Happy to find Matt on the fishing section again who gave me some more tips and helped me choose some lures and sea bits. Thank you for your help if you see this.

Bought a Black Diamond Distance LT 1100 head torch on the day I was leaving for a multi-day canoe trip in Scotland.
I plugged in to fully charge whilst travelling and was looking forward to having a really good light. On arriving at the first camp, the head torch worked well and, especially the red light, was impressive. I had left the light on for an extended time doing camp chores when the light flickered and dimmed. The second night the light stopped unexpectedly leaving me with a small hand torch and light on the phone, not great.
I plugged in to the battery bank and waited for the blue light indicating charging, this never happened so was left, literally, in the dark.
I returned to Go Outdoors Plymouth, the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Pulled up my purchase from the discount card and checked the head torch to see if it was user error. Thankfully it was a faulty torch. This was swapped out and, on asking, was tested with a staff’s personal charger. Friendly, helpful and professional, above and beyond. Very happy.

Went with the family to look at getting a new tent. Our Freecycle one has done the job of converting us to camping, but was too small. We didn't know what we wanted or what was best. We were looking around, going from tent to tent. Such an impressive selection to see and walk around. A member of staff approached us and asked if we needed help. Matt went through the options with us. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, it took a lot of the stress of making a decision out of the equation. That was our first ever trip and we have been back twice since because of the great service. Would recommend this store.

All the staff were so helpful as we were looking for stuff in such a big store! We were served by Sarah and she was a delightful person and kept good conversation throughout checkout!

Camille is an asset to the company. I Popped in to get some boots and sunnies. Camille was helping 3 people including myself, 2 of us on shoes and an elderly couple trying to work out the trouser hanger. Camille made us all feel incredibly welcome and created an experience with her obvious knowledge in product and expertise in customer service.
