had seen these reviews before, ordered GHD's, three weeks later still nothing delivered. I have asked for a full refund, and now am battling to get my money back. I have deceided this puruse this through trading standards, as I am sick of chasing them.
DO NOT USE THEM! I have have never had such a bad experience of internet shopping!

I must admit I am a bit of an obsessive when it comes to my hair.
I have naturally very curly hair, and am always on the look out for products to get it straight.

Luckily I came across this site, which sells all the products my hairdresser uses to get my hair poker straight!
As you may realise when you go to the hairdressers they always seem to get your hair lucking perfect, it always smells great to. and when you ask your stylist erm whats that you have used on my hair, they go into automatic selling mode and try and sell you an entire range!
which ends up costing more than your hair do!

Well fear no more visit this site.
I love the prices much cheaper than in the salons and sign up to be a member which takes minutes and costs nothing, and you will get further discounts.

Once you order your products you get no delivery costs (better to buy a few products at once) and they arrive really fast.
I recently ordered my usually shampoo and conditoner via the internet on a Tuesday night and 8:00am Thursday morning it was delivered!
You can also get your items delivered to a different address, i normaly get them to delivered to my work address.

They have a huge range of haircare products on sight, plus electrical items, tanning, etc
