We were lucky the tour took place
We were lucky the tour took place, as the original tour guide called in sick in the morning. Unfortunatly the subbing tourguide wasn't prepared enough to provide a smooth tour with Harry Potter trivia, it was rather about historical facts.

Harry Potter Tour from KX
The museum of making Harry Potter was great experience. The company had it well-organized (pick up points), the bus had a Harry Potter layout. However, I think that the time we could spend inside was not enough. Arriving to the museum we received tickets for 13:30-14 and had to leave at 17:15 for Kings Cross. The bus on the way there felt more like a sauna. The bus on the way back was modern but show up 6 minutes late after our departure time so we were waiting for it directly into the wind.

Journey was okay but driver was late.
Overall the journey was good but we were supposed to depart at 11:30 am. However, by the time our bus driver had finished having a cigarette and a chat we didn't get going until 11:45/50. Wasn't very impressed with that when we were told to be there earlier to make sure we would depart on time. And we didn't do that anyway...

Excellent tour with guide Bruce and driver lucian.
Bruce was very helpful, engaging and entertaining as a guide and lucian drove us everywhere safely and on time. Highly recommend touring with these two!

Paid for tickets at "Passforfun", Goldentours actually issued them. They worked perfectly and were 3/5 of the normal admission price. I would definitely use again. Both are legitimate companies.

Awesome Stonehenge Tour
We had a wonderful time on the StoneHenge Tour. It was a historic site and I learned a lot. Armondo was great as our bus driver! Very informative. Most importantly he waited for us even when we were running late.

I had a wonderful time on my trip…
I had a wonderful time on my trip visiting Bath, Stonehenge, and Windsor. My group was put in the care of Bruce and driven by Armando. Bruce is very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing many stories of years past and enlightening us with history. At every stop he made sure the group had a weather update, warned of anything we should watch out for, and gave a safety warning if one was needed. Armando delivered us smoothly to each destination and took care while driving.
Every destination is a unique experience and having excellent hosts allowed me to enjoy them to the fullest. I highly recommend taking this trip! Be sure to get fudge in Bath, enjoy a snack at Stonehenge, and take 500 photos in Windsor!

Change of pick up place
We nearly missed the tour because nobody had informed us that the pick up point had changed, it was only when we rang up because nobody else was there we were told about the change, it wasn’t ideal because one person has a heart condition and can’t move that quickly, very stressful as we thought we were going to miss it.
I would show a copy of the ticket but it won’t let me paste, but the ticket definitely states pickup Belvedere Rd, SE17NA.

For clarity, the meeting point is stated on the ticket as: “Until 20th April 2026: Bus Stop 17, Southbank Place, York Rd, Milverny Way, London SE1 7ND.” Guests can use the full postcode to reach the exact departure point. That said, we understand how upsetting it must have felt at the time, and we regret the worry this caused.

Bruce is an incredible guide, he’s very kind, funny, approachable and makes the tour very interesting.
Zaw is a great and thoughtful driver. Overall an organised trip that we enjoyed tremendously.

Difficult to navigate
My kids were so excited to go on an open bus tour. We had a hop on hop off ticket, and assumed we'd be able to do just that. The problem was that after we got off we couldn't find the bus we needed to get back on! They have an interactive map on the app which we used, but it doesn't indicate how long the wait is at each bus stop, or even which direction the buses are going in from which particular stop. We spent around an hour trying to find a bus to take us in a particular direction before I messaged golden tours only to be told the stop we were at was not in use. When I asked why this information wasn't on the service updates within the app, I was informed they can't be expected to keep it up to date with every change. Everyone we spoke to on the day seemed really unwilling to help to the point of being unfriendly. There wasn't much audio info on the bus anyway - it was about 90% music - so we may as well have just got regular London buses. I wish we had done this and saved the money.
