GO Outdoors - Hull Reviews 

Today i bought 2 pairs of shoes and was Served/helped by Tom, he was very patient whilst i tried on different sizes and was super helpful. A credit to the Hull Store. Thank you.

Bought boots today in the Hull, Clough Road store and asked about Price Match. Staff were excellent, and after confirming my request was genuine, applied the Price Match with no issues. All with a smile! Lovely customer service as usual

We had a great experience in store today. We were served by Adam who was very patient with us as we tried on numerous pairs of trail shoes, all the while explaining the features and benefits of each. Back and forth he went in search of alternatives and sizes, yet nothing was too much trouble. The service was so good, we went back the next day to buy another pair 🤣

Served by Matthew yesterday at the hull store, very friendly and a fellow spurs fan!

We missed out on an offer at the York store, we popped in here (at the Hull store) to get some other bits and pieces, we explained to the staff and they sorted it out for us, excellent customer care, thankyou Leah.

Queries and was a pleasure to speak to really good service !

No wait at the till. We were picking up some running gear and Matthew was encouraging of exploits!

A massive thank you to Jack (lad with the long hair) for helping in our hour of need! Our air tent tube has broke (suspect fault from the Euro hike range) anyway, with no spares in stock, jack did all he could to assist. He rummaged through old stock and found us an inner that he believed to be suitable. As dead stock and unidentified he was able to give us this for free. Whilst not exact, it's worked! Thanks so much Jack, you went over and above

Very polite young man named Matthew, was super helpful with the items I needed to return due to no longer being required. I had not used them . He was very patient with me and in no time at all he was given the go ahead for my refund and everything was done. He was a very pleasant staff member. He has natural customer service skills .I came away with a good feeling for his retail journey.
I will hopefully see him again on my next visit . It's rare to find good staff so i am sure he will do very very well.

I can not commend this branch of Go Outdoors highly enough. The service I received was outstanding, Katie went over and above to locate a part desperately needed for my damaged Berghaus Air Shelter which wasn’t an easy task. I had contacted Berghaus directly who were not helpful at all, I purchased the shelter from Go Outdoors so thought it would be straightforward and just be able to purchase the part on line but that wasn’t possible. It took Katie 2 weeks to locate the part but like a trooper rang me as promised to say it was on her next order for me. I can not thank her and another young lady who took the original call (Lauren I think) enough. What an amazing team. Outstanding customer service

Second review this month, another great experience. Had to buy clothing for son’s camp. We were helped by Hannah, who was really friendly, even though we kept having to go back several times for help. Good value clothing in the children’s section, just what we needed, thank you.

Asked Lewis for help when looking for the berghaus 400 tent they had sold out in store and online. He helped me look at a couple of other tents when I asked if the display one was for sale. He pointed me in the direction of his manager, I stupidly didn’t catch her name. The lady was very helpful. The lady then said I could buy the display tent. This was at 7pm. The lady said it won’t be tonight as we are short staffed. I had no issue with that at all. I popped home for my card. When I returned at 7.45 to pay for the tent, the lady said we are taking it down as we speak in you can hang on 5 minutes much to my delight I waited. As I paid for the tent and footprint etc. Lewis strolls to the till with the tent. I couldn’t thank the lad enough. He even said “I managed to wipe the bird poo off”. What a polite friendly guy. The world needs more people like Lewis and the manager. Great experience great friendly helpful people who genuinely wanted to help. That lad and lady need a raise!

Brought my elderly mum in to purchase some quick lace walking boots. Eve was very friendly and suggested a couple of options. She was very patient with mum and helped us find the most appropriate shoes. We were served at the till by a very cheery Matthew who again was very helpful and friendly. Chatting to me and mum about what we were up to... made mum's day. Thank you to these two members of staff who deserve some recognition.
