Global Blue: Refunds disappear into the blue
Waiting over 2 months for a VAT refund.
The item was checked and approved by customs, the form was stamped, and Global Blue received everything.
Yet somehow they are still hiding behind the fact that their own machine rejected the claim — a rejection that is built into their process for high-value items.
Customer service response? “Other parties are involved, we’ll come back as soon as possible.”
Two months later, I’m still waiting for the money they owe me and apparently “soon” has a very different meaning at Global Blue.

It is descomplicated to receive the refund, because Global Blue send us an email in advance, and we complete the information required. When we arrive at the airport, we do the process in the kiosk, ande we see the total amount we will receive in our credit card.
