We did the Mount Etna Emotion 3000 Tour in Oct 2025, and it was great! Our guide Francesco was the best, friendly and informative - and patient with me at 69 taking a little longer to get up the hill to see the craters. We loved the whole experience.

Francisco was a great guide! Helpful, informative and made the experience wonderful. We were lucky to have a beautiful day to enjoy driving and climbing the mountain. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we are glad we chose Go-Etna. They picked us up at our Airbnb and dropped us off. The vehicles were comfortable, the guides considerate and our experience was unforgettable. Thank you Francisco and Go-Etna!

We had a wonderful day. The hike to see Mt.Etna was fun and the guide was very helpful and informative. This was followed by an excellent and very enjoyable afternoon w lunch and wine tasting. We all loved the selection of the wines. Thank you for accommodating vegetarian lunches.

We went on the go etna Summit tour. There was hardly any communication with our guide Francesca. In the beginning she told some information about the vulcain, but only the first 3 or 4 of the group would be able to hear it, cause she moved fast and there was no time to form a circle so hardly anybody (about 14 persons) could hear what she said. Along with our group, there were about 10 more groups, in the beginning. In the end it were even more groups, over hundreds of people.
Hardly any time to take pictures, no break, no communication. No update or explanation about any (time, walk, location) plan whats so ever.
After 3 hours of hiking up, only (after multiple requests for a break, we had a break, just 15 minutes before the toure was finished. Never did she check if we were all there. We still have no idea who and exactly how many persons were in our group and if we all made it back safely.
Someone fell on the sharp ground after 3 hours of non stop climing, stayed there for over 30 minutes without the tourguide coming to check.
Back in the bus, she never said anything anymore (like...how was your tour, ...did you enjoy...do you have questions?) Nothing!!! And she left the bus without saying anything, not even goodbye..

Besides this terrible guideance, near the top of Etna, it was sooo crowed, more than hundreds of people, we had to wait long times, many times, on tiny steep places, no room to move, so very uncomfortable. Wish i could post pictures here, to prove. No time to look into the crater, too crowded and too rushed, and much unbearreable smoke from the vulcano. Very dissappointing.

Don't do this, it is NOT at all worth it and VERY much a waste of your money!!!

Change of date based on fake weather forecast to match their own convenience with a change of route without any notice in a tour initially hired to mount etna (3000 meters) and changed to the north side of the mountain.
No refund available when realizing the actual changes to the plan.

Stunning scenery, a very memorable and exhilarating experience. Shame that the weather closed in and we couldn’t reach the top of the crater. However the guide was always professional and safe with a peppering of humour even when conditions became tough. Fantastic hike.

We had booked a full day tour leaving from our hotel in Taormina and they put the wrong address in the reservation so we missed the tour. Since we were not familiar with the area when I saw my hotel name I didn’t look closely to see 3 lines down it said Catania and not Taormina. No refund or compensation of any kind offered. I am a travel agent and have booked tours through many companies including Get your guide and Viator and have never had this happen before.

Matteo and Sergei collected us on time. They were very pleasant and informative and we had a great time exploring mount etna, going down caves and tasting local produce. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing day on this Mount Etna tour. Pick-up was prompt and the small air-conditioned vehicle was actually better than the advertised 4x4 for the heat. Our guide Marco was excellent — friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer questions.

The lava caves were fun (though involve steep steps), and the hike to the viewpoint was challenging for some but absolutely worth it for the stunning views when the weather’s clear. Lunch in a lovely forest cabin was good value, but we were seated away from other English speakers which felt a bit isolating. We also had to swap buses with a Dutch-speaking group for the return journey, which added to that feeling.

The final stop at Alcantara Gorge was great to see, but be prepared for lots of steps unless you pay extra for the lift.

Overall, a long but rewarding day out — we’d definitely recommend it if you’re up for some walking and adventure!
