I had no proper invoice for the payment my son made regarding cat vaccination. We paid about 200 pounds not sure what was included in the service

The best veterinary practice in the area.
We’re always able to see the same vet - who is the best vet we have had the fortune to be with for years - and this means we have consistency again.
They were recommended to us and I reccommend them to you!

I took my Shih Tzu, Max, in this week as he was very lethargic and just wasn’t himself. We weren’t sure whether the recent hot weather was affecting him, but Rosemary gave him a thorough examination and prescribed some medication. Within a day, Max was feeling so much better and had really perked up, which was such a relief.

The reception staff were, as always, so welcoming and friendly, making us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. The practice was lovely and cool, which was much appreciated during the heat, and Rosemary was extremely professional, kind and reassuring throughout.

Thank you all for taking such good care of Max. We really appreciate everything you do.

This review is for Emma, my dog’s vet at the Chingford practice.

Emma has been caring for and treating my dog since he was a puppy. She is brilliant, patient, and so compassionate with all animals, especially my dog, who struggles with anxiety and anxiety-related aggression.

My dog has had a recurring problem with the skin around his eyes, and despite the challenges of examining and cleaning them, Emma has always been incredibly patient, gentle, and kind. She always takes the time to make him feel as comfortable as possible.

I’m very grateful to Emma and all of the staff at Goddard Veterinary Group’s Chingford practice for the wonderful care they’ve given my dog over the years. Thank you!

Excellent service again ! Been taking both my Dog and Cat there for years - Dani the vet and Rebecca the nurse were professional friendly and caring!

I gave a five star because again I found the service to be excellent. My cat started limping. Hence a visit to the vet. She was given a thorough examination. Nothing serious found! But the vet was very caring and assuring. So I left the appointment with no worries.

Excellent and efficient service from all staff. I had an emergency with my cat. They did everything to take him for a consultation. The practitioners were very efficient and professional. Highly recommended

Great on Tuesday, but a different vet couldn't care less on Saturday. Refused to carry out or even book the procedure two other vets said Peggy Sue needed. To make matters worse she left our dog without any more pain relief.

The attention Peter the vet gave to my half Bengal cat Libby. He calmed her down immediately for her annual vaccination.

Sponge is always given the very best of care when we visit. They are always happy to listen to any concerns ad advise us and we are extremely happy with the vets and their caring manner.

I work long hours thus asked my elderly parents to call and arrange flea treatment for my two cats on my behalf. My mum phoned and was quoted £120 for three months of flea treatment for two cats, including flea spray. I thought the price was high but accepted it because it supposedly included everything.

When my dad arrived to pay he was told they had no idea what he was talking about. Suddenly the price increased by an additional £2.50 per cat, and the flea spray my mum had specifically been told was included was now apparently an extra £37. They now wanted £162.

It’s unacceptable to quote one price over the phone and then change it when an elderly customer arrives to collect and pay. If the original quote was incorrect that should have been acknowledged and handled professionally rather than leaving my parents confused and embarrassed.

My cats were only examined a couple of months ago so no consultation was required. Despite that the price for flea treatment alone was so high that it would actually be cheaper to register with another vet, pay for a consultation there and obtain the treatment elsewhere. They was also reluctant to write a written prescription without delay, and the price for a written prescription exceeded the “set” price outlined on their website.

Unfortunately this has completely undermined my confidence in the practice. Clear consistent pricing and honest communication should be the minimum standard, especially when dealing with elderly customers.

It’s also disappointing to see how expensive medicines have become at many large corporate veterinary groups. Goddard Veterinary Group is part of VetPartners, which is owned by the private equity firm BC Partners. While ownership alone doesn’t determine how a practice treats its clients, this experience left me feeling that value for customers was not a priority.

Roll on a few months time when they finally cap the price in the uk for writren prescriptions so we can order online without being ripped off.

We have always taken our cats to Godard’s and have been impressed by their wonderful staff.
This time we had annual boosters for Inky and the vet was thorough and experienced.

Very helpful when I had to call and get my dog seen very last minute just before closing , happy to triage Rex and gave treatment , was stressful as I was abroad and my daughter was worried about him , helped her anxiety about the situation. So thank thank addiscombe branch for other yesterday x

The staff couldn’t have been better. Love everything about Goddard.

The receptionist and vet at Goddards Highbury are both lovely and always treat my (senior) dog gently and with kindness and respect. We never feel rushed during consultations and the explanations of treatment are always provided in detail.

Whilst I had to wait almost an hour more than over than the appointed time I was very happy with the Vet's care of my cat and to send the prescription to me so I could order the medicine online where they are significantly cheaper than buying from the vet.

Ive used Goddard at Thamesmead for the last 5 years. Although I've rarely seen the same vet twice, the service has always been consistently good. Every experience has been positive and they've worked with me to find the most cost effective solution. Very happy and would recommend.

I can't recommend Goddard Veterinary Group in Acton highly enough, they are absolutely the best! Every member of the team is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the animals they look after.
They have looked after my two dogs with exceptional care since they were puppies, and every visit has been a positive experience. The team always takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make both pets and owners feel comfortable and supported. You never feel rushed, and it's obvious how dedicated everyone is to providing the very best care.
