I visited Go Outdoors in Basingstoke and was assisted by James T with several items I needed for an upcoming two‑week hike. James was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to give detailed guidance on the best products to suit what I was looking for. He was open, transparent, and honest throughout, which I really appreciated.

I was able to get everything I needed and am very happy with both the service James provided and the products I purchased. Thank you to James T for being so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and transparent. Excellent service all round.

Myself and my partner went in to the Basingstoke store today, we were both browsing different parts of the store and a very helpful member of staff helped us both. Carol went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we were looking for and gave us lots of advice to help us know we had picked the right items. Highly recommend the store and thank you Carol.

I wanted to buy a pair of ladies’ walking shoes & received excellent help from Kai, who was extremely helpful patient & engaging , making the whole experience very pleasurable.
The store was well laid out, clean, easy to walk around , full of very exciting merchandise.
It was quiet , with no music playing!

I was at the Basingstoke store looking for walking shoes with my mum and Paul helped us go through a lot of different options and was very knowledgeable.

Amber, who looked after me for my visit couldn't have been more helpful and patient as she helped me pick both a new riding hat and long boots. Thanks to her suggestion to try a different size boot (1 size up from my normal size), I walked out with the boots I really wanted which fitted perfectly!

Served by Martin today he was very helpful and friendly.

Rich was so helpful, he spent ages advising us and was v knowledgeable . We bought walking shoes and a down gilet. He’s improved my husband!😂

We went in as a family to do some shopping at the Basingstoke branch and found the staff really helpful. The store was well laid out and looked lovely. My husband ( he was the one with the beer belly, thinning hair and the silly moustache) spent ages looking at all the camping gear. A big thank you to Julia on the tills who helped us out.

Hopelessly poor experience of 1st visit to go outdoor store.
Was hoping to purchase 2 zempire camping chairs,not cheap so checked online basingstoke showed 6 of both styles.
Drove the 10 miles only to be met by miserable staff who said never heard of that brand.I showed the website pic showing 6 in stock was told oh yeah we entered them but they're not here come back tomorrow.
Needless to say we won't be.

Was a really nice shopping experience! Went in to buy some new walking boots and Sian was really helpful and knowledgable, super happy with my boots, 10/10.

I needed new handlebar grips so popped into the Basingstoke store whilst I was out with my dog the very helpful chap Terry helped me with the choice and then kindly fitted them to my handlebars while I waited with my dog thank you very much Terry they are very comfortable and did make a difference
