Great service today when buying walking boots.
Assistant was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately didn't get his name.

Abbi, Ricky and dan were amazing, ricky was brilliant i was shocked to learn he has only been here a month. Abbi was super informative and polite when deciding the best coat for this horrible weather. and Dan was lovely on the till making sure i signed up for the card to save money

We were served by Ricky and Dan on Sat 10th of this month and both went above and beyond to help us, we left with the perfect outfits for walking our new puppy. Both were friendly and knowledgeable and to top it all off agreed that our pup was gorgeous 😊
The lovely lady working was also amazing but didn’t catch her name!
We will definitely be back for more after such a lovely shopping experience 😊

I went into go outdoors greeted by Ricky who was really helpful in finding me a warm winter coat! Millie and Jo then helped me find the perfect pair of shoes! Everyone was super friendly and gave me great advice, after I told them what I was looking for.

I did some last-minute shopping for hiking boots as mine had completely fallen apart, and I’m heading to Cornwall this weekend! I thought I knew exactly what I needed, but as soon as I saw all the different boots, I felt completely lost. Thankfully, Ricky was there to help! He was incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I explained everything I needed, and he helped me narrow it down to a few options that suited my requirements.

The lovely lady, Maria Abby was very helpful in finding me the right shoe for the job, I was going for a boot, however when I pointed out that I tend to dance down the street when on my own, she pointed to a pair of trainer style that would be more flexible when on the move. Very happy 😁

Their friendly, helpful assistance was very welcome and I would choose to go to this shop next time I need anything outdoors. It was also great value.

After spending 30 years in France, I was a loyal 'Decathlon' customer and not at all familiar with 'Go Outdoors' and its various ranges of camping and hiking products.
Jo and Abbie (hope I spelt that right!) quickly revealed themselves knowledgeable about the items that I was interested in and also pointed out the multiple advantages of the Member's Card.
I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range and availability of the products in what is a relatively small shop. The shop window displays - which are clearly frequently updated - also invariably catch my eye whenever I pass by.
With the ever bright and cheerful Isla and her equally pleasant colleague, Maria, often at the checkout downstairs, visiting the Newton Abbot store is a real pleasure! 😊
PS Don't forget biscuits for Isla! 😁
