Honesty leads to cancellation
Notifying of a hospital admission due to virus led to a cancelling of my policy because the call handler would not accept that I did not have a virus name or number. Despite me saying that there was no blood tests done to determine what virus they were adamant that I needed a name or number of a virus - the symptoms of which were like flu.

Mostly good customer communication. I did need to call a second time to clarify an important point that had been overlooked.
The assistant went through the process with me which took quite long and I needed to ask for clarity over further points as there was so much information to process which was communicated very quickly. Overall satisfied.

Great Customer Service, but Platinum Tier is now priced out!
I have just renewed my travel insurance and want to highlight the excellent service from the staff member who helped me. They were incredibly professional and thoroughly explained the different levels of cover so I knew exactly what I was buying.However, my only issue—which is related to pricing rather than service—is that the price difference between the Gold and Platinum cover has significantly increased. For the last few years, I have always purchased the Platinum Policy. This year, the huge price jump meant I could only justify buying the Gold cover instead. While the Gold cover is similar, the level of cover is noticeably less and I will now have to pay an excess charge if I make a claim. The service remains top-tier, but I am disappointed by how much more expensive the premium tier has become.
