GO Outdoors - Swansea Reviews 

Visited the store yesterday and received fantastic service. Rachael in the shoe department was helpful, patient and knowledgeable about hiking and my particular needs. She went out of her way to find me just the right shoes and deal which happened to be in the sale section. I ended up buying two pairs and my savings bought me a pair of trousers as well. All this in a very busy shop full of customers.

Staff in store were amazing. Originally ordered a tent plus carpet and footprint bundle online. When it came to delivery only the tent and carpet were delivered and the footprint was cancelled. After trying to sort by email and phone with the customer service team and getting nowhere decided to go on store when I seen the footprint was in stock. Amanda service us at the till and sorted everything with our any hassle and in no time at all. If customer service were a fraction as good as the staff in store this would have been delt with much sooner. Next time I will pop in to store rather then bother wasting my time with customers support

I was very happy to find the product that I had been looking for on the website and to find I could have it sent to my local store where I could collect it. Ordering was easy however, I did not get any notification to say my item was in store ready to collect and had to call in, thankfully my item was there ready for me, and the staff member was helpful, an email for pick up would have been helpful informing when collection was ready.

5 days ago me and my 2 friends and 12 kids went camping to notice I'd brought the wrong poles for the tent I'd brought, 4 minutes before closing I arrived at the store and Sofia Amelia and Sara very patiently allowed us to find a tent, renew membership and reassured me when I had a few bank technicalitie, settled my anxiety and were very friendly.

I had such a pleasant experience in go outdoors today, a lovely handsome young man by name of Cameron helped fix my sons bike. Wish I was young enough for him 😫

Tim who works at Go Outdoors Swansea, Llansamlet gave us fantastic service and advice on the best hiking boots to take on our upcoming trip to Base camp in Nepal.
There was no pressure to buy, just an educated and detailed understanding of what our needs were.
We chose the Meindl Bhutan in the end.

I love everything about being outdoors. After 25 years in the army and have been out for 13 years it's time to be out and about again with some normal and a bit of wild camping. You have the lot. Thank you.

Very good service

Had to return a self inflating camping mate for it has a faulty valve, rang the Swansea store to see if they had any replacements in stock, lovely lady Nicola went into the store, checked and put a replacement aside for me! Collected the replacement and Nicola sorted out all the admin quick and efficiently! Highly recommended.

Excellent helpful service from staff who did their job like they loved it. They were knowledgable, patient and willing to give time to a customer.

Simon the manager was excellent and his team members were obviously very well trained. I am pastor of LifePoint Church in Swansea - we take 200 people camping every summer and on the strength of the quality of the experience I had I have been recommending that my church members come to Go Outdoors Llansamlet for their kit.
My wife and I have been especially impressed during our visits by Oscar, Mark, Sofia and Agata.

Great service from Tim the ‘boot fitting’ expert- really knowledgeable and helpful with great personal skills who helped me choose the right product for me. So glad I went to the store rather than trying to buy online.

returned shorts bought in Swansea store as had a fault in the top stitching to the legs. Assistant agreed,
promptly got managerial approval and had a refund. Ordered replacement online as my size wasn't available in store. Service was good from everyone.

They were very helpful with my faulty item. Replaced it asap.

Ordered a very competively priced portable cooler as an extra cooler for our motor home. We have a built in fridge of course, but once you start putting drinks in it, it fills up rather quickly. So, we ordered a Hi Gear 28ltr cooler purely for our drinks. The click and collect ordering process was easy and we chose the Swansea branch for its convenient drive from where we live in Bridgend. Cardiff is a little bit closer but very prone to the busy morning rush hour traffic, and I needed to be in, collect, and back on my way within a few minutes. Swansea's location was perfect for that. Staff were friendly, store nicely laid out and of course the product looks great. Not used it yet apart from unboxing to make sure all was ok and of course working. I will review the actual product once we've returned from our upcoming weekend away.

I had to reorder my order because you cancelled part of it even though there was stock. The reorder worked so there was clearly stock. The store collect area had no staff. It was a real mess with products strewn everywhere. I asked for help and someone came. They struggled to log on to get the order. It was eventually found under the mountain of other products.

I have since ordered extra and the pick up time still hasn’t updated even though it was meant to be Fri 31st. Today is the 2nd Aug.

Good and friendly service today from Nicole on the till.

Tim needs a medal for the level of patience, support and knowledge when I bought my Scarpa walking shoes the other day! He could not have been more helpful, and I came away with a pair of shoes that were perfect for what I needed. They had a baptism of fire when we walked over the rocks to Worm's Head the next day!
